Don't bother making an appointment, the time of your appointment doesn't mean anything. They are constantly 1.5 hours behind every time.

I came here after Edmonds Swedish Urgent Care was dismissive of my request, per my oncologist, to get a Covid test to confirm my positive home-test and get treatment due to being high-risk (I'm stage 4 cancer). I left there after the front desk lady said, "We don't give confirmation covid tests," and continued to dismiss me without even asking me any questions or talking with me. That's when I drove to Evergreen on 214th. At Evergreen, everything was great from when I walked in to when I left! The desk gal was kind and efficient, greeting me nicely and asking questions about how I was feeling, and what I needed, then getting me in quickly. The nurse was warm and knowledgeable, explaining what things might go into considering if they did a covid confirmation test or provided treatment with Paxlovid. Then the doctor was fantastic - a kind and intelligent woman with long red hair and an authentic aura about her. She asked about my situation and cared about my immune-suppressed state. The Evergreen doctor ordered a Covid nose swab and discussed other things they might do to help with the symptoms she asked about and be sure my weakened immune system was supported. She even helpfully explained that I likely wouldn't get a fever with Covid because my cancer drugs keep my immune system from being able to fight back as well against sickness (and fevers are the body fighting infection or virus). I left feeling well-cared for, knowing they'd contact me shortly with test results and be sending a Paxlovid prescription to my local pharmacy if needed and likely an antibiotic to be sure they shored up my compromised immune system as much as possible. All in all a fabulous contrast to what I experienced at Edmonds Swedish Urgent Care! I highly recommend Evergreen near 527 and 208th St SE!

When I arrived, the desk lady was most cordial and helpful and while I was talking to her a gent came up and assured me they would get to me as soon as a room opened. Not sure if it was my age (78) or what but that was nice. I waited about 15 min and was in to a room where a young lady did all the normal. The doctor was exceptionally thorough and concerned with my condition. We discussed and settled on next steps. I was really impressed with the doctor's care and I've had plenty of experience on the patient side of the practice of medicine. Wish she was my primary.

Recent examples include: 1. I was flagged for extreme blood pressure. However, the blood pressure was taken incorrectly with my feet hanging off the chair, my arm hanging straight down, my back not rested, and the cuff was way too tight. 2. I took my son in for a strep test, and they said it was negative. His symptoms continued, and when we visited his pediatrician, another test confirmed it was positive. The urgent care didn't swab far enough back. In both cases, my primary care physicians confirmed that urgent care failed to follow correct procedures. I plan to complain to Evergreen directly, but I hope others read this and choose a different provider for urgent care. These experiences have left me very unhappy.

My wife (who's also a nurse at a different Swedish facility) asked my nurse to call pharmacy and expedite verifying my pain meds but the nurse sarcastically responded "Congratulations, you're a nurse!" Refusing to call pharmacy, and said "We can all hear him screaming..trust me". There were three nurses sitting at the nurses station periodically giggling and looking at their phones when my wife made the request. However the doctor- Casey M Krebs was by far the worst part of my visit. She seemed incapable of creating a care plan and didn't show any urgency. She seemed more focused on pacifying us for the moment and quickly leaving the room than actually helping us understand our options or initiating the process of me transferring to a hospital with urology. We were still asking her questions as she was trying to close the door and leave. It was obvious she did not like it when my wife asked any questions on my behalf, and completely disregarded her concern that the CT results showed severe hydronephrosis. The doctor said "That is not the focus. Im not concerned about his hydronephrosis, Im concerned about his kidney stones." I got such poor care that I decided to leave AMA while still in severe pain and drive to Swedish Edmonds, which was the best decision I made that day. To be honest I'm not sure the staff at Mill Creek even knew the process of transferring me, let alone doing it quickly. Once I arrived at Edmonds they took my case seriously from the start, scheduling me for emergency surgery the next day to remove the obstructive stone. My pain was well managed and my whole care team was incredibly skilled and empathetic. I am still completely disheartened with my experience at Mill Creek and would advise ANYONE considering it to go anywhere else.

Beet red from head to toe, hives, trouble breathing, disoriented, swollen tongue. I was on FaceTime with him during the check in while driving to meet him. From what I heard, the intake admin professionals cared more about his ability to pay than his potentially life threatening anaphylactic reaction. It took a while to collect his credentials when he was very obviously in need of immediate medical intervention. When I arrived, I went straight into his exam room. The medical staff were not moving quickly in any way. When I insisted they speed up to treat the reaction, I was given eye rolls and told snarkily, "you aren't helping." Guess what? I was the only person actually helping get my husband the urgent care he desperately needed. The staff was stunningly lackadaisical. Eventually they called 911 (why are firefighters better equipped than doctors????) and gave him meds and an epipen shot. FINALLY. One staff member apologized for her comments once EMS arrived. Save yourself the trouble. Just go straight to the Emergency Room. The firefighters actually told me my husband should have just pulled over and called 911 instead of trying to get care at this place. They did not give Woodinville Evergreen Urgent care a good review. Last straw for us. Will absolutely never trust this location for my family's medical care ever again. Why is this place called an "urgent care" when they are not equipped to deal with urgent medical needs? Edited to note that the "business owner" just replied with the same generic response given to all bad reviews. I guess it's up to me to call them to help them. I did call the "patient relations" line and got a generic voicemail. Edited again to note that I've called the "business owner" 4 times now and get a generic voicemail every time.

I asked my oncologist at Fred Hutch and she told me to please right away go to the nearest Urgent Care and get the infection confirmed (in case there was a problem with a home test) and get treatment, since I am high risk. I drove to the Swedish Edmonds Urgent Care. I walked in at about 2:40 p.m. on March 5th, 2026 and spoke with a woman working at the window who had long dark hair pulled back in a ponytail. I said to her, I have stage 4 cancer and took a covid test that came back positive and my oncologist would like me to get that confirmed and to get treatment, because I'm high risk. The woman responded flatly, "We don't do that here, just give a covid test." She asked no questions and didn't talk beyond the denial. I then explained that I'd used a home test, so my oncologist would like me to confirm with an Urgent Care test and get treated, likely with Paxlovid. The lady repeated that they don't do that there, and they don't just give Paxlovid. She went on to say kurtly that they treat people with symptoms, they don't provide tests. The desk gal didn't even bother to ask me why I'd given myself the covid test or all me any questions at all! People usually take a home test because they aren't feeling well. Instead of being courteous she just went directly to the negative, "We don't do that here." Then in a disinterested tone, she said, "If you want to, you can sit over there and wait to talk to someone about symptoms." I told her never mind, because I needed to also confirm the Covid test results and if they couldn't do that I'd just go somewhere else - maybe an urgent care that is willing to help a high risk person with stage 4 cancer and Covid! This cold dismissive woman heard me twice say I am stage 4 and that my oncologist wanted me to come in to confirm the Covid test results and be treated, yet still she still offered no help whatsoever and very few words at all in addressing my request. Avoid this place, it is not urgent care because it doesn't care, period.
