Well, who can complain about fast, friendly, professional service, at a fair price?…read more I contacted 3 companies to have a couple of trees trimmed/ removed. We chose AG Yard Care. The owner, Alejandro, came out quickly to make an estimate. He was friendly and professional, gave us a very fair price, and also gave us a little background on his company. Less than a week later, they came out, removed the 3 trees, hauled them out and cleaned up the debris, quickly and efficiently. This is a family owned company, which is partly why we chose them. We were glad to support a family owned business. I highly recommend AG Yard Care. Call Alejandro - he will give you a fair price for your project.

My son was at the house when the work began and was able to watch the work progress. He commented on how carefully the men were in cutting the branches down to avoid any damage to plants, fencing or decking. He also commented on how nice all of the men were. It took them into a second day to complete the removal but after they were done, they took the time to clean off the deck and the roof of the accumulated sawdust. If I ever need to have another tree removed, they will be the first ones I call.

I have to preface this by saying I have had this company out 3 times in the past 6 years - and…read moretheir work is very good. My issue is with a receipt that just can't seem to make it from their office to my house. I have requested said receipt numerous times both via telephone calls and emails. Most requests have gone unanswered - but the two times I did get a reply it was with some lame excuse about accounting issues or computer problems. Regardless, it has been 4 months and I have still not received an invoice for the $950 worth of work I had done. For the life of me I can't figure out why a repeat customer who has spent thousands of dollars with this company is being treated so poorly. It will most definitely influence my choice when next I need tree work.

They took down a giant oak that was growing into the side of our garage, precariously close. (The previous owners just cut away a part of the roof to make room for the giant tree!) It was an awkward and tough job. They made it look easy. They mentioned that there was another tree with a branch in a bad place, but we decided to wait. That was a mistake. After the massive snow storm, that huge oak branch broke and was dangling over our garage. Lutz Tree Service came out, assessed the emergency and removed the branch the same day. In the dark, in the snow. Great service and reasonable prices. Thank you for saving our garage.

I'm sorry to see the earlier poor reviews. Glass has been…read moretreating my trees for a number of years quite successfully. Here's my story. I have a number of large Birch trees around my home, a very large one in the Southwest corner, a group on the western exposure and a rather large one on the east side. The group on the West & Southwest exposures provide much needed Summer shade. Since my house was built in 1907 and has no insulation. All my trees started to wilt and die off. I called a very well known tree company. After they cut the dead branches off they informed me that the trees were being attacked by the Brown Birch Borer. The most valued tree on the corner was declared a loss by them. I refused to give up and did my research. I contacted Glass and they claimed to have a solution; injecting the trees with an insecticide that would kill the larvae of the borer. Having nothing to lose I hired them. It was a bit pricey to me and I waited for results that did take a few seasons. Glass also did a fertilizer soak on all my trees and shrubs. The final results are amazing. All the trees became healthy and quite large to the extent that I called the original arborist to trim the trees. They were quite silent when I pointed out that my trees were not only saved but thriving. These treatments occur once a year and are well worth it. My home has shade on 3 sides during all the warms months. This also adds value to my home. Thank you.
