Everytable took me by surprise! It's rare for a place with such a community and justice-based mission to have food that is ethically sourced and priced AND TASTE GOOD. We went to the South LA location and everything was priced ~$4 per bowl (I hear the downtown LA location is ~$8). There's a wide selection of both cold and hot menu items as well. Our choices were the Vietnamese Chicken Salad and BBQ Picnic and both were scrumptious. The viet salad had a great balance of kale, noodles, and chicken. The bbq chicken in the other bowl took a little getting used to because it was a cold item and I've only had it as warm prior to this, but it was still tasty. I heard their mission is to bring healthy and affordable options to the communities they serve and expand to other areas where the prices will reflect according to the location. So awesome! Imagine Trader Joe's pre-made meals (not frozen ones but the pre-made ones) but healthier, cheaper, and more delicious!!! So far, I've tried Jamacian jerk chicken, cajun blackened fish, Vietnamese chicken salad, smoked salmon bibimbap, BBQ picnic, homestylr turkey, and kale chicken caesar salad. Employees are very courteous and friendly and the eating area is always extremely clean. I come here as part of my bi weekly/monthly eating rotation since I work nearby. They have 10% off if you buy three items so I usually buy 3-4 and eat them at work over the next two three days. First time I went there I tried a harvest salad which was a vegetarian dish with mushrooms and grains which was amazingly good. Unfortunately it's a seasonal dish so I'm patiently waiting till it returns! In any case I was so impressed I tried every one of their items and must say everything is pretty good. I like that the containers are paper instead of plastic and are safe to microwave since I don't have plates at work. Food was alright. Wasn't the best. Pretty inexpensive and affordable! Apparently you have to microwave your own food. It was my first time there and payed for my food. Cashier had the worst attitude! She didn't even tell me I had to warm up my food. Ever since I've tried Everytable, I can't stop ordering. I've tried a few things but I always go back to the BBQ Chicken Salad. Seriously best salad I've ever had. So far nothing has disappointed me. This is the first Everytable I visited, and it did not disappoint. I have generally enjoyed the overall flavor and freshness of the food, and I love the price! Just about every meal is priced around $5. My favorites are the Yucatan chili, and the salad with the cashew-pesto dressing. I loved their chicken lettuce wraps but then they discontinued it! Be careful of their stewed pork and chicken dishes-- it was a little too spicy for me (and I'm usually okay with spiciness). I think the problem is that the beans and the meat were equally spicy, and there was nothing else on the plate to neutralize the spiciness. Their new Moroccan salmon was delish, especially because the fish was tender and not overcooked. Anyway, I am slowly working my way through their entire menu so I can try everything. My only advice to Everytable us to incorporate some kind of feedback system about their dishes, cuz I was so disappointed they discontinued the lettuce wraps, and I'm upset about the raisins in the salad (sorry, but I can't stand raisins). read more

Everytable is AMAZING. I visit Los Angeles every so often and this time around I stumbled upon this chain. Everything is healthy and super affordable since it is based off of the local community. I ended up buying 3 meals which is honestly like buying one at any other restaurant. Healthy and fresh meals for under $5. I love the mission and concept of Everytable. They are pre made meals made in the morning and put together as cold or hot bowls. This is a great way to take it home to-go, or eat in. They have a variety of salads which are in the cold section. Their hot bowls consist of many meals including bbq chicken, fish, chili, tamales, etc. All you do is heat it up in the microwave. It is very simple and efficient. Everything tastes really healthy and fresh. You definitely get your daily dose of nutrients and vitamins. The only thing is if you go later in the day, they might run out of some of their meals. Thankfully, they have the option to place an order and they will set it aside and hold it for you. I am a big eater so one bowl is not enough for me even though they are good healthy portions. Everytable has been my on the go spot since it opened. I used to attend LA Trade Tech a few blocks down back when everytable launched in summer of 2016. First of all the mission that everytable has, is amazing. It allows undeserved families attain a healthy nutritious meal at a low cost. In addition to helping that cause it has also helped all types of people get a healthy affordable meal on the go. I've had hit and misses with their dishes but by far my favorite dish is the jerk chicken. You can NEVER go wrong by choosing the jerk chicken. Cons: - They only swap out their menu once every season, which means you are stuck with the same options for three months or longer. - Would like to see more small side options. They have all their pre-made food bowls refrigerated. If you want to heat it instantly, there's a microwave and instructions based on the designated color of the bowl. I love this place. I could scream it from the rooftops if I wasnt afraid of heights. They have these perfect little meals that are healthy and delish for about $5. If you buy 5 you only pay about $22.50ish no more than $23. (23rd and Union by USC) What I absolutely loved about this place was the prices are income based for the neighborhood so this location will be a bit cheaper than the others but its still a great price for a healthy meal with fresh food. This place is amazing for sure and I wish this concept would flourish in every corner of LA. I love their hot meals for under $4 and the fact that there is always something new coming out. I am really big fan of the "hot foods" here as I am personally a piping hot meal kinda gal but I can't wait to try their salads I got the tinga chicken ($4.50) and the Jamaican jerk Chicken ($4.50). The tinga chicken was my favorite. It's savory and everything in the bowl goes very well with the chicken. At 430 calories this bowl was surprisingly filling. I don't remember too much of the details as I had this a week ago...but I recall it being DELICIOUS The Jamaican jerk chicken was very good as well. The chicken is delicious! I'm not a big kale fan but the kale in the bowl is soft enough to enjoy with the chicken. The plantains harden a bit when heated but the texture is chewy and the tart sweetness balances well with the smokey chicken. It can be difficult to find healthy food around the USC area so I was so happy to try this place out after recommendations from my friends. The concept of Everytable is to provide healthy options that are affordable for the communities they are located in. They use local ingredients but do not hike prices up like most healthy places do; therefore, it is highly accessible to almost everybody. Love!!! We need more places like these. Because this store is located in the South Central area, the prices are low and they make food that parallel to the culture of the people in this community. They had pozole, tamales, chili, and much more. There are cold bowls, which are usually salads that do not need any heating up. Hot bowls require heating and conveniently, they have a microwave in their store! It's super easy and they specify which buttons for which dish that you purchase. They also have healthy snacks and juices that are fresh and sugar-free. I bought the Cajun Blackened Fish which came with collard greens, sweet potato puree, and black eyed peas, all of which were delicious! The fish and the collard greens were perfectly seasoned, and the black-eyed peas and sweet potato puree provided great contrasts in texture. I seriously could have eaten another bowl of it. There were so many other options that I wanted to try which I will next time! This is also a perfect place to grab something to bring to lunch during work the next day. Having lived near USC campus I am all too familiar with the abundance of fast-food restaurants on Figueroa and it's so nice to see an establishment like Everytable that offers healthy alternatives at an unbelievable price! All for less than $5 I can feel good about the food that I am putting in my body because it's made fresh everyday and it's free of preservatives. I also really like the fact that they label their meals with the caloric count and grams of protein.
