A solid four star lunch experience. we have been to Everkrisp a number of times over the last year - trying to be a bit more healthy with our food choices, but I get to sneak bacon in.... The ingredients for the salads are always fresh. You can taste everything was prepared that day, probably shortly before the lunch hour and I appreciate the work involved to make that happen. The prices are a bit on the higher end for a salad - I usually have a Cobb salad and that is about $13. However, this is a touristy area and not a cheap one, so prices are in line with what you would/should expect to pay. I truly enjoy the salads and you do get to mix and match ingredients. There hasn't been a combo of ingredients I didn't like and I think that is due to the attention paid to ingredient prep. The only area of improvement is really the customer service component. I wouldn't say staff are rude, but they are definitely indifferent for the most part. I think I can understand the job is making salad for a bunch of people on vacation, but a greeting or eye contact might make it better. As it is, you feel you are annoying the staff. It doesn't change the product - it is a great salad and you should try it if in the area. read more

Wait time was too long! Over 10min to receive my takeout order of only 2 items and there was only 2 people in front of me when I walked in and they had adequate staff. While I enjoyed the healthy choices available, I was disappointed with the limited options of ingredients and only tempeh for a non meat protein. Having just moved from Naples, FL and enjoying Giardino Gourmet Salads for lunches, I was a little spoiled and expected more options from this upscale location. I love these salad/soup/sandwich/grain bowl restaurants. I've been in town 3 days and have eaten lunch here twice. It's like a Chipotle-style system where you order and customize your food at a counter and then receive it immediately and seat yourself. Nice to have the option of eating indoors or on the patio. read more

Have been going to the Destin EK for a while (a while being a week , everyday) so I figured since I was out that way it seemed to make sense to see what the other location was about. Turns out they do a pretty good job of throwing down the same yummy healthy salads they do in Destin. If you haven't tried this place go try their apples to orchard salad. Went in not knowing what kind of restaurant it was and was impressed. It has been really difficult getting wraps and sandwiches that are vegetarian anywhere. Luckily, this place let me make a wrap that was vegetarian and wasn't lacking in substance. I got a hummus wrap with some veggies. Very good. It was flavorful and filling! We went here twice during our vacation in Destin. First for lunch where we had: South of the Border salad - Very Good, The wrap of the day, which was the South of the Border wrap with pork - Great Corn soup - Awful - never order under any circumstance. Two scoops and $7.00 down the drain. Second for breakfast we had: Everything but the bagel Avocado toast - great combination, very good tasting, but small. Breakfast Wrap - Great! The service was odd, maybe they have some new people. They didn't seem to know what was going on, but they figured it out and did an okay job. I am very happy there's a healthy, quick stop lunch option. My husband and I both ordered salads. For two salads and one drink (hubby had water) we were charged nearly $30. Outrageous. For the price we were given a tiny amount of chicken each and it was very dry and hard. The other ingredients were good as well as the dressing but it is just not worth the money. The chicken was the most expensive ingredient and it was terrible. If you are looking for healthy and customizable to meet your dietary needs, this could be a good option. I wasn't expecting anything special beyond a salad, but the flavors here are quite a surprise. It was my second visit coming from out of town and I was jazzed up about squeezing in the visit. My wife seemed to be lukewarm on my suggestion of a salad/bowl for lunch, but afterward became a believer and even ate a little crow that she was wrong, which is rare. We had a great salad for dinner a few days ago and saw they had a breakfast menu. We showed up at 9:45 to try it only to find out they were not opening till after 11 am due to a large catering order. There was also no signage of the change and appeared to be close for employee convenience. This, on a day when a few thousand people are attending Artsquest 100 yards away. I've been going to Everkrisp since they opened the doors. The salads are wonderful!! HOWEVER... the wait time is huge. Every single time. Please consider staffing up so that your customers don't have to wait in line for 15-20 minutes. Also, it is ALWAYS uncomfortably cold. Wait time and temps aside, the food is truly great. This is an unassuming restaurant. When I drove by it I thought is was a donut shop. I'm so glad I stopped to check it out. Healthy, vegan fast food choices are so difficult to find. I have always been treated nicely by the non-managerial staff, but Danielle is always short and rude to me every time I come in. The last time I came in, she was raising her voice at one of her employees over something (I couldn't tell what it was about, her words were loud and all over the place) and that was it for me. I'm friends with ex employees of this place and they said she used to belittle and berate them on an normal basis. I will not be coming back until she's gone, and for all of you out there that have a general respect for human life, I highly recommend you do not support this behavior. I used to go here all the time but went in awhile back and stood at the ordering counter for a good 10-15 minutes waiting for someone to come out and it was like no one was even there. I walked out. Another time I went in for breakfast and witnessed a manager yelling at a customer. So unprofessional. I was very disappointed in the service. I used to go to the Everkrisp in Destin 2x a week until it shut down. I was SO excited to be in Santa Rosa beach today so i could stop and get my everkrisp fix. There were 3 people ahead of me in line and 3 workers. I waited about 15-20 mins before i was up for my turn to order. I was then told that the worker couldn't help me yet because he had to-go orders to fulfill - meanwhile the other workers were wiping down the countertop and doing cleaning duties behind the bar. I politely waited another 5 minutes and then asked the original guy how many to go orders he had to fulfill before getting to me. His response were "a couple". He then asked the other worker to come assist me (not sure why she didn't come over in the first place?). I finally received my food after being in the store for quite a while. The couple before me had to change their menu item several times because of the ingredients that were lacking. The protein i wanted was out as well. 4 stars because i do love the food but my experience was terrible today and they should consider restaffing and keeping up with their ingredients. read more
