ZERO STARS: A Nightmare Experience with Deuces Tree Service & Removal…read more Hiring Deuces Tree Service & Removal has been, without question, the worst contractor experience I have ever had. The level of broken promises, unprofessionalism, and resulting damage is unacceptable. We hired Deuces for a primary tree removal project ( 2 large trees with add on of 3 smaller trees), which the owner personally assured us he would complete himself within two days, starting in July 2025 (July 21, 2025). We paid a required $2,000 upfront as requested. A Cascade of Failures and Deceptive Practices Illegal Operation & Hapeville Fine: The contractor failed to obtain the required city permit from Hapeville before beginning work, resulting in a fine being issued directly to Deuces for operating illegally. Subcontractor Deception: after taking our payment, the owner broke his promise and sent an unknown subcontractor to our property without any notification or consent, and the subcontractor started cutting down the wrong tree, and damaged our home, gutters and knocked down exterior light. Catastrophic Property Damage: The subcontractor caused serious damage to our home, including knocking a light fixture down from the house, and shockingly, started cutting down the wrong tree, which is now dying, and a larger tree is leaning closer to the house than before. Insurance Denial: The owner explicitly assured me he carried insurance to cover any potential damage. Now that damage has occurred, he denies ever making this statement. Major Project Abandonment: The primary tree removal project we hired and paid for was never completed. The small amount of work performed on three smaller trees was not the main job and is certainly not worth the $2,000 advance payment. Unprofessional Conduct Throughout this ordeal, the conduct has been consistently unprofessional. The tone of some of the text messages has been hostile and stressful. Conclusion Due to the property damage, the major project left unfinished, the contractor's lies regarding insurance coverage would cover damage if any, and the illegal operation resulting in a fine from Hapeville, I do not feel comfortable allowing this company back on our property for any reason. I strongly advise anyone considering Deuces Tree Service & Removal to look elsewhere. This company is unprofessional, dishonest, and fails to deliver on its contracted obligations when something goes wrong.

We recently had a large tree fall across and into our pool. We had a large event happening three days after the tree fell. Cathy came out immediately to give a quote which was more than competitive. She is so friendly and knowledgeable she knew right away why the tree had died and what we should watch for in the future. The team came out the next day and they are amazing to watch. They carefully took the tree down, hand carried out the trunk sections and branches and cleaned the area. When they were finished everything looked like before, minus the tree. I highly recommend Mytreemen because they are professional, very knowledgeable and fast but also because they're wonderful to deal with. Cumming, GA 30041

Zeta came through my neighborhood like a wrecking ball and took down 100+ year old oaks. Neighbors…read moreon either side of my house got their roofs cleaved and crews were buzzing around the clock. I heard horror stories of $16,000 removals and saw a swinging crane knock down my neighbor's chimney with a huge suspended log. My tree problem wasn't as big of a deal. I was lucky. That said, I called a few places and they either didn't want to be bothered by a 25 year old Leyland cypress over my sunroom, or wouldn't come out for a quote for a week, then said they'd schedule me for JANUARY (2 months later). I called Cathy in the afternoon and she booked Chris to give a quote in the morning. I hadn't had many quotes, but they were all above my comfort -- obviously there was plenty of work out there for months to come. Chris told me he could cut it safely and haul it for the lowest price. He also had a guy who would eliminate the stump and upturned roots for $100. But how long would I have to wait? "We can do it tomorrow afternoon between jobs." They brought a crew of 6 and saved my fence in the process (the tree was leaning over my fence, within two inches of the top). 4 of them hauled sections while two managed/climbed/cut. Chris came in to check and give instructions at the start and at the end of the project. He also reviewed the completion to make sure it was to my satisfaction. On the way out, at my prompting, he gave me some quotes on standing trees that I may want to take down in February when it's cheapest. Above and beyond: Since this was a neighbor's tree, Chris gave me good recommendations on what needed to happen with the remaining 15 Leylands that look at the end of their lifespan, crafted a letter for me to use as a template, and worked with me to make our 50/50 neighbor split easy. They kept in phone and text communication any time I had a question. He even wore a mask for our review without my request. Bonus: His stump grinder contact was reliable and reached out the next day without any prompting. Now it's like nothing happened! I hope to never have to call them again, but if I need some trees cut down, I'll call Cathy and Chris.

On the day of my appointment I met Milton and Raphael who promptly arrived at the time of my appointment. They made sure I understood the process as well (i.e, stump grinding and how it is handled by a third party who will come on a later date, how they planned on removing the trees, etc.) they're very easy to talk to and very knowledgeable! You can tell Milton has A LOT of experience and reliable references. The great part of Milton being so knowledgeable is the way he explained everything for me (who knows nothing about trees or tree service) he made it so easily for me to understand. On the day of removal they arrived promptly, Raphael knocked on my door to let me know they were going to begin the job. I HAVE NEVER WATCHED SUCH AN AMAZING PROCESS IN ALL MY YEARS OF LIVING. I allowed they to drop the trees on my yard for a faster process, and my goodness was it fast! They roped up the first tree, dropped it and while some of the crew was working on the fallen tree, the rest started roping the next tree. Both of my large trees were down faster than I anticipated. Clean up was beautiful, and thorough to me, they went above and beyond. For them, that's the service that every client should receive and deserves. The saying you get what you pay for rings true for A-Plus, and their name is the service they provide, A-Plus! Stump grinding was scheduled for two days later, and they did a great job as well.
