This is the best carry out spot for Chinese food! Even their presentation is awesome. We enjoy ordering from this restaurant. Also they have very good coupons. If you're in Dundalk and you're looking for a great Chinese spot, don't try those other places don't waste your time ! Totally worth every single penny. Because 1 star is the lowest I can rate.... I usually go here, the food is decent for American Chinese food... Too bad the staff is horrendous... On Sunday I placed an online order at 9:45 and got a confirmation email stating that the order was received at 9:49... It said my order was to be ready at 10:14 and I was going to pick it up. I arrived at the store a minute or two before 10 pm and it was dark... I didn't get a phone call or anything alerting me that my food was not going to be prepared or that my order would be ignored... I planned to tip pretty well even though I ordered carry out because of how late it was when I placed my order.... So needless to say I didn't get my dinner... I called the store the next day and the woman on the phone attempted to argue with me. Claiming that the order didn't ARRIVE until 10:14 and no one was there.... That's almost a half hour discrepency from the time the order was placed and that makes no sense and is pretty coincidental that the order was RECEIVED at the exact time it was quoted to be READY TO PICK UP... The woman ran me in circles and tried to say she called me the next day (she did but I don't answer random numbers and she left no voice mail so I had no idea) and that "no one was there" when the order came in which is an obvious lie she then hung up on me in the middle of conversation (note I was not being rude I just wanted an explanation and/or resolution and instead I got a woman telling me it was my fault for using resources given to me from the restaurant, clearly I should have known better) I called back after being so rudely hung up on to which the woman said she didn't hang up on me (I heard the click, she very clearly had cause my phone was still connected a little after the click so it wasn't a loss on my end) I then spoke to another person in the store who tried to pull the same thing while saying "you can speak to the owner I'm just an employee" but then when I asked to do so he argued with me about that as well and said I couldn't speak to the owner... Eventually he gave me a number to call for the owner... I called the owner up, he was kind and he went out of his way to go to the store to find out what was going on... I got a text with an image of part of the order (which I will attach) and eventually I just gave up because he made it seem that the order indeed did arrive late and said he would call the people who run the restaurant's website... I looked at my email confirmation today because I decided oh well I mind as well just get my food today since I didn't get it the other night and the issue had been resolved... That was when I realized why the owner cropped the image he sent me.. It was identical to my email.... And he cropped to show the time it should have been picked up but tried to make it look like the time it was recieved... All in all I had an incredibly frustrating and unprofessional time dealing with this place and being lied to.... HORRIBLE is an understatement. I ordered food for my father through GrubHub. It was to be delivered to a nursing home and clear instructions were provided. I receive a call an angry delivery person (an Everspring staff member according to GrubHub). I explained he needed to ring the door bell and tell them who it was for (the name was in the delivery instructions). He proceeded to yell and me. I asked him to ring the door bell again and I would let them know he was there. He proceeded to say "F*@k you", hung up on me, and the receptionist told me he left. What a horrible place. We walked in and sat at the counter for 5 minutes before my boyfriend said "okay, we're ready to order" to get the workers attention away from his game. A child who was probably about 8 or 9 years old took our order. After trying to explain to him what we wanted, an adult came and took over and we explained what we wanted to order. My boyfriend explained that I only wanted broccoli and she kept insisting that we should have specified that we only wanted broccoli. She kept saying it comes with corn and carrots. He kept saying I only wanted the broccoli. She took it back and then threw the old order on the table angrily and told another worker what we wanted. He quickly made it. She put it in the bag sideways and it ended up leaking. Why did it leak? The sauce is as thin as water. It was nice and thick with the first order. Its absolutely tasteless. No flavour at all. How do you have flavorless broccoli? The fried rice is the same. Boyfriend ordered general tsos and it just tastes like chicken wings. It was dry as hell. However, I ordered through eat 24 and realized I hadn't included the tip so I contacted eat 24 and they added the tip right away. 20 minutes later the food showed up and the driver didn't believe me that I had gone back in and added a tip and said I had to tip in cash, so he wouldn't leave without it and wound up with a double tip. Our family placed a huge order of almost $100 dollars for pick up on Friday night. It took forever for someone to pick up the phone, but when they did we were informed they were incredibly busy and they apologized. Over the phone we had to listen to staff laughing and carrying on conversations before they took our order. That is my only complaint in this review. Delivery ranges from 30-90 minutes and the driver is normally okay. I ordered food last week, Shrimp Yat Gat Mein and Shrimp and Broccoli, with a Shrimp Egg Roll and it wasn't expensive but I had to throw the food away because I got sick while eating it.
