I've never had a business owner become so un-hinged over a simple request to change a color before any polish was done. I have going there for about 2 yrs minimum. Put up with the rude Asian owner. Went in to get my nails done on Saturday by Sunday the polish started lifting. On Monday it got worst and started lifting on another nail. Went in to change the polish because it seems to be a polish issue. Maybe too old. Anyways I explained to the Asian owner and he wA rude said he was going to charge me $25 for a color change. It hadn't been a day when it started lifting. I was going out of town the next day and needed to get it done. So i paid. Look Amy is nice but they are rude and don't listen. Plus they are way too plain. They don't do nail designs. Definitely needed a pedi/mani and I decided on Heaven Nails and Spa after reading all the great reviews. I called in first to see how long the wait was, and the friendly lady on the phone told me there was no wait to come on in. I arrived at 4pm and she already knew I was the one who called. She told me to sit for a bit while she finished up on the customer she was working on. I wait maybe three minutes or so and she calls me over. She did a great job on my gel manicure which took about 25 minutes. I then proceed to the pedicure chair and sit and wait. And wait. And wait. I waited about 20 minutes until finally I got my pedi started. I got the "regular" pedicure which is the basic one for $26. The employee doing my pedi was also friendly and everyone on the pedi chairs were offered mini water bottles by a different employee. It was 6pm by the time I was done. The place was very clean and the pedicure chairs are very comfortable. The decor is cute. I paid $30 for my gel mani which I though was overpriced since back home i pay $18 for the same thing. I just got my nails done here today, and I am pretty pleased with the outcome. The only issue I have is that there is glue or some substance all over my cuticles. I've tried to wash it off with soap but, it wont come off, hopefully it will after a shower. Acrylic nails cost $25, I paid an extra $5 because of my shape (coffin). I recommend making an appointment or it else you might have to wait in a long line or be asked to come back later. But, I am definitely coming back! read more

I came across this place after the place I was going to go to was "fully booked" even though there was only 1 person at the chair and no one else waiting but it was certainly worth having to go somewhere else. I walked in and was greeted by a very clean bright establishment. I was in a chair not even 2 minutes after walking in. My tech was so sweet and she has a great attitude and beautiful smile. Her service was the best I've ever had and my feet,toes and calves thanked me for finding this spot. She had such a light touch but firm and gave a great massage. Like my fellow Yelper Yolanda B, I also returned from a nine month deployment and was in dire need of TLC for the hands and feet. Nine months of roaming the sand in combat boots and extremely dry weather created the perfect recipe for dry skin. Our friend recommended we try Heaven Nails & Spa to remove those nine months of torture on our feet. Ms.Helen dubbed by me (aka Ms. Heavenly hands) listed the numerous options we could use to pamper ourselves. I requested the Lavender spa treatment ($50) I believe and leaned back in my massage chair for service. Helen was amazing and the water temperature was exactly what I needed after nine long months. Her hands were soft and she began to work those feet and begin the transformation. The spa treatment included hot massage stones, a paraffin dip and a gel packet that turned the water into a Lavender infused gelatinous liquid. As I wiggled my toes in the now jelly-like substance, my senses became alert as the lavender smell reached my nose. Once she started massaging my feet I believe I passed out because when I opened my eyes again she was already applying my nail color. My friend asked me how I liked my hot stone massage and I said, " I think I slept through the entire process". (The girl is Goooooddddd) All in all Helen gets 5 stars but unfortunately I cannot give the same rating on my manicure. After Helen's pedicure, I decided to opt for the Gel manicure and thought the gentleman applying my gel was rushed and a bit sloppy. There seemed to be a slight line and I hate that I suffered as the care I received from Helen was not provided with him. He completed the manicure and Yolanda B and I sat up front waiting for our friend while a vendor supplied sweet drinks to other customers. While pleased at the moment, I must say the $90 tab was a bit much and that did not include the tip. The salon's floor was not clean and I also agree with Yolanda.. it definitely took away from the décor. I am glad I waited to post my review because within 3 days my gel nails were already lifting (pics posted). If I was still in the El Paso area I would have definitely gone back to get them fixed. The sloppy manicure combined with the uncleanliness moved this rating to a 3 but I repeat Helen received a "5". I recommend Helen without a Doubt. read more

Would give this place 0 stars if I could. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. The boy that was doing my nails aggressively cut them all of just because I said I wanted them shorter. (I had told him previously but he told me to wait, that he'd make them shorter) But even though he told me he'd make them shorter, he got very aggressive, held my hands down and cut them all off, and just made me leave. I've noticed the person that was in charge never turns people away, but she does give them a time frame when to come back if there are people already waiting. They do get busy, so there is a bit of a wait. Also, they seemed to be short staffed? When I went in, there was only about 5 staff working and about 12 in the room getting their mani and pedi. I booked for 3 people and had the nail technician help us back and forth. I didn't mind, since I was there with my girls and conversing with the staff. Helen, our nail technician, was gentle and knew what she was doing. She was patient with us and helped us picked our colors and style. She took the time to get to know us and talked stories. Although, I could tell she was tired, she made sure our nails were good to go and didn't rush the process. The prices start low and depending how you want it and add ons, the cost goes up. If you're not sure of a style, bring in a picture of how you want your nails and they work with you and give an estimate. That's what I did. Lol. The surroundings was clean and calm. A huge THANK YOU to Laura and Sam for treating my MIL & I today. It was our first time there and I must say, it definitely won't be our last. Our pedicures were done perfectly and the spa was so relaxing. For our pedicure spa we chose the aloe jelly (really awesome, btw) & basically the whole experience was superb. We even had our chairs reclined while they massaged our feet, it was quite heavenly (no pun intended) My MIL told me that that was one of the BEST pedicure experiences she's had, & that means a lot since she's on vacation! Laura did my pedicure and she was the sweetest person ever! She definitely made my MIL and I feel so comfortable. And for Sam (I believe he's part owner), he was a triple threat. He not only did my MIL pedicure, but he helped a client with her manicure and then after helping her, came back and finished off my MIL pedicure spa with a massage. I was so pleased with how everything went. My last pedicure experience was VERY horrible. I was overcharged and the man doing my nails didn't listen to anything I said. He just kept adding things on and the next thing I knew, I had to pay an arm and a leg for nails I didn't like. This place is great! This is my first time going to a nail salon in Texas. First thing I did was went and checked out the bathroom. Usually that's a representation of how clean an establishment is. And it was spotless. I came in for a spa pedicure and Sam hooked me uuuuuuup! The whole process was a little over an hour and that's without polish. He pampered and did such a great job on my feet! I'm new to the El Paso area, and haven't gotten my nails done in over a year. I used to consistently get my nails done every two weeks for three years with my favorite tech, but since moving and having not been in a long time, I checked out several salons via Yelp for reviews. This salon did not disappoint! This salon is located off George Dieter and Vista del Sol, in the shopping plaza with Anytime Fitness. It's literally one of those hole in the wall salons that doesn't stand out by storefront alone, so you have to find it. It's on the smaller side of salons, size wise, but you can tell they take every opportunity to provide good services. Upon entering I was greeted by the owner, Nancy, who was wrapping up another clients nails. She was friendly and answered all my questions patiently, even when I took another 10 minutes to even decide what I wanted to do. There was only one other person in the salon when I was getting my nails done, and she was taken care of by two people for her mani/pedi. Nancy let me control the details of how I wanted my nails, checked every step of the way if I was uncomfortable, etc. She listened to my specific request for how I wanted my nails to look and took her time checking where I felt it was crooked or not even. I'm really happy there's no bubbles, uneven gel, or scratched cuticles. Price was similar to industry standard, I paid about $45 for a gel set including tip. I love the fact that she applied the gel to the very beginning of my nail, I've noticed that some nail techs tend to miss this and leave a space in between the gel and the part where your nail begins. I'm very happy with how my nails look and intend on coming back regularly. I'll update with a pedi review once done. This place used to be my go to. Maybe I was a little too excited when I first moved to el paso. I'm sitting here looking around and to this place is kind of nasty. Junky and there is stuff All over the place. They tried to pull off a classy ambiance..but it's not working. And the employees here just talk and talk about ... just nothing. And riddle me this...why line the tub with a plastic liner for sanitary purposes...and then pull it off...in the middle of a service with my feet still in the water. What the hell was the purpose of using the liner in the first place? I just have heebee-jee-bee thoughts in my head. Lord please don't let me catch an infection. I'm seriously done. I'm going to douse my feet with alcohol. I'm am too scared to criticize their sanitation process right now either or I'm going to lose it. Do not go to this place! I went in for a mani/pedi 2 days before my vacation trip and I was ok with the service I got, even if the guy cut my cuticle once (accidents happen, right?) Unfortunately, I didn't notice the employee had a wart on his left hand/palm until he was done with my pedi and moved on to the mani. To be honest this really grossed me out because he never wore gloves or anything. I tried my best to ignore it and was out of there. However, 2 days later I developed a nasty infection under my right big toenail which made my right toe swell from under the nail, required 14 days of antibiotics, and made me lose my nail. Heaven Nails was the first pedicure place I have been to since relocating to El Paso. They were amazing in almost all aspects. The techs took their time, I received the "Mint Pedicure" which was $36. The experience was great. My toenails were cute, filed and trimmed wonderfully. The massage was great, they even rub your back for a few minutes afterwards which was also nice. The only gripe I have is that gel polish was $15 extra. I am not sure if this is the norm in El Paso since I am new, but I have never paid an extra $15 for gel. So, $51 for a pedicure isn't entirely the best deal and I wouldn't necessarily say it was worth that much either. Updated: I have gone to a few other places and it looks like gel is more expensive here than where I have previously lived but I have also found other places that offer just as great of services for less. read more

After a nine month deployment, this was the perfect place to come to clean up the mess that had become my nails. I requested the lavender pedicure treatment and it was absolutely fabulous. It's a gel substance that they massage your feet with and it feels amazing. It's a bit pricey but certainly worth it. The treatment comes with a lavender massage, paraffin wax, hot stone massage, and more... All while you are reclined almost 90 degrees. Helen was the best! She did my manicure and it looks fantastic! She also helped with my pedicure. I actually took a pretty serious nap while in the chair. It was that relaxing! I'd highly recommend this spa! The only con was that the floor needs to be cleaned. The man who usually sits in the front was extremely rude I have never been treated so poorly before. I have an application that will detect the language and translate it to English. The things they said about me and basically the customers that were inside was horrific. They were talking about a woman's weight very disrespectfully. They spoke badly about me because They didn't have the color I wanted in gel only in regular. The man was rough with my hands and was talking about me and the customers so negatively. I will never return to this location. By far the worst place to come and get your nails done. I recommend if you come here please beware of the terrible customer service and the rude comments that they make about their customers. The app that I like using is called detect and it will detect the language and translated into English so you can listen for yourself.
