Most of the time this holds true. I only give five stars to businesses that beat this truism. Dean and his crew were responsive and communicative. Dean came out to quote my job very soon after I called him. He even called to tell me that he was going to be just five minutes late for our appointment, much appreciated. Dean was very informative and helpful in assessing our trees and determining the best course of action. You can tell he's got a ton of experience and knowledge. He told me when he had another job in our area and offered to "save [me] a few bucks" if he could do our trees at the same time. He quoted a fair price which included cleanup and removal of the logs. They took out two diseased trees in our back yard. They removed all the debris, left our yard clean, and left minimal stumps. (They cut the smaller stump so low it's hidden under the pine straw) Definitely an above average job. Highly recommended.

Cathy came out immediately to give a quote which was more than competitive. She is so friendly and knowledgeable she knew right away why the tree had died and what we should watch for in the future. The team came out the next day and they are amazing to watch. They carefully took the tree down, hand carried out the trunk sections and branches and cleaned the area. When they were finished everything looked like before, minus the tree. I highly recommend Mytreemen because they are professional, very knowledgeable and fast but also because they're wonderful to deal with. Cumming, GA 30041

I heard horror stories of $16,000 removals and saw a swinging crane knock down my neighbor's chimney with a huge suspended log. My tree problem wasn't as big of a deal. I was lucky. That said, I called a few places and they either didn't want to be bothered by a 25 year old Leyland cypress over my sunroom, or wouldn't come out for a quote for a week, then said they'd schedule me for JANUARY (2 months later). I called Cathy in the afternoon and she booked Chris to give a quote in the morning. I hadn't had many quotes, but they were all above my comfort -- obviously there was plenty of work out there for months to come. Chris told me he could cut it safely and haul it for the lowest price. He also had a guy who would eliminate the stump and upturned roots for $100. But how long would I have to wait? "We can do it tomorrow afternoon between jobs." They brought a crew of 6 and saved my fence in the process (the tree was leaning over my fence, within two inches of the top). 4 of them hauled sections while two managed/climbed/cut. Chris came in to check and give instructions at the start and at the end of the project. He also reviewed the completion to make sure it was to my satisfaction. On the way out, at my prompting, he gave me some quotes on standing trees that I may want to take down in February when it's cheapest. Above and beyond: Since this was a neighbor's tree, Chris gave me good recommendations on what needed to happen with the remaining 15 Leylands that look at the end of their lifespan, crafted a letter for me to use as a template, and worked with me to make our 50/50 neighbor split easy. They kept in phone and text communication any time I had a question. He even wore a mask for our review without my request. Bonus: His stump grinder contact was reliable and reached out the next day without any prompting. Now it's like nothing happened! I hope to never have to call them again, but if I need some trees cut down, I'll call Cathy and Chris.

M & M was called to complete a stump grinding job by the company that cut down a large tree for me…read more The two gentlemen that showed up were extremely dirty, but I attributed it to the nature of their work. They completed the job, but initially left a few large roots. They went back and redid them, but also pushed a large pile of dirt to the side of my lawn. When I commented about the dirt pile, I was told, "Don't you have a husband?" That, coupled with a few other inappropriate flirty comments and wandering eyes (I believe his name was Art), left me feeling uneasy. I just wanted these guys to go. A few days later, I contacted M & M through their website and I was told to call Mark through an email. I called him and he explained that the state they left the area in was typical of stump grinding due to all the roots (which I can accept as I know nothing about stump grinding). After several attempts to get a word in, I tried to convey that I was also very put off by the unprofessional nature of the employees that did the actual job. These remarks were mostly ignored and went on unaddressed as I continued to listen to how I should accept the dirt pile and that M & M doesn't do "clean up." Mark offered to return $20 of the $100 I spent on the job, which I kindly declined. I am so disappointed with how I was treated in both cases. I cannot recommend anyone do business with a company that treats their customers like this.
