Have had a full set on plus a pedi from them for about 4 days now and you would think I haven't had them done in about 4-6 weeks. Came with my sister to get a mani and pedi after having a friend recommend Posh Nail Bar to us. When we went there was a short wait but the staff was super friendly and accommodating. I got the Tropical pedicure and the hot stone massage was the perfect touch. I'm not one for nail polish so I opted for a buff and shine. Everyone should be taming their nails and feet as no one should be walking around with busted hands/feet. Pricing was more than fair and it was a great chance for my sister and I to catch up. So I usually don't book appointments for nails because I never know when I'm gonna have some time available today I had free time and I just walked in to this place, they welcomed me and sat me to do my service in less than 5minutes. I liked this place because it looked clean and really modern and new, as I was getting my manicure I start noticing that more and more people start showing that's always good they have a good amount of clientele and it's obvious why; the staff is super friendly kind and polite, I've been in places where people is kindda rude and just very frowny NOT HERE! They were even getting some service done in a couple of little girls that were there with their mom (7-8 year olds). I can't get my long "Cardi B nails" done anymore but I was being nosy and checking on the person next to me and they were doing really good job; I just got a simple manicure and gel and it was nice and relaxing she even did a quick massage in my hands while putting lotion on them. Was hoping to find a clean, quality nail salon with skilled technicians near me to frequent but the quality of the work has come up short a few times now for the higher prices. There was a foul odor coming from the drainage area behind each pedicure chair. I noticed mold growing in the drains where the odor was coming from. Regular mani-pedi service, sure you can't go wrong. But for powder dip, turn around. The lady who did my nails, failed to apply the dip base binder prior to the color dip. And to top it off, she topped my nails with clear GEL top coat. Therefore, my nails did NOT last more than a week. At the 2 week mark? The coating just started chipping and peeling off. This salon also charges for everything. $5 for removing the previous color and $5 if you have long nails to shape. That is insane. My complaint is with the nail service I received. The pedicure process was fine, but my nails were cut way too short after I asked to leave the length. And I asked for a plain manicure with no polish, a square shape and round edges. I had to cut my nails once I got back to our hotel, since my nails were catching on blankets and pretty sharp. We had been there for quite some time waiting for our services, so I didn't want to sit around for someone to fix my nails. I will say that the nail tech I had (a young man) more than likely isn't qualified to work there. He seems to be asking the lady next to use what the next step was the entire time. Okay let me start off by saying that this is the first nail spot I've been to since I've moved to Texas and I was more than happy with my results. I walked in for 2 pedicure appointments on Saturday around noon, I then decided to add a full set and the gentleman up front asked if he could do my full set first and me and my fiancée can then do our pedicures after. I agreed and picked out my colored acrylic. He offered me a glass of Merlot that was honestly not bad at all considering I'm not even really a wine drinker, he shaped my nails exactly how I wanted and even told me about good food places in the area since I had just moved from California. He put me on to some popular Korean bbq places since I told him I had been searching for one, he then did my pedicure and the whole experience was just a 20/10! I've never been to a salon where they don't offer anything to drink. I got a lemon lime pedicure and Russian manicure. There were three lime wedges in there which seemed sparse. The nail tech was a bit rough with my feet when scrubbing. I liked how she painted my toe nails and the pedicure went quickly. She did a lovely job on my manicure, and overall I'm generally satisfied. I just don't feel that this was a five star experience. The vibe wasn't right. The level of service wasn't quite there.
