My guess is that those who have had negative experiences are people whose phones' damage is more extensive than mine was (i.e. it's not an easy or quick fix) and those who live far away and can't bring it in, in person. Based on the reviews here, I probably wouldn't have sent my phone in but because I live only an hour away, I decided to take a chance and drive it up. I wasn't able to find a more affordable repair anywhere else and I think the work done was quality, and it was certainly expedient. I did see that he had a LOT of work in front of him and I would say that, rather than assuming he's dishonest or scamming like reviews here suggest, he probably has taken on quite a bit more work than he can handle in a short period of time. Give him a break!

I tried calling and emailing a few times in those months with no response, so I emailed and showed them my Yelp review after which they were quick to correspond. They said they looked everywhere and never received it, though I used the courtesy postage paid slip they emailed for me to print and place on the package. To salvage my experience they attempted to send me a replacement iPod free of charge, and explained that they're very busy sometimes so it's hard to get back to people. As it stands I just filed an insurance claim to the post office, because I got a notice that I missed when they tried to deliver it once. I brought the notice to the post office, they searched for it and couldn't find it. So close -__- Wayne, who works for this business was sure to insure the package, so he emailed me the costs, article number, etc. As much as I hate to bash a small, local business, I'm concerned about the same thing happening to others. They did try to send me an iPod free of charge though, so I can't complain about that. The only thing I'd suggest is to not mail in your damaged iPod/iPhone, etc.

Thankfully I bought it on a premium credit card with an extended warranty benefit so decided to go through with it. LG's site pointed me towards Linet to attempt a repair. Alex was very helpful in trying to diagnose and explain the problem. Ultimately a replacement board didn't work out, so the most likely fix per Alex's experience was a very expensive panel replacement, at which point a new TV made more sense. Even still, Alex was very helpful with my extended warranty claim process which required documentation. Alex was experienced with this process and even advised me on how to get through it more quickly by telling insurance to call him for additional information they were seeking. Got my claim fully paid out shortly thereafter. Thanks again, Alex!

Well the screen got progressively worse and worse over the course of a year and eventually my screen would go completely black from time to time and not start working again for hours. This during the holidays so I absolutely couldn't afford a new phone now. So I ordered a new screen for this unusual and older phone on Amazon and brought it to this shop. My phone turned out to be a bit special needs and took a little extra time but I was back up and running about an hour later.
