We assumed they'd give us store credit without a receipt. Both items had their tags on. The store said they'd take the items back but take off 20% value for not having a receipt. They're getting their item back in perfect unused shape and want to take extra money from you for an accident? You can find better stores that will build better loyalty without ripping its customers off.

This winter break, I found a gorgeous sequined Bills jacket (blue base, red sleeves) priced at $217. They were offering 25% off Bills gear at the time, but I wanted to think it over before making the purchase. Laux had the same with colors reversed for $115 but I prefer the jacket to be more of the blue than red. *The one pictured is the Laux one. Unfortunately, due to a flight issue, I wasn't able to return to the store as planned before leaving town. On January 2nd, I emailed the store explaining the situation and inquiring about having the jacket shipped. I received no response. I sent a follow-up email and again got no reply. I finally called the store to explain what happened and asked if they would honor the sale price since I had tried contacting them earlier. The woman said that they don't ship if it's not listed in the website, which is fair.I even mentioned I have a relative who could pick it up for me. The response? They wouldn't honor the sale price as the sale is over. I understand policies, but the lack of response to my emails and unwillingness to assist a repeat customer felt like poor customer service as I attempted to get in contact with them during the sale. I've always enjoyed shopping here, but this experience has left questioning if I will be back or recommend it to others.

There were many items that caught my eye and I had to wrangle myself in. I purchased a pair of earrings and two pairs of socks. I got some Christmas shopping done. And by guys I mean, little plastic toys that my friend likes to call "whirly gigs." They have whirly gigs! They have whirly gigs! Are they even called that by anyone else? Do I care? All these questions and more will be answered - no, they won't. I absolutely adore this place! Their chocolate is delicious, homemade and cheap, and they sell the little whirly gigs out front in the summer! How adorable is that! :) The place is full of adorable animals and dolls and trinkets! Wow :) They have like, a different room for every type of thing they sell, and there are several rooms. Miniature stuff. Toys. Trinkets. And lots and lots of delicious chocolates. I had shopped half of the store when I needed to use the restroom. I asked to use theirs but was told no. I asked again as it was an emergency, and was told I had to go up the street. I spent 1000s of dollars in your store and was told again to go up the street. (I'm almost 80 years old). My friend who also shops there frequently had a similar experience with rude staff and has decided to not shop there anymore. Emma was the staff member I consulted with. I'm disappointed and sad to report I won't be back.
