They worked hard to get me seen promptly and were very direct with a plan of action. I felt comfortable with the team.

When I arrived, the desk lady was most cordial and helpful and while I was talking to her a gent came up and assured me they would get to me as soon as a room opened. Not sure if it was my age (78) or what but that was nice. I waited about 15 min and was in to a room where a young lady did all the normal. The doctor was exceptionally thorough and concerned with my condition. We discussed and settled on next steps. I was really impressed with the doctor's care and I've had plenty of experience on the patient side of the practice of medicine. Wish she was my primary.

Recent examples include: 1. I was flagged for extreme blood pressure. However, the blood pressure was taken incorrectly with my feet hanging off the chair, my arm hanging straight down, my back not rested, and the cuff was way too tight. 2. I took my son in for a strep test, and they said it was negative. His symptoms continued, and when we visited his pediatrician, another test confirmed it was positive. The urgent care didn't swab far enough back. In both cases, my primary care physicians confirmed that urgent care failed to follow correct procedures. I plan to complain to Evergreen directly, but I hope others read this and choose a different provider for urgent care. These experiences have left me very unhappy.

The nursing…read morestaff disregarded my pain and were more focused on moving me to a back corner room so they didn't have to hear my moaning in pain. My wife (who's also a nurse at a different Swedish facility) asked my nurse to call pharmacy and expedite verifying my pain meds but the nurse sarcastically responded "Congratulations, you're a nurse!" Refusing to call pharmacy, and said "We can all hear him screaming..trust me". There were three nurses sitting at the nurses station periodically giggling and looking at their phones when my wife made the request. However the doctor- Casey M Krebs was by far the worst part of my visit. She seemed incapable of creating a care plan and didn't show any urgency. She seemed more focused on pacifying us for the moment and quickly leaving the room than actually helping us understand our options or initiating the process of me transferring to a hospital with urology. We were still asking her questions as she was trying to close the door and leave. It was obvious she did not like it when my wife asked any questions on my behalf, and completely disregarded her concern that the CT results showed severe hydronephrosis. The doctor said "That is not the focus. Im not concerned about his hydronephrosis, Im concerned about his kidney stones." I got such poor care that I decided to leave AMA while still in severe pain and drive to Swedish Edmonds, which was the best decision I made that day. To be honest I'm not sure the staff at Mill Creek even knew the process of transferring me, let alone doing it quickly. Once I arrived at Edmonds they took my case seriously from the start, scheduling me for emergency surgery the next day to remove the obstructive stone. My pain was well managed and my whole care team was incredibly skilled and empathetic. I am still completely disheartened with my experience at Mill Creek and would advise ANYONE considering it to go anywhere else.

Beet red from head to toe, hives, trouble breathing, disoriented, swollen tongue. I was on FaceTime with him during the check in while driving to meet him. From what I heard, the intake admin professionals cared more about his ability to pay than his potentially life threatening anaphylactic reaction. It took a while to collect his credentials when he was very obviously in need of immediate medical intervention. When I arrived, I went straight into his exam room. The medical staff were not moving quickly in any way. When I insisted they speed up to treat the reaction, I was given eye rolls and told snarkily, "you aren't helping." Guess what? I was the only person actually helping get my husband the urgent care he desperately needed. The staff was stunningly lackadaisical. Eventually they called 911 (why are firefighters better equipped than doctors????) and gave him meds and an epipen shot. FINALLY. One staff member apologized for her comments once EMS arrived. Save yourself the trouble. Just go straight to the Emergency Room. The firefighters actually told me my husband should have just pulled over and called 911 instead of trying to get care at this place. They did not give Woodinville Evergreen Urgent care a good review. Last straw for us. Will absolutely never trust this location for my family's medical care ever again. Why is this place called an "urgent care" when they are not equipped to deal with urgent medical needs? Edited to note that the "business owner" just replied with the same generic response given to all bad reviews. I guess it's up to me to call them to help them. I did call the "patient relations" line and got a generic voicemail. Edited again to note that I've called the "business owner" 4 times now and get a generic voicemail every time.

Then I checked the other urgent care locations and saw they were at least the same price. They do tend to prescribe medication more often here than other places, but when I've expressed concern with a specific Rx I had issues with, they were quick to find an alternative. The biggest reason I love this place is the time it takes. I'm usually out the door in less than 15 minutes (with an appointment). That includes greeting reception, getting vitals from an assistant, answering questions about why I'm there, talking to the doc, and leaving with my visit summary. I don't come here when I'm feeling well - I want to be back home, wrapped in a blanket, hopefully with some antibiotics or medication to make my plague less miserable. More than any other place I've been, this checks that box. If you're looking for a conversation about how your family is doing, make an appointment with your PCP. I have also NEVER EVER had a problem with anything financial related to any of my care over the last ten years. Evergreen Hospital is solid. I especially highly recommend the hospital doctors that saved my life when I suffered acute respiratory failure with hypoxia. Here are reviews of two doctors that really made a difference in my health. Very very impressed with both Dr. Young and Dr. Picazo, who both work in pulmonology critical care. I met them both at the end of my hospital stay after I had initially been admitted to the ICU during a frightening, truly life-or-death medical crisis. Both doctors were knowledgeable, professional, and clearly highly talented physicians. Despite their obvious expertise, what stood out most was how personable, compassionate, and down-to-earth they both were. Both doctors surprised me with how relatable they were. I felt relieved and comfortable asking questions during an extremely stressful time. I would recommend Evergreen Health to any and all looking for expert, compassionate and affordable care. He explained everything clearly, never made me feel rushed, and spent a generous amount of time discussing my care and concerns with me. I deeply appreciated both his medical expertise and his genuine kindness. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Picazo to anyone seeking outstanding pulmonary and critical care treatment.

I stood there for a good 7 minutes standing there by the sign that says "please wait here" until someone finally looked up and acknowledge me. I almost took a photo because it was almost comical how I was just standing there for that long and there were so many receptionist for one building and no one else in there. It gets worse unfortunately the doctor I was seen by completely dismissed the whole reason while I was there to see him. He didn't ask me any questions about myself how I was feeling why I was there or why my doctor referred me there. He was blatantly dismissive and honestly came across misogynistic. A wasted copay and future bill i'm going to have to pay. An added misfortunate bonus the parking situation is terrible there and the building feels old and dirty.

After having been, I can tell you that all of these reviews are completely legit. Now I was the first person in so I can't speak to the wait times but they got me back immediately with a nurse practitioner named "Netta" who was an absolute rockstar! She had amazing bedside manner, was super empathetic, knowledgeable, made me feel my concerns were all heard and cared for. I haven't received this level of total care in a LONG TIME! I was hoping for a different outcome but I have to respect their honesty. In long A scrape on my leg had gotten infected, so I was hoping to get an Rx for some antibiotics and hurry home for the Hawks game. They checked me in in minutes, and found my insurance that had just taken effect a couple days earlier. Nice! The system texted me some info to fill out, and she told me it would list me as being seen in about 25 minutes, but it would be much sooner. The PA came out within 60 seconds to say that they didn't house one piece of equipment I'd need as part of a full eval, and I should go around the corner to the ER. He definitely felt bad delivering this news, and explained it even more thoroughly than he really needed to. I got it right away. He was quick to say that they would cancel the visit and not charge me. Even though I ended up missing the whole game, he was spot-on about what the ER would do to evaluate the infection. I got great care there, thankfully much of it in front of a fuzzy, dim TV showing the game. So I can't really complain about anything other than my own procrastination for leaving the trip until late afternoon.
