Terrible experience. I don't recommend this place. About a month ago I came here to get a pedicure. The price is higher than other places, but I was okay with that because I initially liked the service. However, when I went to pay, the woman who did my nails seemed upset about the tip. I said thank you and bye she didn't reply. I decided to give the salon another chance because it's close by. Unfortunately, this time the pedicure was poorly done. The corners of my toenails were not properly cleaned or cut, and there is still nail polish on my skin, and my nails hurts. Now I need to spend money again going to another place to fix it. I don't know the name of the technician who worked on me, but If I could give I advice don't go to this place. Overall, based on my experience, I would not recommend this place

she didn't even wipe it all off

couldn't complete the service I wanted sighed at every step was not relaxing at all explain to me how I had to speak Spanish to communicate that's why there was issues just paid 79 for a plain set because they tried to give me different options but i didn't like any i could tell the tech was annoyed so i just said it's fine but i truly hated it so i told them to wipe it off and they said they were still charging me for french they even asked the client next to me if she heard my tech sigh and I thought that was very unprofessional. The client that was there is also the only client that can write a review on the booking site. This is very upsetting to me because I wanted to tell all my friends about this place. I live in the area so I thought it would be a nice new place for me but it turns out it's definitely not and I'm not welcome here.! please refrain from going here if you don't speak Spanish!

Lifting of nail

ANTI BLACK ESTABLISHMENT I was treated as my dollars count for nothing and they have been conditioned to treat black women with disregard and disdain. I was spoken to in a demeaning manner. I have every right to be treated with respect as a consumer and this establishment does not do this with black women. Went in and requested the "manager" (whom I believe is the owner, but was told she is not although in the past she told me she is) and was handed off to another tech because she said she does not do UV gel, I was fine with that. I asked if I could get a soak off and overlay as I wanted to preserve my actual nail. I was told that they could not do that with UV gel and that she could file down and put new gel on top. Two days later I notice my nail is lifting and proceed to call on the fourth day to see if I could get a touch up was told by the "manager" that I needed to wait till the young lady came back next week, I let her know that I was going out of town and couldn't do that she went on to tell me that I had to wait till the girl comes back. There was no customer service only or solution offered just a snide remark of, were you not happy when you left. I asked her to cancel my next appointment and she then proceeds to hang up in my face. First of all this is not my first time at the establishment and I've had apprehensions about getting services done here, as in the past I felt that I was treated indifferent being a black woman and not of Hispanic/Latina descent but my first experience was so good I tried to overlook it. Secondly it is not of good business practice to be so rude and not offer any solution.

Manicure in pretty good condition after 5 days

Atmosphere is great, girls could be a bit more thorough and trained, massage was non existent and I had paint left on my fingers and hands where they could have easily removed it

Great gel manicure for the new year!

This was my second time going to Evy nails and I have decided to write about them because my experience has been so great. I have now had Joseline do my nails twice and she is GREAT! Very personable, great conversation and great nail advice. I was looking for red nails for the new year and wanted sparkles, but when I told her my idea she said red with sparkle on top would look like a little girls nails. She advised that I get just one sparkle nail instead. The gel manicure (though it was a bit of a wait because they were short staff) was fast (25 mins) and perfect! I'm so happy with my nails and having just moved to the area I'm really excited to my Evy my go to nail place. Their color selection is great and their place is clean. If you haven't been already you should go!

Got my first full set here and I love this place! The atmosphere is really nice & they have lots of colors to choose from. Evy was amazing , my nails are so clean and perfect I'm definitely coming back again!

Cindy does exactly what I ask for. Thank You all for such great work.

I have been going for years to Evy Nails I absolutely love that what I ask for they are willing to do. Go with time because some times there is a wait but it is well worth the wait.

My toe nails are all not straight. I do not understand why they were either cut or filed this way but it looks absolutely awful!

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!! I got my nails done in here today and I was not pleased. First for the pedicure, my water was SCALDING and left my feet red. They did not cut my nails straight either. When I got to my manicure I felt as though I was being pushed out of the salon. I showed my technician a picture of the nails I wanted and after seeing how detailed hers were I felt confident that I would receive a similar outcome. Much to my surprise, my nails turned out horrible and she did not ask me till they were done if I liked them. At this point I had wasted so much time in the salon that I did not want to sit there any longer. The whole thing was a ridiculous price and later in the day I had to match a color to the nails to cover up the brutality that was left by the technician. This was my second time going to Evys and I remember the first time was not as bad. Horrible job, I am sad I wasted so much money in here today and my nails look like absolute trash and if I allowed my customer to go out with those nails, I would be embarrassed! UPDATE: Evelyn reached out to me and gave me a phone number to text a picture of my nails to so that we could resolve the situation. After I texted her the picture she blocked me from messaging her on yelp. I then proceeded to call her, she answered my call but would not answer my text even though she told me to text her. This whole situation has been a flabbergasting experience and I hope that no one has to suffer through the time and pain this salon has made me suffer through. Their customer service is atrocious. When a customer complains you cannot just block their complaints and try to bribe them to take off their yelp comment. This is my honest and constructive criticism of Evy Nails and I am truly sorry that I had such a negative experience from them.

Weird smell in this place, but the girl-to-guy ratio is so solid that it totally makes up for it ;)

The pedicure room was by itself (not out in the open like at a regular salon). It was private, smelled good, and the cute blue velvet chair with pillows was so comfortable!! She took her time, and we talked the WHOLE entire time. She made sure to ask if everything was ok several times during the process. Sabrina educated me on so many things about "regular" nail salons hence the reason why I will never go back to a regular salon. I couldn't get my nails done bc of a bad experience at another "regular" nail salon, but I will be back asap to get my nails and toes done there. Felicia, the owner also made sure I was ok during the appointment. She came in the room to make sure everything was going ok and asked if I needed a snack during the pedicure. When I left all of us just laughed bc my face was just so aghast at what I learned! You must go to find out what you didn't know about the other nail salons. Your mind will be changed forever!! Can't wait to make my next appointment

My DH bought me a certificate for Christmas as they had such a vast array of services and it was a…read moreday spa. I called several days ahead of time and had planned out what services were going to make the most out of my certificate. 60 minute massage, 60 minute facial and organic pedicure - about 35 minutes. When I arrived I found the spa to be very open and airy. It looked neat and there was no one waiting in the waiting area near the check in desk. The attendant at the desk seen my time scheduled in the book, but there seemed to be no rhyme or reason as to which service I was to have first and it took a few minutes of her leading me towards different areas of the salon before they settled on me getting my pedi first. I guess I kinda wanted a definite plan that the right people were scheduled for my services desired...so I wasn't sure what to expect. Pedicure- "Organic Spa Pedicure" the nail tech wore proper protection and the instruments were sterilized and in their sealed bags. She did a very good job picking out the toes which had ingrown cuticles or built up skin and was very careful and skillful cleaning them up. Being on my feet 8-10 hours a day I have bad calluses and she did a good job taking off enough and not leaving me sore. The leg and foot massage could have been more intense, but that's just my preference. She followed up with a short pass with the hot stone - could've also been longer. All in all it was about 35 minutes. There was a great variety of polishes: Essie, UPI and some nonbrand and more Walgreen variety. If you're going to have TVs and 3/4 of your clientele are women, put HGTV, Bravo or something on...it was on Taken and then Transformers..just saying. Facial - "Deep Cleansing" 60 minute facial. In a room near the front of the salon. The woman doing my facial was quiet and gave direction when needed. She did a number of passes over my face, took out blackheads and applied a mask. While it was drying she gave me a nice arm and hand massage which wasn't in the description so it was a nice touch! After the mask dried, she pealed it off, wiped my face and put a light lotion and spritz over my face. THIS WAS MY FAVORITE SERVICE! I didn't see what brand of skin products she was using. Massage - Normally - at the day spas and massage therapists I've went to - they have you fill out a release form which had a body so you could circle areas to avoid or areas of specific tenderness. Also, usually the masseuse/therapist will introduce themselves take you to the room where relaxing music is playing and set some ground rules. How naked ya want to be, where the bathroom is, and how deep ya want your massage to be. There was NONE of that. I got the feeling that they guy drew the short straw. He seemed to not really care and barely spoke to me, led me to the room and told me to get on the table face down. I decided to do the 30 minute massage as I didn't know how this was going to be. He didn't lay down any of those ground rules so I left everything on. I don't think he was certified as a massage therapist and didn't see any certificates. It was more like a decent back rub. Overall, i didn't get the day spa vibe. Not quiet enough, theyskipped the relaxing aspect of the music, essential oil use in the facial and massage rooms and overall feel. More like a good nail salon. Go there for nails or facial - skip the "massage".

Got my nails done there and they all broke apart the next day, service stunk and it was expensive!read more

I've been getting soak-off gel manicures for many years and never have I had someone remove all of the soak-off gel with an electric nail file (no soak). Not only that but they prime the cuticle for cutting with the electric file as well with no oil or pre-soak. Every time I've gotten my nails done here my nails split down the side, which I've never had happen before, and have major "ring of fire" lines post-removal due to the excessive filing of the nail bed. I've gone here several times since I've moved to the area hoping that it was just an "off visit" - but each time I'm met with the same service and after effect. Again, the employees are lovely but unfortunately, my nails can't withstand the damage inflicted.

I have been here times in 3 months and normally a spanish lady does them. They do a nice job and take their time. But today I had "KIKI"...WHEN the lady told her to take me she laughed like she didn't want to. I didn't trip. There weren't many people there. I was seated next to a lady getting a full pedicure gel polish and all. When I sat down, the tech had just started painting her feet. When I was done she was still under the UV light. Kiki ran through my service like it was a race. She won and lost at the same time. Nah im good...she may be the best at her job but her service was not for me. $38 Pedicure, $20 tip not because she was good, but because I'm a decent person.
