Food was amazing. Mayra the manager was amazing. What they do for the community is beyond amazing. Everytable offers healthy food choices at an affordable price, and their pay it forward program says a lot about the company. you can purchase a meal for someone for about $6.50, and they will post it on their wall in their store. Anyone can come in and take a free meal, no questions asked. They genuinely care about the people in their community. They now have "smart fridges' in various locations offering healthy food choices, at a affordable price, where fast food or vending machines are typically the only options. Good for you, Everytable, for knowing what your community needs, and giving it to them. read more

I wouldn't go as far as saying I'm a fan, but 3 stars doesn't seem to be fair to give for this place. It's a healthy and efficient college style convenient store. They sell packaged food with instructions and offer microwaves in the store. It's cool that I can choose to heat it up right away or bring it home and still eat it pipping hot. But I think the meals here are really big hit and misses as the "menu" changes based on what they have that day and the timing of the visit. I personally would hesitate to come back for that reason, and so far I think only the curry chicken bowl was really tasty. But I recognize that a big part of that is personal preference with most of the ingredients and flavors that they use. They do have nutrition labels on the meals so it's great for people who are counting calories and need nutrition breakdowns! read more

Today was my first time finding this place and it did not disappoint! Ray greeted me with a beautiful smile and a welcoming tone... she stepped around the counter and introduced me about the company and where they stand with quality food. She was extremely informative about everything from the chips to the entrees along with the beverages they serve. She was extremely helpful! I'm definitely looking forward to come back again for the food and the service! Thank you for the experience Ray! read more

Extremely limited selection if you want hot food and don't eat meat. Nothing like what is advertised on their online menu. Most likely won't be back. Too extremely difficult to find parking at this location. A new one is opening up in the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza on Crenshaw Blvd. Hopefully it'll have a better selection. At least it won't have the same difficulty with parking. read more

As a doctoral student at USC, this was my go-to place for something quick and healthy! I had no time to cook during the week, so I would grab multiple meals to go and eat them throughout the week! Such a great concept and the food is very tasty. I recommended this spot to many other students nearby. :) read more

I got this for my son that lives in LA. He loves it. Works different hours at work and it's nice to have a fresh lunch or dinner that is heathy and fast and easy. Different menu every week read more

I came in today hoping to get a great meal considering how cheap it is. Boy, was I wrong....I got the Jamaican Jerk Chicken and Chocolate pudding....here are my thoughts: Jamaican Jerk Chicken: The chicken itself was ok but the beans were terrible. I like the idea of plantains but if this is a hot plate why include a salad as a side inside it? You're bound to heat it up. Chocolate pudding: BITTER. The ingredients are avocado, banana, and chocolate. I suppose the minimal sweetness is derived from the banana but it's not enough. They could at least add some sort of alternative sugar such as agave? Please fix this!! read more

My aunt and I stopped for a coffee while waiting for our ride. We were told that the espresso machine was being cleaned and we had to wait. The worker said the brewed coffee was decent so we got two instead. It was pretty old tasting and turns out it was only brewed once in the morning. We were there at 4.30. The coffee was terrible and cold so I said I would pay the difference for my aunt to have a latte. I persevered with the stale cold coffee. Later They told us the machine was ready and as she hadn't drunk any of her coffee, after they microwaved it (it was undrinkable.) She went in to exchange it and the server tried to charge her another 4.50 and ignored her saying she couldn't drink the original. He refused to exchange it and apparently doesn't seem to understand the value of decent customer service as I felt compelled to share this review. I said ok, please brew us a fresh one for what we paid. He said no. I felt it was so petty and we did not enjoy what we paid for. I hope it was worth the negative review for a couple of dollars. If she wasn't so polite and we had to leave I would have asked for our money back. read more

Their concept alone gets 5-stars! Even their name is cool. I love their mission statement: Making fresh, healthy food accessible and affordable to everybody, everywhere. Hence, Everytable! They make their food daily offsite, from scratch, using organic (when possible) and locally sourced ingredients. Whatever they don't sell that day is donated to local homeless shelters. That means you will never get day-old packaged meals here. EVER. It's like TJ's, but better. You don't have to eat shitty food just because you're making minimum wage, and being the 1% doesn't mean you should be forced to pay $12+ for a fancy salad either. For less than $30, we stuffed our faces silly with healthy shit and still had meals leftover for lunch and dinner. To the reviewers who left 2-stars and complained that the food tasted bland: You've been eating far too much Chipotle or Taco Bell to think that rice needs to be salted to be edible. Salt is a flavor enhancer. Just because something lacks it doesn't automatically make it "bland". Maybe it's time to desensitize those tastebuds and familiarize yourself with different flavors other than salt. I've tried almost everything on the menu and have no complaints. Everything tasted fresh, real, and wholesome. Sure, some of the dishes could use a pinch or two of salt, but that's the beauty of this place. They've designed their menu so that it appeals to almost everybody, even those with dietary restrictions or are watching their sodium intake. If you really must, you can salt to your heart's content (they have salt and pepper packets) or just eat as is. Personal faves: Pozole Vietnamese Chicken Salad Spicy Mexi-Cali Bowl Puebla Chicken Tinga read more

Fresh, affordable, fast, healthy meals made from scratch priced between $3-6. That is unbeatable. Everytable is built on a revolutionary concept, which is bringing healthy and affordable food to the community, so meals are at a discounted priced according to the neighborhood. Meals are made from scratch and delivered fresh daily. This location is in South Central near USC, so meal prices here are among the lowest in LA. Getting your meal is quick and easy--you grab a freshly packaged meal from the refrigerator and pay at the counter. There are microwaves available for you to heat up your meal and enjoy immediately, or you stock up and take them home to enjoy throughout the week. Some of these healthy and delicious meals that are my favorite include- - Cajun blackened fish w/ collard greens & sweet potato mash - Jamaican jerk chicken w/ rice, beans, plantains - Spaghetti squash & turkey quinoa meatballs - Cashew pesto salad These are just a few out of the huge selection of meals they have which include a variety of salad/grain bowls, hot meals, and kids meals. Everything is flavorful and sooo tasty, and has a great nutritional profile. I highly recommend everyone to try this place. The service is always great and helpful. At $5 per meal, what's stopping you from coming? read more

Yelp 2017 100 Challenge: 2017 Review 25/100 A great place to find healthy food at an affordable price! I ran into the 23rd Street grand opening of Everytable today. There was organized chaos which caught my attention. The owner, Mr. Polk, was there and handed me the jerk chicken bowl while explaining the concept. My expectations were not too high feeling the mass production could not be flavorful ... BUT, to my surprise the chicken was tender and very tasteful, if you like it spicy then you'll enjoy this bowl. I was pleasantly surprised and only wished the plantins were baked longer or caramelized. Just be sure to ask for salt and pepper packets for the rice and beans. This is a great idea for single folks who waste an awful lot of food and money eating alone. Perfect for stocking up for 3 days in your refrigerator (instead of frozen dinners). read more

Im so happy i found this place. The person head of this company has done a brilliant job. Everything was exactly the same from the pictures i found on yelp. The quality of food is too good to be true for an amazing value. They include the calories amount and fat content which helps make my life so much easier. Anyways, I got the super coffee with white chocolate peppermint, homegirl salmon, veggie egg bites, superfood cookie and curry lentil soup which I love all equally. This place is beyond great and I highly recommend for any person on the go especially for college students like me. read more

Plain and simple this is a genius idea. The food is tasty (I love the Pozole and the California Cobb Salad!), nutritious, and affordable. This place is doing amazing work for our community and makes it easy for even the busiest people to eat a balanced and nutritious diet. My only wish was that there were more locations and more choices because I want to eat it every day of the week for every meal! Seriously it's like the meal planning services that normally cost $30 a day for a third of that and with a whole heap of feel-good-help-your-community vibes piled on top! PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS! WE NEED MORE EVERYTABLE EVERYWHERE! read more

Tasty, out the bowl, but junk food eater might find it bland. Still an excellent, delightful base - just add a pinch of salt. I'll probably lose wait eating here. Portion sizes are as they should be, which means nothing left over. But you should feel full. If not, add a kids meal for $3. Its like getting an appetizer before the main course - for LESS THAN $8! What!? For a 2-course meal, you say? Yes! So, grab a friend & go try it. You can microwave it & eat it at one if the cute little wooden tables, or grab it & go. Feeding 2 people & a kid (cause they arent people) - I gave her $15 and she gave me change. And not just coins, there were bill too! You should be on your way there by now, but if u r still reading u should know the back story. They want to bring healthy eating to all neighborhoods, but the price will be based on what each neighborhood can afford. So, the same menu, is twice as much downtown. You better stop by this one on the way to work! Lol read more

Support this place. Do it. Give them all of your money (not that they ask for much). I wish every neighborhood could have an Everytable. I'm stunned not only at the taste and quality of every meal but at the mission behind this business. The absolute and complete lack of fast, healthy food in this neighborhood is a really big problem. To see a company step up and address that in such an optimistic and effective way is inspiring. I will certainly be a regular here and I really hope many others will be as well! So happy to know you, Everytable. :) read more

Everytable - It's the spot every single time after bball.. cheers!!! - Salad Near Me - Inglewood, California

There's a lot of hype surrounding this place...much of it based around some strange stereotypes about an area that people clearly don't know. So, I'll clear up some silliness: 1) Food Desert: This area is NOT a food desert. It's got a Ralph's on Vermont. There are numerous bodegas all over the place. In fact, there is a Latino market AND a health food store right next door to this take-away restaurant. I feel this Food Desert talk is based around ignorance and a bit of racism. 2) Poverty: This area is not really that poor. Yes, there are Mexicans and Blacks. But they occupy a wide range of socioeconomic gradations. My best friend's grandmother owns her house around the corner. It's worth well over a million dollars. Why? Because there are also grad students from USC who live there. My other friend just bought a building a block away, and it's now worth 1.9 million dollars. The area is part of the USC expansion zone...so, yes, there are poor people and a shit ton of upwardly mobile international students getting masters and doctorate degrees. That said, this is cheap food. It's based upon ethnic foods. I bought two bowls for the next day's lunch: 8 bucks. But I'm not poor. When I left, a big black Mercedes pulled up. I just don't think the poor people of color will buy this. The food is ethnic inspired but won't have the funk and quantity that working class people expect. They're mostly grains...and that's just not what poor folks are looking for. My guess is this will be a USC grad student staple and another attraction in the gentrification of the area. I'm regularly on the USC campus, so if I forget my lunch, I'll swing by and grab a bowl... read more

Everytable - Healthy lunch options! - Salad Near Me - Inglewood, California

Based on the PR, I really wanted to like this place, but found it disappointing. The prices are fine, ingredients seem OK, but you're still buying a refrigerated meal (made who-knows-when) that you heat up in a microwave. That's it. In short, it's the same system employed at every Family Mart and 7-Eleven in Japan. (The late Fresh & Easy offered much the same here in the States.) I mean, there's nothing wrong with this, but personally I think a salad and/or frozen entree from Trader Joe's results in a quick/cheap meal which tastes better. So...next time I'm in that neighborhood, I'll be heading back to Bacaro at Happy Hour for some fresh, hot tapas and cool sangria. :) read more

Wound up here, a short distance from home, after watching the reformed Wall Street founder on PBS (http://www.pbs.org/newshour/bb/wall-street-millionaire-bringing-healthy-food-need/). Pros: "Healthy," cheap, nice atmosphere (I was the only one eating there save for the VP of Marketing doing an interview), cool branding and concept, really nice employees. The Tom's shoes of "fast food?" Cons: For "healthy" food, it tastes okay, but it's still healthy food. Had the Puebla Chicken Tinga, which had a decent spice -- the chicken itself is good. Beans, grain blend, and veggies can only taste so good, though, but choked it all down. 2 for $3 McDoubles taste better, don't require microwaving, and have more calories (chicken bowl was something like 430 calories, rendering me hungry in a couple of hours). For the price, I suppose you could buy two. Will likely be a hit in DTLA with my privileged ilk at twice the price. If you want to be full, look elsewhere. If you want something really tasty... look elsewhere. If you want something healthy for four bucks and change, not a bad bet. read more

Love the whole concept of Everytable and how their menu is priced depending on where the restaurant is located. I don't like how you need to microwave the warm bowls. Been avoiding microwaves in general, but the cold salads are great. read more

$4.50 per bowl and I *thought* it was such a small portion of food but in fact it's all very filling. I'm a fan. Easy in, grab a bowl, easy out. Quick, healthy and so convenient for someone who is working late and has NO time to cook but still wants something that is not fast food. read more

This was my first time going to Everytable and I keep asking myself, "WHAT TOOK ME SO LONG?!" Everything about this restaurant, the concept, the service, the food, was amazing! Everytable is a restaurant that sets the prices of their dishes depending on the living cost of the area that the restaurant is located. I bought 2 meals for only about $8.00. You do have to microwave your meals, but I wouldn't mind doing that, if I got to eat Everytable food every day!! If you've never been, get in your car and head there now! read more

I came in to Everytable after hearing about their incredible mission to help serve healthy and affordable food to Angelenos, regardless of income level. I left more than thrilled. Because of the extremely appealing price tag of $3.95 per meal, I ordered the cajun blackened fish, the vietnamese chicken salad and a fresh juice. Both meals were gluten-free and labeled accordingly. Everything totaled under $10! The food was fresh and delicious. The staff was friendly. The physical set-up makes perfect sense- just grab and go! The business model is inspiring and I hope that more restaurants will see the success of Everytable and begin to follow suit. 10/10 read more

Everytable starts with a positive message and desire to bring healthy, locally sourced foods to low income communities. I happened to stop by to Everytable on my way to a meeting at USC, just looking for some quick healthy options. Walking into their little shop, I was pleasantly surprised by the wall fully stocked of healthy food options in the $5-$8 range, all marked with labels of the macro nutrients and each one sounding just as tasty as the next. I couldn't help but take them up on their 10% off 3 meals deal for the simple fact that it *felt* good to eat healthy, keep a budget and still support a local business that wanted to make LA better. So lets get down to the food - I ended up picking the blackened fish with sweet potatoes and greens. The fish was surprisingly moist considering you heat up the meals before eating. The flavor was great and the portion, though it looked conservative was filling and kept me full til dinner. I also picked up the curry chicken which I enjoyed at work the next day. Again, the flavor of the curry sauce was great and the cook on the chicken was better than I've had at most restaurants. Lastly, I picked up the chicken tinga, but gave it to a brother in law to enjoy though I wouldn't doubt that it would be just as good as everything else I'd had. I hope their business model spreads and inspires. Hoping they'll open a location near my work in the UCLA area, but I'll definitely make sure to stop by whenever I'm near one. read more

Delicious dishes made with quality healthy ingredients for less than $5. This is probably the best food you can get in LA for that price. They have salads and bowls with a good mixture of healthy carbs(brown rice or quinoa) and protein such as Jamaican jerk chicken, salmon, and carnitas. Also their mission and business model is both inspiring and genius. So this is another reason why I keep coming back. read more

Can't believe this place has been open for 4 months, and I've never seen it! This place is perfect for anyone who loves eating healthy for CHEAP. I know it sounds like an oxymoron, but it's true. It reminds me of meals that I prepare at home. We tried the Vietnamese Chicken Salad (tastes just like vermicelli), the Cajun Blackened Fish (great seasoning), and the Chicken Tinga (like comfort food from the crock pot) - and they were all delicious. For only $4.95, you can get any item from the hot section, and $3.95 from the cold section. I love the affordability and the quality of the food here. I think this will be my go-to spot to buy meals for lunch for the week. Must try! read more

I was a loyal customer at the location on 23rd and Hoover. I was there about twice or three times a week with my colleagues to get a couple of salads. Loved the Vietnamese Chicken Salad, and it was the only item I would get. once in a while I would get something else, but i could have that salad everyday. I was very disappointing during my last visit about three weeks ago when I was told they would not carry that salad anymore. I have not been back anymore, neither have my colleagues. I hope they bring back the Vietnamese salad soon. read more

Great concept! Everything is affordable here and the ability to take home meals and warm them up is genius. However, a lot of the food itself just wasn't my cup of tea. I've been to Everytable a couple of times, and all the bowls taste great! The superb prices, friendly and helpful staff, and the store's mission of serving healthy AND affordable food don't hurt either. My favorite bowl (and the one I ate today) is the Vietnamese Chicken Salad! It makes for a really balanced meal of carbs, veggies, and protein and is very filling. The sauce also gives it just the right amount of flavor. One of the store associates told me that the bowls are good to be refrigerated for up to 3 days. So if you're someone who doesn't have time to cook, I would highly recommend buying a couple of bowls at a time for the next couple of days (what I do a lot). read more

So you basically walk in pick out your bowl if you get a salad then you're set but they have hot plates like Posole, chicken nuggets plates that need heating up. We always get food to go so I've never actually checked if they have a microwave there.
