EXCEL=EXCELLENCE!! This is the best way to describe their professionalism. My 1st time in this nearby location and I'm sorry I didn't find them sooner. Upon arriving I was greeted by Mimi whom did an excellent job on my gel pedicure. Mimi's technique was painless and very relaxing. For my fill, Judy-Manager, did the job you hope every manicurist would do. Judy listens to what you want done and by all means is very thorough on the service menu before commencing. Judy is quick, artistic and shows her passion in her work both verbally and hands on. If I could give 1000 stars I would! I'm DEFINITELY returning to these talented and professional ladies from now on. Thank you Judy & Mimi.

They actually do an AMAZING job massaging legs AND feet. Not a quick 3 minute massage it was a decent length in time and the techniques used put me to sleep almost. I saw Alan and his work was superb so far. The lady greeting people as they walk in is very sweet. Their prices are the most reasonable I've seen around recently. I definitely recommend and will be returning!

It's been awhile since I stepped into a nail salon and it took me about two weeks of searching through Yelp, Google and even Facebook looking for a nail salon that was up to my standards. I decided to try Excel because it was nearby my neighborhood and I figured "What the heck! It's worth a try." I am so glad I tried it! I went in on a Thursday afternoon and it was not busy at all. There was only one other woman there and two nail techs, Anne and Kim. Anne did my pedicure and began my soak off so I could get a new set. She did a very good job on clearing out the dry and dead skin that had gathered up along my cuticles and made sure to clean up my toes when she had finished painting them. Thankful for that pedicure because my toes were in need of major love after being jammed inside shoes and slippers all winter long! Kim....Kim is a GIFT FROM GOD hisself! She is 100% A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! She placed, shaped and made sure each one of my nails was the right length! She didnt let me leave until she knew I was happy with my new set. She even motioned and massaged my hands when she was done, which you dont find a lot of people or places doing. She was attentive and paid attention to detail, even the smallest things. I CANNOT wait to go back and see her for my fills! The salon itself was very nice and quiet, smaller than salons I have been in but that made me feel right at home. The color scheme was nice and there were enough TVs mounted on the wall that you were not straining into all types of crazy positions to get a good look at the movie, show or music video that was playing. Good atmosphere overall and definitely relaxing enough to enjoy a full spa experience!

I went here solely because the reviews were better than other places. To sum it up it was so great I forced my husband to get out the car & come get a pedicure. They didn't up-charge me left & right. They charged what I got & told me before they did anything that cost extra which I appreciated. Constantly asked if I liked how my nails looked during the process if I wanted anything changed. Especially loved when I asked for shorter nails no one tried talking me out of it which is surprising common. They did my hands & feet at same time so I wasn't there all afternoon. They got into my feet without making it hurt which was amazing. 10/10 already recommended to my family.

USUALLY they are great, however I have now gotten two pedicures by the older lady there and she hurt me so much each time. She is extremely rough and cut several toes, then had the audacity to say my nails were too thin after ripping my existing gel off instead of doing a traditional soak off, ripping layers of my natural nail along with it.. Every other staff member has been great though, so I still give them 4 stars overall. read more

Came here on a Monday morning for my gf to get her nails done. The workers here are rude, speaking Vietnamese non stop right in front of their customers who don't understand, then look at you and laugh. The young guy was vaping right in the open inside the building and didn't care if the customers seen him. read more

Don't care about customer service, they do whatever they want , doesn't even ask clients about what they want, all they do is talk between each other , I ask for a change in color and she said No , and kept doing whatever she wanted, Jenny is horrible. Gets angry and crazy if you try to tell her that you did not requested that shape or color . Not worth it, unless you want to pay for something you don't want and get yelled NO! Service Price Paid Basic Work Performed My Service $250 Soft Gel Full Cover Tips + Basic Nail Art (chrome/striping) + Basic Pedicure (no spa additions). Mom's Service $175 Hard Gel Fill + Basic Nail Art (on 1-2 fingers) + Basic Pedicure (regular polish, no jelly/hot stone/soaks). The itemized charges on the screen included terms like "Level 2 Nail Art" to justify the excessive cost for what was genuinely basic, common nail art. Red Flags During Checkout The end of the service raised serious concerns about their business practices: System "Failure": The salon's card systems were suddenly "down," and we were asked to Zelle the total payment. This felt suspicious and unprofessional, especially in a tourist area. Lack of Trust: We overheard staff making comments to each other, such as, "They're leaving right after this," displaying a clear distrust of us as customers. I had openly explained our circumstances and even shared a past negative experience where I was scammed by another salon's over-inflated pricing/tipping practices. Conclusion After returning home and consulting with multiple professional nail technicians nationwide, it is clear that my mother and I were grossly overcharged. While I understand prices vary, this felt like an intentional exploitation of non-local customers who were not in the mental state to contest high prices. We paid immediately to avoid any conflict, but the feeling of being taken advantage of is incredibly disappointing. If you are looking to be seriously overcharged for basic nail services, this is the place to go. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this salon.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Excel Nail Spa! I called ahead to check for availability, and they assured me they had an opening. As soon as my mom and I walked in, everything was perfectly set up and ready for us. I wish I could remember the name of the technician I had, but he was a younger guy, and he did an amazing job on both my nails and pedicure. The massage on my feet was heavenly--I didn't want it to end! He was meticulous with my cuticles, left my nails and toes spotless, and gave them the perfect trim. I'd definitely recommend him, and I'll be asking for him again next time. The spa itself is clean, welcoming, and well-organized. I'm so glad I chose this place, and I'll definitely be back. I always like to go to this salon because it is very clean unlike the other nail salons in my area. It is under new management, the manger Judy introduced herself to me yesterday and I was so impressed by her professionalism and customer service that I had to come here and give her 5 stars. She was sharing her plans for this salon with me and I was in awe of how customer driven she is. It was super refreshing to hear someone want to do well by her customers and not just rush your nails. The spa pedicure prices have now changed : Basic pedi $25 Deluxe pedi $35 Luxury pedi $45 Awesome with Luxury pedicure ! We are a group of 10 people just visit El Paso, TX for special wedding occasion ! We really enjoy the Mani & Pedi Combo ! We love the massage and totally relaxed to pamper my feet in the hot summer day ! The manager , Kim , and her Nails Technicians are super friendly and charming ! I had an awesome experience at this salon, just decided to stop since I'm omw to vacation and they accommodated to all of my weird requests. I can't remember the name of who did my nails but he did an awesome job! I loved them and he did them in a timely manner. :) if I lived in El Paso I'd definitely come back! I like the work that was done and also the fact that they work quickly but you don't feel rushed. They did a really good job on my nails and the guy was very understanding because I was trying a new shape on my nails and a new color on my toes. I definitely recommend this place. And the prices aren't sky high, they are reasonable. read more
