Itan Carmel used to be my go-to spot for pampering, but things have taken a turn since the management changed. I've been a loyal client since 2022, and Anita, Stephanie, and the rest of the team--both past and present--have always been wonderful. However, when I learned Brynn had taken over as the new manager, I was shocked. Her lack of professionalism and experience is glaring. One incident that stood out was when I was waiting for assistance, and she was on a call with a client. Her tone and the way she spoke were incredibly rude--it made me uncomfortable just listening. Unfortunately, this wasn't an isolated event; it's just one example of the many unprofessional behaviors I've witnessed from her. Because of Brynn, I've stopped coming to this location and won't return until there's a change in management. Itan, please take action and get things back on track! read more

Honestly just awful. I haven't been to Itan in a while - I usually will just self tan at home. But I had a wedding and didn't have time to do it myself. The staff was very friendly but my spray tan is AWFUL. I haven't been in a while so I'm not sure when they changed their machines to spray just the front and back of you. Let me start off first with I rarely write reviews but this one definitely had to be done. My friend and I went into CM location to prepare ourselves for our trip to Virgin Islands. We just wanted to pay for each individual visit as we didn't care about $. When we got there There were a few people waiting for the beds and the front desk employee was with a new customer going over services. Throughout this process it became clear the employee was by herself that day as the other went home sick. Next was our turn. We explained why we were there and our intentions. Let me just say that Summer, the front desk employee was very thorough on all the benefits of signing up and the options we would have. Still multitasking between us, checking people in, sanitizing each bed, answering calls. Well, we ended up signing up and enjoyed our first tan. After I was done I waited for my friend as she also got the teeth whitening package. I'm part of the management team at Costco and as a consumer and of course my position I'm always paying attention to how businesses treat customers . Summer must have helped at least 25+ people while I was waiting for my friend, going back between sanitizing beds, checking them in, answering phones and she never once changed her demeanor or showed any signs of stress or anxiety. She remained pleasant and courteous to each person. Every time I have gone there she is always upbeat, happy and very informative to myself and everyone that comes in. She's extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I sure hope the management team at Carmel Mtn recognize and appreciate the gem they have in having Summer represent Itan. This was my 1st ever tanning experience & it went well! I came during the right time because they were having a promotion= $7 for 7 consecutive days of tanning. What a steal! Since it was my 1st time, the gal at the front gave me a tour & a rundown of the machines, recommended length of times (max 12 minutes), what services they offer (sun, spray), & more. The facility & the beds are nice & clean. The beds are easy to use. I took my daughter here for her first spray tan. She is naturally tan but she really wanted a spray tan before her cheer competition. So off we went to iTan.. I called before coming in and received wonderful customer service from Allie. Even better service from her when we got there. Allie walked us through everything and was so helpful. Did I mention high school students get there tan for $10?? We ended up paying $19 because we had toners added on but still a great price. I was able to go in the back with her and guide her through everything. It was very private and we will definitely be coming back before her next competition. I am so pleased with the impeccable service and assistance this location has brought me, but more importantly Ashley E. I came in just wanting a quick spray for an event I had that weekend and luckily came in when it was Customer Appreciation Week. I have been going to iTAN for years to get my spray tans and airbrushes, so it was great to come in during this special event. During this week anyone was able to sign up for a $1 and who doesn't want a tanning membership, especially with summer around the corner. Since I signed up I have been going in about once a week to get a spray tan just because I love how confident a tan makes me feel and I love seeing the friendly faces of iTAN.
