Raymond went above and beyond to help me solve the problem I was experiencing with my previous tile installation! So grateful!

Floor and Decor is good. what I did learn is the corporate policies are not consumer friendly. Be careful because they don't appear to have long standing relationships, and tend to "discontinue" products quickly. So, in the event you have a catastrophic even, likely you will have to change because you will not be able to duplicate your choice. i had that issue, wayer damage, and to keep from starting all over, I wanted to only replace what was damaged to keep what i have and love. Chewy, Annabelle and Chris at the Mansfield Tx store were amazing, very helpful and tried to do what was within their job descriptions to help but, F&D policies, process and procedure are not consumer friendly, not consistent with what is stated, promoted on their website consistentl. To make a king story short, they found the "discontinued" flooring in three (3) different states, $450.00 for the flooring, and shipped BECAUSE THEY DON'T SHIP... charged $450 per store for over $1,200.00 for Shipping. Highway robbery and raping their customer. I ONLY did so to save time. However, I still need flooring for four (4) other rooms and F&D manager would rather loose money, approximately $2,000 or more in sales, than expense the freight. Hell, they didn't bother to send the product back to main warehouse to ship to a store. Want that money... bottom line, they lost money. The store manager wasnof no help, so he can keep working hard and if I were you, be careful and spend your money wisely... else where. read more

Everything! We found a wonderful young lady (wish we had caught her name!) who guided us with such great advice about picking out backsplash and flooring!! She was so helpful without being "pushy". Checkout was easy.., very nice young man was so courteous & friendly. AND.... they kept it cool in the entire bldg!! I only wish we had gone there to pick out the counter top instead of "around the corner", where it was soooo very hot!!! And a HUGE selection of flooring, counter tops, backsplashes!! I'm a property manager and we use floor we used to use floor and decor for a lot of our projects for our property . However when materials were discontinued they would never let us know until it was too late we decided to give them another go and it turned out bad as they don't carry anything in their store to an extent it's only in small amounts so if you run out and just meet even the smallest amount of boxes you either have to drive all the way to BFE or you have to wait 7 to 14 days just to get it shipped to you !! I've decided that our business will no longer be doing business with Floor and Decor as this is second chance we have given them and both people that I spoke with for customer service and at the store were incredibly rude and snarky ! read more

Came to floor & decor to do a DIY backsplash. There were so many tiles to pick from and they can definitely fit anyone's budget. Raymond was an incredible help. He gave us pointers, taught my husband a few tricks and insured we had all the supplies we needed. We will be coming back to this location for future projects. read more

There is a flooring manager here named 'Tessi' who is super knowledgeable, helpful, kind, personable, and caring about giving us the best recommendations for our home repair. We are deciding between tile, hardwood, laminate, etc. Tessi has been able to give us details, pros and cons of each, relating to the installation, cost, affect on home value, etc. His assistance has been invaluable! FLOOR AND DÉCOR - TILE, WOOD, AND STONE is a home builder's/designer's little slice of paradise. After a friend purchased materials from them for a home make-over, I decided to stop in for their Industry Networking Event. Open to the public, it was a chance to meet the store's pro team and some of the vendors whose products are available for sale in the store. I wish I had known about this place when I was designing a house a couple years ago! The quality and variety of the materials versus the price was amazing! Rows and rows of wood flooring in any finish imaginable, with prices starting as low as .94c per sq ft! There was a pretty extensive section of wood laminate flooring as well - looked so amazing it was hard to tell the difference just by sight. Stone, slate, porcelain, and ceramic, for walls, floors, counters, inside/outside - you name it, they had it - and all starting off with prices under $1 per sq. ft. (based on style). I have to say compared to the last design center I used and some of the big box home stores, it's hard to beat these prices for the quality. Gorgeous patterns on the tiles! Did you know they made grout in glitter?!?!?! Lol Ok it is a grout with flecks of 60% recycled clear glass and the most gorgeous colors! I am sure combined with the pretty tiles, that grout would be sure to give a little extra sparkle! There are several displays of bathroom designs - all very innovative and unique. I loved the different designs of counter-top bathroom sinks - they easily had at least 25 styles to choose from. And they do have a design team who will work with you to create the rooms you envisioned. I enjoyed my visit here and will definitely revisit when I'm ready for some re-modeling! read more

Disappointed in the manager Scott's customer service and leadership. After confirming the mismatched tile was a dye lot problem - they sold me mismatched lots. Scott blamed me and insisted I buy the replacement tile. He appeared as though he was stating a company policy - so perhaps this is the policy: sell mismatched tile, cause havoc on jobsite, blame customer, sell more tile. He dumped me a cashier and walked away. Cashier walked away from her register, started a conversation with another cashier, came back and other cashier left her register and followed her while they continued to talk over me and interrupted my conversation and questions to my assigned cashier. We bought vinyl flooring for our home and found problems with it after it had been installed for a couple of weeks. Since the store refused to help, we contacted customer service, and they have been absolutely terrible. After sending someone to our home, they admitted there was a problem, but now after four months they have still not done anything about it. They never respond to my emails and claim they have left me voicemails, but they are not being truthful. read more

I don't know, maybe we came on a very "off" day. I see all of these five star reviews but have realized most are written by Yelpers with just one or two reviews, so it makes me a little skeptical. We had visited the Floor and Decor in The Colony one day and thought we would go to this store the next day since it was closer to our home. The store was a mess. And as we were looking at different hardwood samples, most did not have the pricing and other information displayed. We would have to hunt down an employee each time, which was not helpful at all and we wasted a lot of time. If feasible, visit the one in The Colony- all info was displayed conveniently and the customer service was great. read more

This store is AWESOME!! Very Clean and WELL Stocked! The sales people were very helpful but did NOT hover which was nice. They have a LARGE selection of tiles and flooring and a number of "room displays" so you can see how some combinations actually LOOK once installed. This was very helpful. They also have some of their tiles installed at the top over the selection area the tile is in, in a LARGER 3x3 or 4x4 section so you can see what it would look like in a larger area. THAT is Super helpful. Their prices are very good. Would recommend this store and taking a look before you make a final decision. My husband and I are adding on an addition to our home. We recently met with Destiny who is a designer for Floor and Decor. Our appointment to design our bathroom was with a different designer who was unavailable. Destiny offer to assist us. In hindsight, thank goodness she offered. We had a sample of our bedroom floor and a pretty good idea of the floor we wanted in our bathroom. Destiny asked us several questions about the addition and our taste. She was off and running! In less than 2 hours we had the design for our bathroom. It is absolutely beautiful and exactly what we envisioned. The Tale of Two Stores It was the best of stores, it was the worst of stores. The Dallas, Texas store was the epoch of belief, of Light and the spring of hope. The Mesquite, Texas store was the epoch of incredulity, the season of Darkness and the winter of despair. My wife and I walk through the Dallas store and are happily asked by store associates if they may help. My wife and I walk through the Mesquite store attempting to track down an employee for assistance only to be ignored and treated as a bother. I ordered tile from the Dallas store through the web site and the order was pulled within 24 hours. I ordered tile from the Mesquite store through the web site and had to call for a status and am told to come only to have to wait for 2 hours in the Mesquite parking lot for my truck to be loaded. I have experienced the Mesquite store several times in the recent months. I was forced to order Lagos Blue Matte Porcelain Tile from the Mesquite store.  I literally looked at every, and I mean every, Floor and Decor store in the Dallas/Fort Worth area for this tile just to avoid dealing with the Mesquite store. I understood the labor pool surrounding the Mesquite store is a bit limited and finding quality employees is challenging.  Over the last 3 years, I've spent approximately $11,500 at Floor and Decor.  Honestly, if given a choice of returning to the Mesquite Floor and Decor or finding another vendor, I will choose another vendor. Worst experience ever. Completely rude staff. I asked for help lifting two bags of mortar and the girl Natalie scoffed at me and laughed. I have bulged disc's in my back. I may look able bodied. I wish I could give half a star. I've spent 10's of thousand at this exact location. And I will never spend another dime here. Emser tile is next door, go there trust me. I have been buying everything for my flooring project from the big box stores and we all know who they are. The contractor working on my house suggested that I stop by floor and decor for a few items that he was suggesting that I purchased for the project. I am so glad that he did. This place has an amazing selection of flooring items and wall items for your house and business. And while there's varying degrees of expertise amongst the staff they always have available some people that can really help you out with guidance on your project. The quality of the products that they have here and the selection far exceeds what is available to you at the big box stores. In fact I bought several products that I already purchased at a big-box store just because they had better quality at Floor and Decor. Now I have to make some major returns but it will all be worth it and I will have a nicer quality selection at a lower price than what I was letting myself have at the big box stores. One example of that is the molding that I am using around the baseboards of my floors. I already purchased it at a dollar 79 a linear foot and found the exact same product hear from the same manufacturer and everything for only $0.99 a linear foot. I'm just going to say this up front if you are working on a Home Project you owe it to yourself to include this place in the shopping for the materials for your project. read more

HORRIBLE management. My project was delayed four times due to COVID, causing me to return tiles after the 90 day deadline. THEY WOULD NOT REFUND MY MONEY, even with all tiles in perfect condition, in original packaging, and with my receipts. They gave me, a regular consumer, store credit, though it'll be years before Im likely to have another flooring project. Really? I was shocked that they had no leniency in these times. I've been to this store so many times, as I keep changing my mind. The staff and Managers are all so helpful and patient. I am redoing 4 bathrooms and am a novice at this kind of design. Thankfully they offer free design service and it was a blessing as BJ was so very patient and helpful. Make sure you get an appointment with her or you could wait a while. She has a ton of design experience which is very helpful when making high dollar decisions. The prices are amazing even compared to Home Depot and so much to choose from. read more

We came in several times and purchased various samples on our own. We took them home and tried to match up with other components in our remodel, but we weren't satisfied. We went to other stores and just couldn't get everything to pull together for the right "look". We saw the designers working with other customers and thought "we can do this, we don't need help". But, after several weeks without a cohesive plan, we booked an appointment with BJ Smith. That changed everything! We brought in our cabinet doors, our floor tile, paint samples and tile samples we picked up along or journey and laid it out for her. It was a mess... She looked over everything and said "ok, we can do this. It's going to be beautiful!" She told us why certain pieces weren't working together, told us to repaint and helped us find the right color. She taught us what we needed to look for when we went shopping for countertops and even let us being a sample back so she could give her final thumbs up. She helped us match everything with the perfect tile and brought the whole look together. We couldn't be happier or more impressed. BJ is the hidden gem in this store! Don't pass up the chance to gain from her years of experience and eye for color. She also asked questions about "us" to make sure the design would fit our personality and lifestyle. You would pay alot for this service from a outside designer, but Floors and decor offers this service free!!! The tile is wonderful, great pricing and amazing staff... During the COVID-19 pandemic the employees were extremely professional, easy to work with, and safe wearing gloves, masks, and staying 6 ft apart. Their service was amazing and the picking up of my materials was a breeze. They were all more lighthearted, friendlier, and more efficient than any pick up I've ever dealt with even at Walmart or other businesses that handle bulk pick up orders. This is by far the worst client experience i ever had in any place, let me explain. I ordered tile at the oaklawn location , they said they will text in about 30 min pick it up at Alberta dr. Ok 5 hours later I just drove there since they never called me. Upon arrival I standee in line , nobody said hello or anything, after 5 min a cx said oh the pick up desk is there, pointing the direction, after he said that an employee laughing said we should hire you, No! How about you do your job a customer had to do it for you. I still had to wait for them to get my stuff, they didn't even have them ready. Second visit i was returning a product and I was carrying a heavy box of tile, again no Hello, and the black lady at the counter was taking her sweet time , i decided to go and chase another person to assist me, again 0 help. Last and final visit, all of this it's been different days with different employees, i went to get baseboard and after looking around i asked a lady and she said , sir ! You don't suppose to be in this area, you need to be where the baseboards are! No s*** idiot that's why I'm asking, but i decided to be the bigger person and politely said thank you. Well if u made this far do yourself a favor and go elsewhere, the 2 starts are for the great selection of products but customer experience is a solid -3. 0 starts means non existing but this was worse. Went to Plano they didn't have our flooring so they checked and it is at this Location. The guy that helped us Justin was super. The girl at the register makes a comment ' they really get mad when they have to gather just boxes and take it out to your car for you'. I personally don't care who gets mad about doing their job. We've spent thousands of dollars at the Plano location and will stick to that location. We just spent $650 and she's saying they get mad for helping the customer with their 9 boxes... disappointed. read more

I called ahead to see if what I had was in stock and they were able to help me over the phone after just a few minutes of waiting. When I went there to pick up the item the service was just okay. Instead of being walked over to where my item was I was simply told the general area it would be in. The store is organized enough to easily find what I was looking for.
