I eventually felt unsafe with them caring for my children and found a much better primary care physician who handled everything in just a day. which is also a previous physician that worked at stepping stone while under the previous management. if the management was still under the previous owners, the rating would be much higher.

Extremely disappointing experience with Swedish Hospital pediatrics…read more I was billed twice for the same visit, which was a routine infant wellness appointment. One charge was around $320 for the wellness visit and another around $340 labeled as an outpatient visit for the exact same appointment. Previously, I was also charged separately for a 20 minute visit, which is not a short visit, and another longer visit. It felt like I was being billed by the minute without any clear explanation upfront. The breaking point was during a wellness visit when the doctor asked about a prior sinus issue and briefly checked it. That alone triggered a second charge. I was never informed that answering a question during the same appointment would result in additional billing. After multiple calls, they refused to correct it. This feels misleading and unacceptable. Parents should not be penalized for basic care during a scheduled visit. I have since switched providers to a practice that actually prioritizes patients over billing tactics. Take your loved ones somewhere else where they care about providing care more than ripping you off.

He pays attention to your medical history and if you have family members in his care as well he pays attention to the genetic aspect also. I remember my very last appointment with him (not knowing it was my last ) he asked at the end if I needed any referrals put in or tests ordered.... I wish I would've asked for a few then not knowing that the providers I would be seeing for years to come would laugh at me or ignore me when I suggest a certain lab test or a referral to a specialist. I began seeing him for some serious issues with early onset psoriatic arthritis as well as my regular primary care physician in the early 2000's within our hometown of Stanwood. For approx ten years he provided me with excellent care and referrals to specialists and I always felt like he genuinely cared about his patients and that my well being mattered to him. I can recall that he had delivered so many babies in the town and surrounding area that he devoted an entire wall of photos with happy parents and their newborns. He loved people and was always a pleasure to see. I always felt I could be open and honest to trust him with any issue I chose to share with him. Eventually the clinic in Stanwood had been bought out by a larger healthcare company (as most have over the years) and I lost touch with where Dr Grierson had gone following his departure. So after about 3 years luck was on my side and I had heard that he was once again practicing just a few miles away in Marysville. Although the quality care and help he gave me was always present, the corporate care structure is a little different and not for the better in my opinion, but I was grateful to be able to get in to see him again and I still remain a client today. I just want to thank him and say that no matter what the circumstances, he's an exceptional healthcare professional and a great person. If he returns to practice at some point I would be one of the many patients trying to get onto his patient list because he's a valuable asset to the healthcare industry and part of what makes the American healthcare system a little more tolerable. I know many would stand in solidarity with Dr Grierson and I would be proud to let anyone know that he's one of the best now just as I have for many years. If there's a clinic, corporation or medical practice that's lucky enough to have him they better not think twice because good doctors that are compassionate and humane don't come around too much anymore and it saddens me to think that he's not doing his life's work, especially if he isn't ready to retire He is the rare gem that should be appreciated and grateful to have him work in their clinic or community and we need him. If you see this Dr Grierson I thank you for all the years I was fortunate enough to have a doctor that was kind and informative on any issue I was concerned about. That isn't common in very many healthcare clinics today. The corporations and pharmaceutical companies have a stranglehold and monopoly on the care we get and profit always comes first in this country,l. Healthcare is a matter of life and death and therefore profit motives should not exist within that construct I hope you know you're important to so many people. We need you and we care about you as much as you've shown that you care about us, your colleagues and community and the well being of your community. I recently moved out of state and was told I'd be able to fill my meds one time while I find a new doctor for my kid. That pharmacy was out of stock until the following week. So I ask them to send it to Fred meyer. They end up sending the wrong script and I call to let them know. The nurse said the doctor isn't going to fill another script because he already tried three times and is no longer comfortable. I tried explaining the whole thing but she treated me like an idiot and told me he probably won't send another request because he has so already a few times. I again tried to explain and she interrupted to tell me they already tried sending it. I was so upset and my son is one day away from being out of medication at this point. Thankfully the on call doctor realized their mistake and corrected it. I just couldn't believe how rude and dismissive this nurse was. The office is clean, and they seem to be running a tight ship because I hardly ever have to wait in the waiting room or patient room. I always use the patient room to nurse my baby after our visit. They have had no problem letting me hang out in the room for 30 minutes afterwards to make sure she gets a full feeding and diaper change if needed.

First, the hold time is ridiculous, once connected, keep your fingers crossed that you are dealing with a staff member that is competent and compassionate and LISTENS! We've had some insurance challenges lately and been talking to the insurance company and then relaying messages back to Allegro since March of 2025. Have dealt with Denise, Lexi and Cassandra, all 3 pleasant and tried their best to help. Lisa, on the other hand is rude and incompetent. As another review mentioned, Lisa does not seem to care. From the get-go of her answering the call, she was telling me "Hold hold hold hold!!!!", "oh oh oh hang on", "let's get to one thing", "just answer my question". Then told me "I am putting you on hold" - all in 5 minutes or less. When I responded with "No, you don't even know what my question is", she said "I am putting you on hold anyway". Today, the office manager Radu called to extend their apology and explained that Lisa was perhaps trying to read the notes on my account? Perhaps, but there is certainly a civil way to tell the customer that. Although, based on other reviews mentioning Lisa in particular, this seems like a pattern of the "I just don't care" behavior. An employee represents the company, in the short 5 minutes conversation, Lisa made us feel unwelcome, unvalued.

My son was…read morehaving an extremely painful ongoing and somewhat baffling problem and after ending up in the ER again, the doctor there was very concerned and made some calls to see if a colleague he knew would be interested in taking the case. That colleague was Dr Lowe at Skagit Pediatric. She is a lovely caring person and her gentle yet no nonsense manner has been just right for my son (and me). She has advocated for him time and again for a variety of reasons. She's called his school to make sure they have been adequately (and legally) supporting him. She's called in various other specialists whom she's thought would be helpful. She's monitored him consistently over the years and is the person responsible for getting his health back on track. Dr Lowe has spent time getting to know my son. This is no easy thing. I don't have enough characters to go into how important this is for him. The second he even slightly senses condescension or the person who's too flippant and thinks they know where he's coming from (they probably don't), he shuts down. If it's bad enough (for him), he will fire them as his provider. He doesn't mess around and Dr Lowe has passed every hurdle with flying colors. With that said, he has also seen several other providers at Skagit Pediatric when Dr Lowe hasn't been available and every single one has been thorough, caring, and really listens. The receptionists at the front have never been anything but nice and caring. Sometimes a bit disorganized but never rude or dismissive. I've spoken with them on the phone many times and in person even more. l've also seen them handle any number of other people and l've never seen anything other than friendliness. Despite the difficulties that COVID has presented, we still have had nothing but proper, friendly care from Skagit Pediatric.

This does not work for us since I have limited PTO, and I do not have the ability to predict when my daughter's asthmatic airway was going to be reactive to the cold weather. They gave terrible customer service because of a cough and we were seeking medical attention to have her breathing medication renewed since the prescription expired. They followed COVID protocols to the extreme, and they do not take into consideration that the parent knows and understands their own kid's health. My daughter did not have a fever or shortness of breath. She has a reactive airway and the cold weather makes it reactive. My daughter is allowed to have a cough. My daughter should not be denied medical care for their convenience. This is a terrible practice that eliminated humanity from their protocols.
