UPDATE Since my last review, additional sections of lights have failed. One entire zone is now non functional and the other zone has only about 40% of the lights functioning as intended. Everlights Support indicate there is only 1 authorized repair organizations in all DFW METRO. To put that into perspective, I asked Duck.com AI to estimate the area in square miles. The answer that came back was "The measurement of the Texas DFW metro area, which is commonly understood as the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex is roughly 8,700 square miles (or about 22,500 km²). The Census Reporter gives 8,676 sq mi, while the Texas Comptroller mentions a larger CSA of 16,302 sq miiles. " Just a little more context; the area of each of these states is less than 16,300. Everlights has been slow in responding to a support issue I had with my lights. I think they are going through some growing pains of a sort. Yesterday, 2/11/25, Mike from Starry Night Lights came to address the issues. He, as I understand is also a dealer for Everlights. I had two issues he fixed the first issue real quick, but then I asked him to look at why a single LED build was showing the wrong color. This open a whole can of worms for him. He arrived here at around lunch time, he was here until 6:30, but he found more buld problems, and got them all resolved and working. The lights look so much better than those cheap looking downward facing lights that just glow up the bricks. These actually look like holiday lights with a colorful celebration for every occasion you can think of. They are really bright and easy to customize with the app. I love them. We live near The Woodlands, Texas, south of Conroe. It's a big investment but we thought it would be worth it to have lights we didn't have to put up every year. The installation went well with a husband and wife team, Josh & Heather. They were responsive in the first year we had them, and then we had to pay a $75 service fee after that any time they came out. Still okay and great service. But then we could get no response from them this past year. Apparently they got out of the business, and didn't notify their customers. Major strike by both the company and these installers. At least we could have been notified and told who to contact in their absence, if there are problems. Too much money for these lights with no way to get service. We are now reaching out to the Dallas office in the hopes of getting some help. I'll provide another review once the Dallas office responds. read more

Let me start with a warning ... do NOT hire these guys. They will take your deposit money and NEVER complete the job. They do not care about customers, they do not care about reputation. I think the company stays alive by taking deposits knowing full well they will NEVER complete installation. And they're not cheap. $8000 for our job, deposit paid in November of 2023 (it is now MAY 2024). Is our house unusual? It's a standard issue, Southlake residence - built in 1987, there are 100's like it, all around us. Here's what I heard from the technician, when he finally showed up. "Oh wow. You have gutters?" Understand, mind you, the salesman walked all around the house. His estimate was based upon what he claimed was experience installing lights, and pictures he took. Contract approved and signed. And there are still no lights. For the last two months, I've received texts from them. "Sorry for the delay, we're working on it". What they mean is, trying to figure out how to install lights that can be clearly seen from the street, on a house that has -shudder- gutters. Epic fail. Do NOT do business with them. read more

Had these installed several years ago and they break constantly. The warranty was supposed to be the saving grace, but now I'm being told a fix this time will take over a month. What's the point of holiday lights if they don't work for Halloween, when I'm on the busiest halloween street in the city? Would give ZERO stars if I could. I've been trying to get Everlights to come fix our lights for about a year now. EL support says contact the installer. The installer will NOT call us back after numerous calls and TXTs. We currently have lights that won't turn off, lights that won't come on, and a string about 15ft long that flicker as if there's a short. We're afraid to even turn them on anymore for fear of a fire. read more

This company and its product is horrible. I had them install lights on my house last year and have had numerous issues and support calls, and each time they get the lights to work until they need to be turned off, then they never work again. It is so frustrating! Now I can't even remove them because if I do, I will have holes in my rain gutters. The support is even worse than the product! Horrible company. Let me first start off by saying, typically when I write reviews they are always positive. This review is far from positive. My wife and I have been looking for a permanent solution since March 2020. We did our research and after 13 months of weighing the pros and cons and the different warranties we thought we had found the solution, EverLights, or so we thought. On May 12, 2021 an Area Manager contacted me after I made an initial inquiry. He mentioned that EverLights was offering fully customizable lighting at introductory pricing and stated that we would receive huge savings along with a $100 Amazon gift card. I contacted him same day and asked to setup a time to meet. We both agreed that May 27 would work for both of us and set a time. When he came he was awesome. Told me all of the details provided a quote within 24 hours and we even talked the how details I wanted no wires showing and that we would be putting a dedicated electric line for this as the current outside outlets are under powered due to the amount of amps being drawn from other things on the circuit. Once I received the quote, I compared the pricing with another company that I had received a quote from, and mentioned it to the Area Manager. I informed him that the other company was offering lifetime warranty as well as full custom trim to ensure the peaks were going to be the way that I explained. He stated that he would not only match the price of the competition but also would give me everything that we discussed, full customization of trim, lights, lights at each peak, etc, and last but not least would fly in the #1 installer to do the installation as the company wanted to utilize my house in a photo shoot due to the architecture. All for $6,500 out the door and would have it completed by the time July 15, 2021 rolled around and this was approved by his leadership and executives. I signed the contract on Jun 14, 2021, paid the downpayment and set up a time for him to instal the Bridge as I was not going to be in town. He said not a problem and started the installation on June 25, 2021. Just before leaving Jeff called and said the installer got injured and would have to complete the install in a week or so due to his recovery. Sounded fine to me and agreed on a late July install. In the middle of July we I had not heard and started to call and text with no response from the company or the Manager. Continued to call each the Manager and Company once a week to see what was going on. On August 23, 2021 I received an email about the installation and I felt skeptic of the situation as the installer was not the same person. Finally on August 26, the manager informs me that he is no longer with EverLights and to contact the company. On the 27th I responded to Canan via email stating that I had an install date of September 1-2 and really looked forward to getting this completed. same day I receive a call from Mark stating I had 3 options. - 1st Option: A DIY pricing and I would have to install it myself. - 2nd Option: I could get a refund as the contract that I signed was no longer valid and in play as there was a 30 day clause of which any party could separate. - 3rd Option: They could complete the install, but only at a higher price ($1,354 more) then the agreed upon contract. I informed Mark that the failure to abide by contract pricing was against the law. He mentioned that he had nothing to do with that and the company would not take any ownership of Jeff's quotes and is why they had not reached out to me. He informed me that I needed to make a decision (no deadline) and there was nothing that he could do about the price. On 9/1 an e-mail from Mark said since he had not received an e-mail he would refund. I immediately responded that I was still conversing with my wife and I would get back with him and informs him not refund. When asked to discuss, he told me there was nothing to discuss as the contract was no longer valid. Still to this day I have not receive a call or an apology for the companies actions.
