Ann completed my microblading a few hours ago and I am ecstatic. I haven't done any beauty procedures like this before so I was intimidated. I went in for a free consultation and Ann was so patient with me. She took fifteen minutes to draw fine strokes on my eyebrows exactly as she would during the procedure. She answered all of my questions and was so professional. Today she explained exactly what she was going to do including how to care for them at home. She meticulously drew them on again. I was totally satisfied with them but I know she would've changed them until I was content. She color matched my brow hair and put a swatch on my hand for me to approve. After the numbing cream sat for fifteen minutes, we did the procedure which was totally painless and took about fifteen minutes per brow. All in all, I wish I hadn't been so intimidated- I might've saved myself many years of penciling in where my brows were sparse. Very grateful that everything was so easy. I was very nervous to get my extremely fair and thin eyebrows (thanks, early 90s over plucking) micro bladed, and she was very patient with my waffling over the shape. She let me choose between a more trendy peaked brow and a more naturally curved brow that followed my own growth pattern more closely. The color match was lovely, and the microblading itself was a breeze with the numbing cream -- though full disclosure, the more expensive combination brow that includes shading is definitely and unavoidably more painful. This is the best gift I have given myself. Well-shaped brows that keep getting compliments from friends and strangers. They look incredibly natural and well-manicured. Josefina was incredible. She walked me through each step, including showing me the sterilized single use materials to perform my brows, which I really appreciated. She started off by drawing on my brows, she will make sure it's exactly the way you want it before you start. It's a little painful but not bad. It took me a long time to finally decide to bite the bullet and get my eyebrows micro bladed. I did a ton of research based on price, location, talent (obviously - this was not the time to cheap out on something). Kim at Evertrue was the perfect match for all three. When I initially came for a consultation, she spent a very very long time trying to make my uneven eyebrows even again. She had me sit up and lay back down about a thousand times, determined to get it right. She has such an eye for complimentary color, shape, and bone structure. She will adjust it even by a single hair if she doesn't think it's perfect. A few touch-ups later, each time my brows are somehow even better than the time before. I feel like I can trust her 100000% with my eyebrows. She is a true master of her art. I can't even begin to tell you the number of compliments I get. I had such a great experience at EverTrue. My sis and I have been considering getting this done for a while now, but I was scared the bespoke brow would be too pronounced for me. I don't wear a lot of makeup (only special occasions) and wanted to simply 'enhance' my brows in a natural looking way. I am also getting married in several months and was very scared I was going to commit to something that I couldn't reverse. Thankfully, this all worked out for the best and I am beyond happy with my results. Josefina did my brows. She was amazing! She is such a sweetheart, explained everything that was involved in the process, gave me some advice on the shape and allowed me to think about it before we started the process. It was slightly painful (to be expected) and I have a low tolerance for pain. She let me take a moment/ asked me how I was doing along the way. The best part is that she was super honest with me about how crazy black they would look for the first several days. Eventually they healed and 3 weeks later I have natural brows. I will say some of the pigment went away, but there is a touch up appointment several weeks after to fine tune everything. Overall, I was very pleased with the work Josefina did. Josefina is the best! She has totally transformed my eyebrows, and I am so happy I made the decision to microblade. More importantly, I am so glad I went to EverTrue. I also wanted some YouTube videos. Why do this at all?..... The back story... After plucking all my eyebrows out in the 90's, I have been left with a thin line of actual eyebrow left since then... Ladies, I know you know what I am talking about. I learned about microblading a few years ago - but it seemed very mysterious and confusing...Is it a tattoo? They cut you? Does it hurt?? A coworker of mine recently had hers done, so I made her tell me every last detail - then I made the decision to take the plunge... Initial Visit: The initial visit I was a little scared - but - hey, totally natural. Josefina took me through all the steps and then drew in (with a pen) what the shape of my eyebrow would look like. Not only did she draw, she measured and looked at all the proportions. From there you get to take a look, discuss and make modifications. Once you are settled and happy with the look - it is time for some numbing cream and a 20 minute wait. Then the magic starts. Lay there and think about your new brows while Josefina does her thing. In my opinion it did not hurt, you know what is happening but it is not very, it at all, painful. She is gentle, asks if you are OK - will chit chat with you or not. All up to you. Then what: Your brows will look INTENSE for a day or two. I was a bit freaked out, if I am being honest. I suggest doing this it on a Saturday morning then binging Netflix for the rest of the weekend while you start to heal. Healing takes a week. Over the week your eyebrows will itch a bit and they "peel" (which is what is supposed to happen). By day 4 you may question your decision... but hold on, it gets better with time. Hold out until the 6 week touch up appointment until you make any major judgments. 6 Week Touch Up: By the time I got to my 6 week appointment, I noticed that my brows had faded significantly from the initial visit. I was told by others who have bladed to be patient - the touch up is where it all comes together. At 6 Weeks you talk about any tweaks you want to make - do you want to go darker or stay the same, etc. At my appointment Josefina went back over my entire brow area. Same as last time I took the week to heal and see how they look - and I could not be happier. Bottom line. It is amazing to wake up in the morning with your eyebrows already on : ) I do still fill them in a bit when I do full makeup - but I am no longer self conscious about leaving the house "without my eyebrows on" read more

When I was 18, I got my eyebrows threaded by the wrong person, which left me with thin, non existent brows for the past 11 years. It's been about 3 years since I originally had this done and what a mistake. I have orange shadows where they attempted to create a new shape.
