I saw Michael Li. He didn't ask any questions about my ailment. Seemed to rush me through the appointment, even though I was the only person at the clinic and I showed up on time.
He suggested a medication that would help my symptoms, but when i asked how much it cost (as a cash patient) he left the room for 5 minutes and came back with "I don't know and I don't want you to be mad at me if it ends up being a lot, so you don't need it". I asked the simple question which he didn't understand at first "If you don't know how much it costs, how would you charge me for it?". He said it's codes and they would send me a bill later.
As a cash patient, it's my right (Patient Bill of Rights) to know how much a service will cost before agreeing to it. This is not unusual and it's not rocket science, but they couldn't care less. So i missed out on something that could have made me feel better because they were too lazy to look up a price.... after paying 250 for a visit.
Most other urgent care clinics around cost less than 200 for a visit, and this place charges 250. For 250, I was rushed out and the Dr didn't seem very interested in my ailment. Zero stars. read more
