Having never gone through this before, it was important to me to have someone who I felt like I could trust and would give the information to me straight, and I found that in Hansel. Even when it became a larger project with more days than anticipated, they added on a 12 hour Saturday work day and put in all of the time it took to resolve the issue in my home. His prices were competitive, and he sent us a certificate of completion at the end.

As a result, the buyer was forced to obtain a second inspection, which uncovered approximately $20,000 in foundation damage and repairs. Due to the inspector's negligence, Huggs Inspection Company agreed to a settlement. However, after making only a few payments, the company stopped honoring the agreement. Mr. Huggs then stated, "Good luck collecting." Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. A home inspector's job is to identify major issues that could impact a buyer's decision, and in this case a costly foundation problem was missed.

The first message is very welcoming and they already tell you what packages they have with the prices and even extra services like termites and general pool inspection. No need for back and forth messaging asking for prices or your number for them to call. I checked their reviews and that's it, I decided I want their services. I messaged back and her reply is almost immediate at a very strange time. I think I messaged her late at night. I just copied and pasted their message to my agent and there, appointment is set. We chose the platinum so the sewer inspection will be included and additional pool and termites. During the inspections, the 2 inspectors came on time. Home inspections took about 2 and a half hours which is really good coz it means they check every detail. They delivered the findings verbally and the written report was sent to my agent and me the next day. I don't even know how to share to you the result because there's a lot. Just trust Home Inspection experts. They got you covered. I recommend this company 100%.

The roof report incorrectly identified my metal roof as shingles, even though I specifically told the representative it was a metal roof when booking and asked whether I needed a drone inspection. The solar panel inspection was also missing, even though I paid extra and I still have not received my advanced imaging results after 2 weeks. The sewer inspection could not be completed due to excessive roots. I was told that the Master Inspector will do inspection if I purchase advanced structural imaging. When I asked the inspector if he was the master inspector, he had no idea what I was speaking about. He said he was certified inspector. When I called to resolve these issues, Bency was rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful. I was referred to Jason, the inspection manager, and left multiple messages, but no one returned my calls. I was also promised follow-up by Nathan, who was kind and listened to my concerns, but no one ever contacted me afterward. We had to remove a few leftover, abandoned asbestos pipes in our crawlspace and hired Magnolia for a survey report. Since hiring an industrial hygienist isn't something an average person go about doing regularly, she was able to explain the process to us clearly and patiently. We ran into issues with the abatement company during the process and Andrea personally made sure everything went smoothly, and even covered the cost of the additional abatement. We are so happy that we found a company that goes above and beyond, especially during covid where everything is so much more limiting.
