So we found what we wanted elsewhere and had to be ordered by Cascade Design Center. We provided Kristie Still exact pictures of the installed tile that was designed to be installed without seams yet it was nonetheless applied with wide grout seams completely distorting the end result we expected. We will have to remove the tile and start over! And never an apology regarding the result or any interest in correcting this enormous mistake. Had the tile been installed by a tile setter with an eye this never would have happened. He was more or less turned loose by Kristie without apparent direction. Beyond the separation of tile that was supposed to be confluent, the rest of tile was applied with inaccurate cuts, no bull nosing and in general a very sub par result. One excuse used by the installer was that some of the tile was broken so he did the best he could! It's our opinion that the Cascade Design center should stick to selling furniture and vacate any further sales of tile as that seems an afterthought in their business acumen. And Kristie should re evaluate her high opinion of herself. Consider Home Depot as an alternative as the result will be better and the customer service much better. And if you do choose Cascade Design Center avoid Kristie Still as your blood pressure will remain in a much more healthy range. Our $2M dollar home has track home tile work. (And we were buying during Covid when inventories were short again reducing our negotiating leverage.) Their delivery people, by the way, were awesome -- even helped move a piece or two of furniture I didn't buy from them, but I needed help moving.
