Was driving on I-5, Alpha Turf truck and trailer pulled in front of us, rocks and dirt chunks started flying up everywhere! Aggressively hitting my car and flying all over the place. They have a sticker on their trailer that says "not responsible for broken windshields". Well isn't that ironic, they knowingly KNOW that they throw rock/dirt chunks all over the place. That's a very irresponsible practice of business to let this happen and obviously don't care. read more

We had our turf installed in April of this year we have been absolutely pleased not only with the quality of the turf, the workmanship as well as the amazing customer service they provided me. I received exactly what was promised and more. I received 3 bids for my job and chose them because of their warranty and their responsive communication. This company especially the owners Kyle and Jamie go above and beyond to assist you from your quote to the installation. They are always available to me when I have questions or concerns. I can tell you some of these comments I read about the company being rude, not responding or doing a job for less than $10,000 is 1,000% false information. Please don't believe all you read when someone uses social media to get back at a company for their own personal reasons. There is always two sides to a negative post. Amazing, hardworking, and professional crew! Let's talk about a well-planned process. Alpha Turf arrived on time and ready for work. They brought in all of their BIG equipment and got right to work. They answered all our questions not only with satisfactory responses, but they also did it with courtesy and respect. The crew also made suggestions for a better layout and we changed up the size of the job without any fuss. They even delivered a portable bathroom for the crew. The clean-up: The front of our house did not even look as though there was any work that had just been done the past 2 1/2 days. The neighbors were all impressed with the clean-up and several made comments about how professional they appeared. If you get a chance to meet Henri, (sales) you are in luck! Super, super nice guy. We had Alpha Turf NW replace our backyard with turf. The communication with the office manager, Joy, was absolutely excellent. She was a pleasure to work with and was very responsive to questions and providing information. Sadly, that is where the good customer service ended. We got a crew out of their Tualatin office. The crew lead showed up the first day stinking to high hell of alcohol. At the end of the first day they got careless and demolished the corner of my new shed. They fixed it half assed by stapling some new trim boards to the corner. Toward the end of the second day, my wife got home and walked around the side of the house to the backyard to check things out. Sitting on our A/C unit were two open and cold Budweiser tall boys. She didn't confront them about drinking and smoking while working (both against their company policy we were told) since I was not home. That same day, I got a motion on our security camera. Upon activating it to see what was going on I saw and could clearly hear the two main crew members running their mouths and trash talking my wife about a question she had asked. I got home to find a MASSIVE mess left behind all over the street, front driveway, side of the house and back of the house. We spent two full days cleaning up their mess. We got a half assed apology message from the smelly alcohol crew leader. A few days later, the owner Kyle called and nearly word for word gave the same apology. He couldn't get off the phone fast enough. For all that, they assured us that the crew would face "repercussions" whatever that means and they gave us a measly $500 off of our nearly $15k job. Too bad, we planned to have our front yard turfed next summer. We will definitely not use Alpha Turf NW. read more

It's been almost a month since getting our faux grass installed by Alpha Turf and we love it. My two year old always wants to go play in the grass and loves rolling in it and running with his shoes off. We have PreGra grass from Costco at our other house and I wish we would have done this grass there too. The PreGra looks great from the street but shiny and fake from our house. The Alpha Turf grass looks real from every direction and stands up better. The installers were all awesome, letting my two year old watch the machines and they left the rest of the front and back of the house incredibly clean. We live in Bend so also had the local installer of another faux grass bid the project, not only did he miss our appointment, then lie to us then call us a few times begging us for the work because he was always cheaper than Alpha he finally showed up with a much worse product and then came in at a higher price. We will 100% use Alpha Turf for our next home. read more

My husband and I have been thinking about doing artificial turf for a couple of years, but the price has always kept us from making the commitment. Well, we finally decided to bite the bullet because I was tired of muddy paws and dirty floors. We reached out to Alpha Turf to start the process of getting a quote. My husband did a fair amount of research beforehand, watched videos online about the process, and had a good understanding of how it all worked. We met with TJ the first time, we received the quote within 24 hours, and then we decided that maybe we could reduce the price by reducing the amount of lawn space. Alpha Turf came out a second time to help us figure out what to do, but we just couldn't come up with a good plan that wouldn't end up costing what the turf did. We could have put in pathways, or river rock or pavers, etc. But all that costs money as well. So in the end we decided we would just do the entire thing. We scheduled the job to start December 3rd, and it was completed yesterday, December 5th. I cannot stress enough how polite, professional and courteous all the guys were when they got to our house. Several of them introduced themselves to me, and they got right to work. Those are some hard-working guys. They were all very efficient and it was obvious that they had a system. They showed up all three days exactly when they said they would. TJ was so kind and went above and beyond to get a pile of dirt out of the way for me that I was going to do by hand. He brought his little tractor over, and scooped it up in about 5 minutes - something that would have taken me a couple hours to do. And, he emptied my yard waste bin for me so I'd have room to finish cleaning up my front yard. I cannot tell you how appreciative I was of that kind, time-saving gesture. Yesterday was the final day, and there was a crew of four to finish out the job. I was happy that I could provide lunch for them, and they deserved my small token of appreciation. At the end of the day, they went around the yard several times to assure they had every piece of equipment and trash picked up. Their final process was to use a leaf blower to clean up the last of the base rock and dirt that was on the street and my driveway. I was even asked if their clean-up job was done to my satisfaction. Impressive, really! I am SO glad we decided to do this. I went out with the dogs this morning and walked around and just smiled. Was it expensive? Yeah. It's pricey. But the peace of mind of two big dogs running around on clean grass and running inside the house without dirty paws is worth it to me!! Finally, I also loved how much attention all the boys gave my dogs, Stanley and Cupcake. My pesky creatures demanded a lot of attention from the whole crew, and they were all happy to pet them and love on them as if they were their own dogs. Wanted to get a quote for our front yard. My daughter had just had her backyard done. I contacted her sales guy, explained who I was and that they recently completed her yard. He sent me to the web site to request a quote. I filled out the information, explaining that my daughter just had her yard done. I get a response back from Jamie (who I later find out is the owner) the email she sent , was like she was talking to a second grader, questioning if I had the money to get this installed. Not to mention that her email only had a 30% spread for install prices. All conversations I had knowing how much it costs. I get the estimate , my wife and I are thinking about it. A few days later I get an email from Jamie wondering if we want to provide and get on the schedule. I respond letting her know we might want to change our design a little, not knowing if I need an additional quote. I asked how far out are they scheduled, and depending on the answer I might need to look at other vendors. The response I got was typical. We are scheduled our until august, you should get other quotes because we will not be doing your home. This came from the owner, who thinks they can treat customers like little kids, and if you question them too much. They take their toys and go home. Sounds pretty familar!! I would recommend you look elsewhere for artificial turf installers. read more

I, too, had a very poor yard most of the year. No sunlight in the winter, poor drainage, mud and moss infested. I had been thinking about an artificial turf solution for a few years. After a LOT of research, I knew Field Turf was the best product available but assumed it would be too expensive. I was very surprised that Alpha Turf's Field Turf installation bid was significantly LOWER than a competing (non-local) installer's bid for an inferior product. Kyle and his crew were very professional and quick. The install process involves removing yards and yards of existing dirt - I was a little concerned about having a trail of mud from my backyard to the street. Alpha Turf finished the job and left my property cleaner than they found it. Now my yard looks perfect all the time. No watering, fertilizing, seeding, weeding, or mowing. No mud, no moss, no fuss. Just use a leaf blower every know and then. Great for pets and family. This is definitely one case of man improving on Mother Nature. Best home improvement expense ever! read more

This is my first review and I had to create a yelp account to write this review and this was difficult for me and an inconvenience. This review is not about the companies products as I have never used their services or company and this is a review about how they were driving on one specific instance. Never have I seen a company so poorly represented by their employees while on the road. The two trucks heading north on I-5 between Eugene and Portland were driving up by people commuting and slowing down pinning them behind slow moving vehicles in the right lane. The faster of the two trucks tailed an elderly woman as close as they could get for 10+ miles. They would clap and make horrible gestures from both trucks commuting including pointing their hands at other drivers as if they were holding weapons. This was a disgusting act and made even worse that it was done while in vehicles that broadcast their company name on the side. read more

This company might feel like they're professionals because they have a Facebook and a website but they are anything but. While I was driving down I-5 this evening I was abruptly greeted by the headlights of one of their trucks, to the point where I thought they were going to slam into me. With my 2 children in the car, it was frightening to not even have the opportunity to move out of the way before the truck was passing me to the right, just so he can get in front of me and then proceed to get far enough out of the fast lane into the rocks and dirt to make sure my car was hit with nothing but rocks. Not once but twice. Then while taking a picture in order to make sure I know what company to look for I was greeted with another lovely gesture of some sexual provocative action. This not only was completely unprofessional but very unsafe. I hope any family with children will take this into consideration. Who knows what will happen if these people are deciding to have a bad day on your time. read more
