This is the finest family owned Naturopathic physicians office I have ever experienced…read more Caring doctors and a dog friendly office. The staff does everything they could possibly do to care for and treat patients from blood testing to doctor prescribed treatment programs specifically designed for each and every individual who enters the facility. It was established and grounded in Mill Creek, WA for the first twelve years. During the pandemic served the public relentlessly and expanded into a second office in Kalispell, MT and opened a new wellness center in South Everett and continues to grow with physicians , medical massage therapy and specifically trained professionals in Integrative Care, including referrals to chiropractic and acupuncture as part of an extensive team. I have been helped by Dr. Young, Dr. Morlan and Dr. Fitzpatrick as well as extra work done last summer by the newest doctor, Elizabeth Day. Thank you, Purity Health.

I received a bill, that I had already paid, two years beyond the service date. I went back and forth with them for quite some time and eventually, they agreed to drop the duplicate bill. However, I don't think I should have to defend myself against payments I've already made. I would expect that the billing department be capable of keeping track of payments if this was a professional establishment. I received another bill on Friday for services from June of last year - well I tell you what, I've never received a bill for these services until now, and they had the nerve to charge me a late fee. It makes me wonder if they are really doing so poorly that they have to send bills years late to cash out on late fees? Do they need the extra $10 that desperately? I have requested a copy of the invoice number and date of the last invoice sent to me and we will see what they say. Overall, the service I received at the old location was good. The new location, I was disappointed, My bill says that I am no longer welcome back, for not paying the bill, that they didn't send me until a full year had passed. Unbelievable. RUN!

Dr. Cochran has been my physician since 2017. I came to him originally with MAJOR autoimmune issues…read moreand no diagnosis...after almost a year of being kicked around from specialist to specialist at a large WA based hospital. By the time I found Dr. Cochran I was sick as a dog and had zero answers. Right off the bat Dr. Cochran listened, and actually looked at my medical history...for more than 5 seconds. What truly sets him apart is that he empowered me to be my own advocate. In my experience, most MDS don't encourage their patients to educate themselves, to learn about the human body, or a specific disease, or different ways to treat it. Dr. Cochran absolutely does. He really is a wealth of medical knowledge, and always seems to be learning more himself. In other words, he isn't complacent, which is usually what I experience meeting with an MD at most major clinics. My health battle most certainly has had its ups and downs. It's taken time, energy, money and some experimentation at times, but I can seriously say I have a life again. I was basically bedridden when this all started, and now I can do things I thought I'd lost forever, and I actually have Hope. I'd say the only true "downsides" to functional medicine, is that the cost tends to be high depending on the therapies you choose, and there can be a lot of trial and error depending on what your medical issues are...but this isn't really an IHC issue, it's this way across the board unfortunately, and contrary to popular belief good and qualified Naturopathic doctors aren't trying to "rob you." They have high costs too, just to run their clinics at all, and they don't typically get the same assistance that major hospitals and clinics receive. I feel like I could talk for hours about why this is and how broken our larger medical system has become but at the end of the day, you just have to ask yourself, how much is your health worth? I truly believe that health is...everything, and when you lose it, you lose a lot of what makes life truly beautiful too, what makes life worth living...so finding the right doctor who cares about your health as much as you do, is HUGE. I would absolutely refer anyone to IHC, sick or not! PS, Dr. Cochran is amazing, but the rest of the team and staff are too, It's just a really warm, empathetic and welcoming environment all the way around...which in my opinion counts for a lot when you're feeling like total crud.

The appt was, well it didn't help the issue I was having. I received many calls to make additional appts, he even suggested twice a week, which I did not do. Then I get a bill in the mail claiming my appt was not covered by my insurance because, "there was a hidden deductible for any office visits that are longer than 40 minutes." Really??? I'm puzzled that any insurance would have some hidden charge clause that an appt lasting longer than 40 min would result in a denial of payment. I called and left a message that this office confirmed my Coverage (otherwise why would I make the appt to begin with) so why would I owe? And my insurance said they don't have a deductible and secondly, they don't have a time clause of any appts. I received a call back and the guy apologized and said, "oh, that wasn't supposed to be on your statement"...... Long story short, they don't accept my insurance...but didn't know at the time that they didnt??? And had I gone 2 times a week as suggested....I wouldve been looking at an almost 600.00 bill....
