These guys are great. I needed a NEMA 14-50 (240volt) socket installed in my garage and my HVAC guy, who I like, recommended them. Jason's estimate was close to that of others, and he and Clifford came out today. They first did a load-calculation to ensure the house could handle the new 14-50 socket (it could). He then saw that my breaker box didn't have an available 50amp circuit -- but he was able to do some changes (legitimate, up-to-code) to accommodate. He also corrected several mislabeled markings that show what each breaker controls (oven, MBR lights, etc.). Clifford noticed that a previous electrician had switched some wires in the circuit box, apparently rather than trying to figure out which socket in the house had reversed polarity. Without too much trouble, Jason located and fixed the miswired socket in the bedroom, then corrected the wires at the panel. Clifford added some anti-corrosion stuff to some wire ends, as the previous electrician should have. And Jason fixed two existing sockets in the house that were not properly grounded. Altogether the guys spent a lot more time and effort than anticipated, got me all fixed up, and were patient, friendly, and great to deal with. They really know what they're doing, are fairly priced, and very nice fellows, to boot. I am now able to say, "Well, my electrician..." read more

Had a ceiling fan with support mount installed. Also had a single pole switch in a bathroom that was controlling the bathroom light and fan simultaneously changed to a single pole dual switch so that they could be controlled individually. Of the two jobs, I assumed the fan installation would be the hardest. Turns out the wiring for the bathroom really showed its age when Jason got into it. Took a few hours to get it all done, but everything is working perfectly and the installation was clean. Well worth the little extra money to not only get it done the way i wanted, but to get the job done right. Great job! read more

My mom had lined-up a different electrician (Green Electic Solutions) who wanted us to spend $2200 (which was originally $2600; but with 'disounts' it came to $2200) to replace bussing, the main, and breakers as well as trace out circuit to find loose connection/minor repar. Jason (my new hero) came over and saved the day. He figured out how to utilize the good areas of the bussing, he replaced the bad breakers AND traced out the circuit to find loose connection for only $165. What a guy. Jason is a CA licensed electrician and was previously Qualcomm's own facilities electrician. Apart from knowing the electrical codes, he also is a stickler to it which is great - no cutting corners. They did it again!!....Provided excellent service at a reasonable price and their work is impeccable! In Oct 2019, we hired them to replace 3 flourescent ballasts in the kitchen and convert them to LED. Also converted the light over the stove top range to LED. I think I called about six electricians before reaching Jason. He squeezed me in his busy schedule THE NEXT DAY, he came over to the house at 7:00 am. . . . that right there shows hustle and desire! Our lighting problems stemmed from a ceiling fan/light that had been improperly installed. Jason and his helper spent time in the attic replacing junction boxes and bracing the fixture. Jason was here 3 and a half hours!! He even replaced a faulty dimmer switch in the entry way and added a four toggle light switch. I thought Jason charged a very fair price, $375. for all his work :0] The best part is that we have lights to cook by and we don't have to use candlelight for Christmas dinner. Just wanted to note that I created a YELP account just to share my experience with Evolution Electric. I contacted different electricians to get an estimate for installing 5 security lights and camera for my house. However, when I contacted Evolution Electric, I was able to obtain a fair estimate for the work. Jason, who owns the company, is very knowledgeable, honest, hard-worker, professional, and has a great team. All are very detailed oriented. Hence, they don't leave the job unless its perfect (100%). Throughout the work, there were many obstacles (inaccessible areas, bad job done by previous electricians). Jason and his team took the time to clean the preexisting issues (no cutting corners) to get the job done perfectly. Examples for paying attention to detail: When I first contacted him, I wanted all wires to be routed through the outside wall of the house. However, Jason suggested to do a cleaner job by routing the wires from the inside. in addition, he suggested to clean and get rid-off all the wires that cable companies mount from the outside of the house (on the stucco) and instead route them from inside for a very low price!!!! I love my house now, you don't see any wires. In addition, the work required him to make a hole in the wall to fish the wires, Jason asked me if I would rather have a professional to cover the hole. However, I insisted that he does it. He agreed to do it with NO additional charges!!!! I have been looking for a great, knowledgeable and fair electrician for a while now. I called Evolution Electric to install security cameras in my house after viewing several happy customers' on yelp. Jason was very punctual, and got right to work. They had a large job due to very thick layers and tight spaces in my attic, but they knocked it out with no problem. They were very respectful of our house, always making sure that everything was quickly vacuumed so no insulation got on the floor. Also, there were a couple of things that I didn't have to do the installation, and they went out of their way to get them on their lunch without any mark up. Besides the fact of their respectfulness in our house, and the great job they did getting everything installed, their price was quite simply unbeatable.
