Throughout the years, I've had it professionally cleaned from time to time, but I never invested in a really thorough deep cleaning until recently when I used Ken at American Tile Cleaning. He did a total restoration on the flooring over the course of a couple of days. He worked an absolute miracle on the floors. Every grout line was back to the original color. Huge areas where lemon juice, tomatoes and coffee had been spilled were intensely worked on and the whole floor was brought back to its original glory. It actually shines again. I will attach pictures shortly, but the difference is absolutely remarkable. Besides just being overall dull and dirty it was stained in multiple areas and the grout was brownish. When he was finished, you could see all the natural striations in the Stone and it shines so beautifully now you can actually see the reflection from the overhead lights on the floor. Ken is an absolute professional. He loves what he does and it shows. As stated before, it was a 2 to 3 day job so it was not cheap, but I have seen where cheap gets me by using other companies in the past. This was worth every penny. I'm sure it's just their boilerplate excuse but whoever they employ, I wouldn't trust in my house. And I don't trust them now bc either they're lying to me ... or they're employing sketchy ppl. And no apology either. Just "whoops" can't make it again - 16 minutes AFTER they were supposed to arrive. I changed my schedule for them twice, set an alarm on the weekend that I didn't need to set, did multiple loads of laundry and otherwise prepped starting at 7 am. And no apology and no-show. You can know and say all you want but they will say they can't see it on their photos so therefore they have to take it from your deposit money. He gave me a thorough quote over email. On the morning of the cleaning he and the owner of the company were there early and walked me through what they'd be doing. They also recommended some additional things they could cover while here at reasonable rates. Kyle communicated with me daily on progress and walked everything with me a few times before they completed to ensure they weren't missing anything. After they completed I found a few spots that got missed and they addressed them right away. Given that the main thing with construction is dust, they explained that if any additional dust settled they would come back and address it. Overall a really great experience.
