Looked all over for a nail salon with a kid's chair and you would think we were looking for gold. Originally we were looking into the Vintage location but the person at that location let us know they didn't have the kid's chair but their Louetta location did. Since it was really down the street about maybe 10 minutes further after searching and searching for this chair we gave in and I'm glad we did. Everyone is very friendly and they got us all 3 to sit right next to each other. It was like it was all planned out. Each nail tech did a great job and they were very patient with my granddaughter. They provide complimentary drinks and we lucked out since it was my daughter's birthday and got 10% off of her service. Overall it was a great experience and we'll be back. read more

This was my first time coming to this place and I will not be going back. I decided no shellac and the woman kept on bringing it up. Even started telling me that the regular polish won't be dry all day. I've never been to a salon who's told me that before. I ask her if they have a table where the fan blows on your toes like other salons have me sit at for a few minutes. She acted like she had nooo idea what I was talking about. I finally got her to understand what I meant and she said yes they have that. She stillllll continued to BOTHER me about shellac. I actually had already made up my mind that if she mentioned it again I would say yes but leave her no tip. (I did order a drink so I left a tip. Which she did NOT ask if I wanted one, yet my girlfriend next to me did get asked by her lady.) anywho, it was just not my favorite interaction with a nail tech and to see the finished product isn't even worth the money I paid for even less the bs I had to put up with. Never have I been told my polish won't be dry all day. That just tells me this place must be horrible overall if the shellac is this messy and the polish won't dry all day ? Very weird lady. Didn't last a week and already both hands all have popped I haven't had these for more than a week... got my nails done Friday 3/27 but Sunday one popped off... then throughout the week one after another. The nails were never cut or cuticles pushed back and I felt like they were rushed but the lady was nice.. just the care they put into my service didn't seem like it was good for them not to even last me 2 days. I work so I won't be able to make it there by the 8 day period on Friday but I'm not off till Saturday... but all of them are off now so what is there even to do about it? I paid 78$ for the French and one design on each nail. They were wobbly and now everyday I've woken up a new one has popped off. My whole service with nails toes and including the tip was 171$.... Toes are still in perfect condition no chip which shellacs Disappointing and upset considering I've been going there when I do decide to pamper myself maybe 2/3 times a year and spent that much for them not to even last. Very unhappy with the services I received. I went in for a simple mani/pedi. They filed my nails so thin and damaged my nails so badly that they are paper thin and break before they can grow any. She cut my nails very short. Also, my gel polish started to chip in less than a day. I was able to come back and get it fixed but there was even an issue with that. I will never go back to this salon. I left with a nail fungus, which should never happen if proper hygiene is followed. They also upcharged me for services without letting me know in advance. Worst of all, they used a photo of me on their website without my permission. I've reached out to them multiple times about it and have received no response. Fantastic experience! Very high class, clean and friendly staff. My husband and I were looking for a new place since we just moved to houston and don't know anyone who could recommend any to us. We used Yelp and found this place. The entire experience was great! I do have a few words of advice: they provide beverages but they were missing a lot of mixers and I don't think mine was made with the high end liquor that's displayed. Came to Executive for a couple of services on 11/3/2022 with a girlfriend, being Vietnamese and capable of fully comprehending it...was beneficial on this visit. It's been approximately 6 days, and I've got about 4 nails lifting as if I've had them on for a whole month. I requested a new set, which required my nail technician to remove my existing set, cut them down and glue on some new tips. Single nude-ish overlay color. The removal process was VERY painful, I hate when the nails are ripped off with another fake nail. Told her twice it hurt and my friend had to let her know again for her to stop. My nail technician Natalie didn't engage in conversation but it didn't bother me too much until her shit talking. I finally inform her in Vietnamese about my dissatisfaction of my nails. I give everyone the benefit of the doubt typically but whether she wanted to go home early, had a bad day or didn't want me as a client. Your problem, not mine. At this point, I was ready to punch her. If you made it this far, go to Lumiere they're amazing. read more

In the past, I've always had nothing but professional. And excellent service. But for the past couple of months, i i've experienced too terrible pedicures. the nail text name is kelly.Avoid her if at all possible. She is totally distracted does half hearted service.. more worried about her phone than her job. This was the second time she gave me lousy service even though I gave her an opportunity to do better. I got one leg semi massaged, and the other one was half massaged. Because she's playing on her phone. And the cuticles were done on one whole foot, and only the large toe, on the other that's how much attention she was paying to what she was doing. The hot wax was still melted while she was removing it. She didn't give it time to set. I was pretty much rushed out of there. It was around thirty minutes afraid, treat myself pedicure, and I even requested not to paint my toenails, which eliminated some of her task. It was such a waste of my time and my money that all I could do was laugh about it as I was leaving. The manager was very apologetic and did give me twenty percent off, but that did not erase the feeling I.Left with. It wasn't about the money.It was about the service. For me, this is a relaxing love myself treat. It was far from that today.I didn't even get to drink more than maybe a fourth of my complimentary coffee.That's how quick my visit was.Ughhh read more

I have been visiting this nail salon since they opened a few years ago. It used to be my favorite place to go, but not anymore... Today I went in for a shellac mani/pedi. I rarely get my nails done, but when I do this has always been my go-to. After today I won't be returning. Kelly, the technician that did my toes was completely unprofessional. She was texting for the majority of her time with me. She would stop what she was doing to respond to text messages. She also made 2 different phone calls. She even stopped during my leg massage to respond to text messages. Considering the fact that they set a timer for the message, this is completely unacceptable. She also started the timer before she even started massaging because she stopped to text and put on gloves. The timer should have been started immediately before the massage began. After my pedicure was finished, I went to the counter, paid, and left. I did not say anything as confrontation makes me uncomfortable, but I should have. That is my error. Kelly's service was absolutely horrid and I should not have paid full price for it. Again, my error. I was also never offered a beverage. Again, perhaps I should have said something, but I was trying to be patient. After I got home I called the salon because I was still feeling frustrated with what I paid and the experience received. The manager I spoke to was essentially useless. He apologized and said that next time I come in to remind him of the situation and he will be sure I don't get Kelly and he would offer me "some off". He didn't even say an amount/percentage or even ask for my information or name. In my opinion this is not an appropriate response. A partial refund would have been nice, and at the very least Kelly should be spoken to. He didn't even mention that would happen or seem surprised that I complained about her. I feel like my complaint was falling on deaf ears so I've given up, aside from writing this review. It seems Kelly should have taken a personal day today. She never apologized to me about the phone calls/texting and just kept doing what she was doing. The entire pedicure was, excuse my language, half-assed... I should also mention my water was cold and she never even added salts. When she was finished she shoved the bill at me and walked away... no "thank you", no assistance with getting out of the chair or putting my shoes on. Nothing. $138 later, It was certainly not the experience I was hoping for when I went in to "treat myself" for my birthday. At least the woman who did my nails did a nice job, I guess. I will not be returning to this salon again unless they make this right, which I don't see happening. read more

If I could give this nail salon 0 stars I would!! The nail tech CUT ME 4 different times, twice on one finger! Something as simple as washing the dishes or cooking caused my fingers to be irritated due to the cuts after the visit! The entire process was painful! My nails started to peel 3 days in!!! My nails were even different lengths!! I called beforehand to confirm if they could do a certain design for my partner and I and they told me yes! Unfortunately when I got there and showed them the designs they did not seem confident they were able to accomplish the look.. they tried to get us to change our minds about what we asked for originally! They CONSTANTLY kept suggesting shellac to us both amongst other things we did not ask for ! I let them know I could go elsewhere if they were not able to do the set! They insisted it could be done so we stayed and they turned out absolutely atrocious! The lady still proceeded to use shellac after we voiced that's not what we wanted.. and they did not accomplish the look at all! I walked away with french tips all in all and those weren't even done correctly. There is extra product stuck to my finger under my nail. Not to mention when I walked out the door it already looked like I needed a refill!! Never will I return! We spent $150 for a horrible experience! They were not busy at the time and they still did not take their time or even try because they were over our complaints! read more

Got a full acrylic set but left with a few fingers pretty cut up. The nails themselves are pretty bumpy, have some bubbles, and I can see some red fibers from the towels sealed into my polish. I am a little bit of a stickler when it comes to details on my nails because I've had some really nice sets so small things like that do bother me a little. This isn't the worst set I've had but overall I think it was done sloppily. Some of the heart shapes are super shaky/wiggly looking. The staff was nice and my friends set of acrylics looked super cute but overall not really satisfied with mine. My pedicure on the other hand does look great and I enjoyed that service. I've been coming here for many years. Recently the new owners have taken over. There's a lot of changes some good some bad. Before you would order a drink and get it within five minutes. Now you order a drink and your waiting almost 20. All the prices went up about 30%. Staff doesn't really seem happy anymore. I used to walk in and see nothing but smiles now I see long faces. I came in to treat myself yesterday and made a prior appointment by phone for my friend and I. During my service (pedicure plus acrylic powder dip manicure), i was charged for the bill. I was getting my nails dipped so i had to tell the front desk girl to pull my wallet out my purse and grab my credit card. She charged and brought back the bill, which i did not sign for 15mins because my service wasnt complete. The nail tech asked me to sign and i had to complete and pay tip before my polishes were done. SERIOUSLY? Where in hell do you have to pay bill and tip before a service is rendered?? Im not running away. This was impolite and just rude. My vietnamese friend was not rushed similarly. The nail tech left obvious growth gaps, so im certain this wont even last a long time. Another tactic to have people return faster for refills. It looks like a week worth of growth. Im unsatisfied, this was supposed to be a relaxing day. I paid $78 for the pedi and mani, plus tip. I wouldn't recommend this place any longer after seeing, firsthand, that they don't care about the health and safety of their customer. My full set and refills had been done here. Decided to give my nails a break and saw this fungi growing on one of my nails. The manicurist told me that I should get another full set so that it will grow out quickly. BIG RED FLAG. Not only is that completely false, it would put me at risk to have the fungi develop and cause severe issues beyond that current staining that cane be easily treated. She also didn't recommend any treatments but tried to file down my nail so thin that I had to ask her to stop because it hurt. There were additional issues with my pedicure but I can overlook it because it did turn out well in the end. I have read that this can happen from poorly applied/cared for acrylics, but what I didn't expect was the response from the manicurist and the response from the receptionist. When I asked to speak with the manager, that had been walking the floor just before I checked out, I was told he was too busy to speak with me. I will not be returning or ever recommending this place again. read more

I have been watching this location for over a year as a potential investor. The location is very clean, upscale, well appointed and professionally run UNTIL a recent management change. Apparently new management thought without any real analysis that  the established and expected customer service levels could be maintained while reducing front office staff: errant  and uneducated assumption! With a staff headcount reduction which has no purpose other than to  slightly reduce overhead the overall customer and employee experiences has tanked! Although not a customer of the salon I always felt well treated when I walked in the door: I was always professionally treated and offered a drink, how awesome! Techs are dispatched via pager to meet customers based on either established appointment (made via Facebook, Instagram and other social media outlets) call in or walk in. Techs always seemed happy and calm. Now established customers attempt to call for days and cannot get an appointment and all social media scheduling has been abandoned, additionally no one picks up the phone!! The high touch customer experience is gone when you walk in the door, calm polite direction replaced by finger pointing,  a new shouting manager and direction to sign in on a dirty Ipad. Is this a salon or a field hospital doing triage after a bloody battle? What kind of management replaces a high touch, professional well run front office with a customer triage mentality that alienates established customers, increases the stress of customers and employees and reduces service levels to all customers to save the labor costs of 2 employees? A management team that wants to destroy a successful business model and favor walk ins over long established customers. This team violated the very first rule of taking over and established business: analyze the existing business model fully BEFORE any optimizations! (even if they have 100 other salons don't assume your model is the best!) In my 20-plus years in corporate America failure to map and understand the existing model prior to making changes universally a recipe for disaster! Wake up and roll your management system back to the previous model before you lose not only your established customer base,  but also you're highly skilled and trained staff as they run to other less stressful more employee and customer focused salons.... read more

Sarah did my nails today. I had over a month grown out powder nails that were hideous. She removed them and put on a gel polish. She was careful not to hurt me and took her time to ensure my nails were healthy and happy. It's hard to find someone who not only pays attention to hurting you but also does such an incredible job. the manicure is even and stunning. I already booked another appointment with her. I've been going to this place ever since I moved to Houston a little over a year ago. The inside is very nice, clean and welcoming. I've been going to Mary and Hannah since I've been here and they are great. Bathrooms are nice and clean. I like they provide you hand towels to dry your hands off and you discard them in a bin so they can wash them. They provide complimentary drinks that are very tasty. I'll keep coming here as long as the customer service is good and my two favorite ladies stay here. read more
