We have been here a few times. If you go when they open it is good bc you get right on. Their business card said they opened at 9am bu T when I called they said they opened at 10. Each time i made an appointment for 10am. It is an Asian couple that does the nails. When I made an appointment for 11am for two people I was worried bc they seem to be the kind that take walkins regardless of appointments. Sure enough we show up for the appointment and they ask us to come back in am hour bc they took walkinss. No thanks. We spend like $300 every time we go there. The name on the building and the cards is actually Helen's Nails. I went today and Helen did my pedicure. First thing you notice is the salon is very clean. The massage chairs are comfortable and relaxing. Helen did an amazing job. She took her time and was even able to get an ingrown toenail out that has been bothering me for a while. She did this without causing me any pain which was a plus. Helen made my feet and legs feel so much better and they are softer than they've been in a long time. A gel pedicure was $40. I would definitely recommend for a pedicure. I do not get my nails done so I cannot attest to their work on that side. My only complaint is I wish the massage lasted longer, not because it was short but because it was that good. Helen will be my go to from now on. read more

Helen has been around for years . She and her staff do a great job and I recommend them.

They treat their regular customers so good and their new customers get a rushed job almost. I came in for dip nails and they did not have the color schemes for any of their dip powder. They expect you to look at the actual powder and that should be good enough. I specifically asked if they can do powder and they advised me yes, Linda did not know how to do powder. Helen had to instruct her, so not only did I get someone who had no idea what they were doing she did a rushed job and almost didnt buff out my nail before applying the final and top coat! Went back a couple of times, unfortunately there was much left to be desired the last time. The aluminum nail polish removers they wanted to use on me were being reused! They had been "rinsed" I guess but still, gross. Also, the sealable bag where they store their tools had the guy's name on it. How much more evident can it be that they don't sterilize?! I wish I could give ZERO STARS because this was a horrible, painful experience. I scheduled an appointment for this morning at 1100 with Helen for dip nails and pedi. But sadly the appointment was booked incorrectly and I had to wait over 15 minutes for the tech to even arrive to work today. I was sat by a man at a pedi chair in ice cold water. Finally she arrived and was so rushed she finished my pedi in under 12 minutes. It looks like a child painted my toenails so I already knew how my nails were going to tune out. 3 hours later she finally finished my nails, and not by doing what I asked for. I definitely asked for dip and ALWAYS do dip and she put acrylic in my nails. I am allergic to the acrylic liquid and so of course my hands and nails started burning like fire, I reported this to the lady and she claimed she didn't understand what I was saying! I showed her a picture of a beautiful pink and white ombré dip nail and she gave me a child's scribbled, color nail. She didn't even file my nails and I kept asking her to please file and shape and even them up, again she claimed to not understand me. I've never in my life had my nails take over 3 hours!!! She needs to not be doing nails because she doesn't know what she's doing and she knows it because after my 4 hour appointment was FINALLY over she said she didn't have time today to fix my nails and give me what I asked for but I could call her next week and she would fix for me. Yeah right! I think not! She literally sliced, burned, and made my fingers raw. Still almost 9 hours later my finger are in such excruciating pain. Go here at your own risk but I would advise against it. They take your money for services not rendered! If you don't know how to do dip powder nails and the process of it then please do not even try and let someone else give the customer what she asked for!! read more

Although the lady was sweet, they did not listen to what I wanted. The shape was wrong, color was not what I picked, and the design was off. Nails do not look like the photo I referenced, and I got cuts on my fingers. It might have been because it was later in the night, and maybe she was tired. read more

I usually go to the west side for my pedi/mani but I wanted to find a good place on the east side where I live. Looking over the reviews Helen's Nail has some good reviews, so I decided to try it out. I was not disappointed at all. Helen, the owner did my pedi / mani and she is exceptional . I have really cracked, dry heels and she left them smooth. She put on products I had not seen used in other salons . She brought new nail color products I had not seen yet in the salon I usually go on the Westside . It is a small salon , but the service is big. I highly recommend trying out the salon. Reading the past reviews, most except one, were mainly good reviews so I went to Helen Nails to give it a try. Right off the bat as I arrived ( I didn't make an appointment which was my bad) I was greeted with friendly smiles. They were pretty busy but I did not mind waiting. I only waited for about 45 mins which is not bad considering how busy it was that day. As Helen the owner was doing my nails, we had such a nice chat and the vibes/atmosphere was very pleasant and enjoyable. Helen was very kind and made me feel very comfortable. I was treated as if I was a regular, very polite but fun and goofy at the same time. I noticed that one review talked about the place not sterilizing their equipment and I take cleanliness very seriously so I kindly asked Helen about it and I am glad to inform everyone that they do very much clean and sterilize their tools and equipment! As I was getting my nails done, I did observe the place and it seemed very clean as well as the tools they used. Overall my visit was amazing and exceeded my expectations. Everyone was so nice and friendly. I'm very glad I gave this place a try as I will make Helen Nails my go to! read more

I did not appreciate the workers attitudes, they were in a rush and did sloppy work. I have crooked nails and when i asked about my nail length to be shorter, they complained and gave excuses. I will admit that these nails are very strong but, sloppy work.. i won't be coming back anymore. read more
