I tried the Jamaican Jerk Chicken and to be honest, it was lacking some spicy, but I didn't mind it at all. I wished it was extra spicy. Fun fact: I'm half Jamaican and half Hispanic myself and when I say this food almost reminded me of the food that my grandma cooked, I was very pleased. This is one of my favorite restaurants to eat in at lunch time..the facility is very clean. The young ladies at the cash register were professional and courteous. So glad my friend told me about Everytable! They are definitely providing the community with affordable, and delicious meals! They have a variety of salads, soups, and hot plates that you can purchase. As they ship them in from the main kitchen daily, they come prepackaged; but you have the choice to have it warmed up in shop. Seating inside is available. If you purchase 3 or more meals, they give you 10% off your order. And they also partner with 5Star, so you build up points thru that as well. This is the closest Everytable to my house, so I had to check it out after my initial visit to the Everytable near USC. I have generally enjoyed the overall flavor and freshness of the food, and I love the price! Just about every meal is priced around $5. My favorites are the Yucatan chili, and the salad with the cashew-pesto dressing. I loved their chicken lettuce wraps but then they discontinued it! Be careful of their stewed pork and chicken dishes-- it was a little too spicy for me (and I'm usually okay with spiciness). I think the problem is that the beans and the meat were equally spicy, and there was nothing else on the plate to neutralize the spiciness. Their new Moroccan salmon was delish, especially because the fish was tender and not overcooked. Anyway, I am slowly working my way through their entire menu so I can try everything. My only advice to Everytable us to incorporate some kind of feedback system about their dishes, cuz I was so disappointed they discontinued the lettuce wraps, and I'm upset about the raisins in the salad (sorry, but I can't stand raisins). read more

I absolutely love this place! They have a great variety of healthy foods and alternatives. I enjoy eating Vegetarian foods from time to time and they have everything that fits my needs. The trap kitchen Curry Chicken is by far my favorite bowl. Yes, you microwave it. If you do not want to microwave your food, I suggest you buy a salad or cook at home. Noticed this place several times (as it's between Chase Bank and one of my favorite Fro-yo places, Yogurtland) Stopped in, and was pleasantly surprised at the variety of healthy food options. Packaged and easy to go! I picked out a pasta dish and a salmon salad(Homegirl Salmon Adobo), both were delicious (the salad was big enough for two meals) I also purchased an Apple/Ginger cold pressed juice that was refreshing!! Let me start by saying I am extremely impressed by Everytable. This compton location just opened a month or so ago! What they stand for, the quality of the food and the service. All exceptional! For those who don't know about Everytable, They make their food daily, all fresh ingredients, it's never frozen, Vegan and vegetarian options, and Gluten Free. The portions are a perfect dinner size for 1 with a pretty big stomach or 2 for average eaters lol. I got a tofu teriyaki bowl. Delicious! The teriyaki sauce was not too sweet or salty. A nice touch of tangy. Tofu was firm just how I like it. And they were generous with the amount! The brown rice was my favorite part! Cooked to perfection. Also had garlic broccoli in there but I couldn't taste too much of the garlic (which is fine with me because I'm not too fond of the taste or smell. The best part, NOTHING IS OVER $7! Second best part, you can pay forward for only $6! Yes, with just $6 you can pay for someone's meal who may need it more than you! Had the pleasure of getting lunch here a few times during my jury duty week. I've been meaning to try it before, but never got a chance to until then. It's in a plaza with plenty of parking. You walk in and to your right is the fridge with all their meals. The meals are labeled and the prices are visible on a little sign near each section. Once you choose your meal, you pay at the cashier straight ahead, and they give you an option of having the meal heated there so you can eat it warm or just taking it to-go. They have a large variety of meals. They have rice plates, salads, some soup, and drinks available. I've tried maybe 4-5 different dishes and my favorite by far is the meatballs & spaghetti squash. It's delicious! But their other dishes are still very good. The packaging of their food is also great. It's pretty environmentally friendly. The packaging also has instructions for heating the food. It's great! The staff is also very friendly. I never had an issue with Everytable during my visits. I haven't been in the area in a while, but I plan on coming soon. I love this place! The entire staff is amazing. I had just moved back to the LA area and I am so grateful that I stumbled upon Everytable within my first week! This is a go to spot for me while in Compton for super affordable, relatively healthy pre-made meals. The decor is cute and they even have free WiFi. I also fell in love with Patria Coffee which is across the street from this location and Everytable serves their delicious coffee all day!
