They were all prompt with being there on time which they get credit for because I appreciate that. One contractor came in at $6000 another contractor at $5000 and one more at $8500. The funny thing is, they were quoting me anywhere between six and eight Trees. The guy that quoted me on six, I pointed out two others and said what about those and he had never even noticed them. Ryan comes out shows me that there are 12 trees that really need to come down and explain why then he pointed out that my oak tree needed two branches removed in order for the oak tree to remain healthy. They would just take care of that while they were up on the lift. Also, one of the biggest trees in the front yard he said they would grind the stump down after cutting the tree so that my yard would remain looking nice. All this for $6000!!!!!!!!!! Ryan was prompt. His crew was respectful and very polite. What also impressed me was the open line of communication with Ryan. After the big snowstorm in March 2026, they were out there working while the warm weather was melting the snow pretty quickly - Ryan actually video called me to show me how saturated the yard was and explained why they would need to quit working. I appreciated them, not damaging the yard and having the courtesy to call and explain everything to me. The following weekend his men where out there, raking up sticks and then used a very powerful blower to add the finishing touches to my yard and patios. Always a practice of mine is to give the company a chance to fix it before I finalize my review. My weeping Chair to had caught a disease and was dying. The arborist Cory came out to diagnose that it was probably during a time when it was cold and then hot and one of the branches may have caught an infection. He recommended several treatments to help with its health, and give the tree a better chance of survival. I agreed and the first treatment was scheduled. The first person that came out was not focused because he treated the wrong tree and treated some bushes that weren't really part of the treatment plan. When I called the company, they explained to me that they had communication problems and the scheduler was different from the office doing the evaluation I also have a yard alarm in which I reinforced over and over again in Cory put in his notes that I need to be notified before the technician came out to treat my yard because I had to turn off the alarm before it called the police. The first treatment person did not do this because he did not read the notes that Cory had made in the work order I've been called out of my office to deal with the police, possibly coming out to my house because the alarm had been triggered Upon calling the office, Alex had apologized and said that the person did not read the notes. A follow up retreat was performed today by Matt a very experienced technician. I was very pleased with his knowledge and expert treatment of my tree! I have several treatments to go, so this review will probably be updated periodically.

I called several tree removal companies. Ed showed-up the same day I called, accessed the job and provided a written bid. Ed & crew returned that week with all equipment that was needed to properly remove the trees. There's another review posted for Ed Montufar's business, and I also experience the same level of exceptional services as they did and reaffirm their experience with Montufar's Tree Service was same as mine: * Promptly showed-up, as scheduled, with a written paper estimate * Extremely reasonable pricing * Had all the proper equipment to do the job: bucket truck, ropes, chipper and stump grinder * Had all the personal gear for safety; appropriate clothing & boots, helmets, googles and gloves * They are INSURED and BONDED! On the 3 large trees, as they cut branches, they carefully lowered them to the ground, being mindful of the proximity of the house, fence and the ground AC unit.
