I'm not sure if it's the chemicals he's using that attracts the dirt but they look worse than when he initially cleaned them. I originally gave him 5 stars but just 32 days and they look like this? I'll just clean them myself and save the $160 dollars he charged. With that money, I can just but a water filter that hooks up to the water hose and be good. I asked for him to clean them again and he blamed the weather and saying he had a lot of dust this year. In 32 days? It should not look like this. Very disappointing that he didn't try to make it right and come back for free to clean them or atleast offer a discount.

But even after cleaning it out, the smell wasn't going away. Then the vent started giving off either smoke or steam, and in a panic I immediately turned off the dryer. Thank God I didn't start a dryer fire. The second I shut it off and made sure everything was ok, I opened Yelp and searched for a dryer vent cleaner. Chris's Insulation came up, he had great ratings, he was super close by, so after calling a different service and going to voicemail, I called Chris. Chris picked up after the second ring. When I told him that I needed someone to clean our dryer vent and what had happened, he said he could come out either between 5:00 and 6:00 pm that evening or the next day. It was already mid-afternoon when I called, so I was surprised to hear him say he could still come out same-day, but I decided to have him do that since I was free and also still a little shaky following what happened with the vent either smoking or steaming. Chris showed up during the window he quoted and wasted no time getting to work. He started the second he arrived and was done within the hour. His pricing was incredibly reasonable and fair and so far, in the couple of weeks since he was here, we've had no issues with the dryer. They arrived on time and got right to work. Randy and Reese were complete professionals and cared for our house. Wholly poop Randy climbed on a 12x12 pitch roof 35 ft up roof with just a ladder and serviced out spark arrester and exhaust. Damn impressed. Reese climbed 25 ft on extension ladder to clean our cathedral windows and returned several times when he saw a bit of debris. All came out perfect in the afternoon sunlight. Can't say enough good. We were also recommended to having the roof soft washed. At first, my husband wasn't very interested in the soft wash idea. That changed after he saw them cleaning one of our neighbor's roofs and how great it looked! I honestly didn't realize just how filthy our roof was. We've lived here for two years, and my husband said it looked like the roof had never been cleaned. I was able to convince him to go ahead with the soft wash, and we are so happy with the results!
