Leighton Elizabeth

This is a long review, so if you want the bottom line, here it is: Leighton is fun, low-key, kind…read moreand generous with her time, and very, very talented. She is organized and accessible, and she immediately put me at ease. Most importantly, her fees are reasonable and her work, in my opinion, contributed directly to the speedy and successful sale of our home. I recommend her without reservation. Here's the long version: We chose to professionally stage our home when we listed it for sale, and our realtor recommended Leighton. After looking at her website we arranged a complementary walk-through, and she made suggestions regarding which existing items in our home would work well for staging and which should be removed so the home could really be seen by prospective buyers. Our situation complicated her job since we planned to remain in the home while it was marketed. Nevertheless, she worked with us to keep the home functional and comfortable while also showing it off in the best possible light. In the midst of planning the scope of the project, Leighton communicates clearly, listens attentively, and puts everything in writing to avoid miscommunication. When we finished our preparations as agreed, she worked quickly to furnish and arrange our home as promised, adding lovely touches such as live plants and textured linens that brought a warm and inviting aesthetic to the entire home. Everything, from the artwork to the lamps, served a function in allowing our prospective buyers to experience our home in its best possible light. Pun intended!

After endless efforts to get a proper installation, which never happened , the drapes started sagging between pleats. They blamed me for the problem because I chose the fabric. They refused to fix it unless I continued to pay them for their time and extra workroom fees. The owner "fired" me and refused to work with me because I still owed them about $200, which I was hoping would motivate them to finish what they started. I'm out about $5000 with only these awful drapes in return.

Recently relocated from a storefront in the Ray's shopping center on Bend's westside, Complements…read moreHome Interiors now occupies a great space in the new and very interesting Century Center. (In what used to be the Brightwood Mill Building. Right next door to the new Backporch Coffee Roasters location.) We've only been in the new location to browse around a couple of times as we've been on a "hunt" for some accent furniture. But we've been customers of Complements in the past, when they were at the old location, to purchase fabrics for upholstery projects. Our experience was top notch - friendly and expert owner and staff, all interior design professionals, to help us make a good selection, fair prices and great follow up. In addition to an extensive library of fabric books and samples of all kinds, some of which seem unique to Complements in Bend, the staff can also assist you in ordering accent furniture and upholstered furniture from lines they carry. (In the latter, Norwalk as one example.) They also carry a small selection of accessory items and have full design center options, like tile and carpets, if you're looking for those items. The screeching slow down in home building in Bend has been tough on solid design businesses, like this one. The key to their survival is folks knowing about them to be able to seek them out when they have projects, whether large or small.. With that in mind, you'll find great resources, from products to design expertise, if you visit Complements.

He was easy to communicate with, thoughtful and thorough with all of the details of our flooring project. When it came to some challenging spots like our fireplace, Connor was able to custom fit the flooring to the unique pieces of rock that surround our fireplace. He ensured the highest quality of work throughout the project. We could not be happier with the work that Connor and his team did in our home and we highly recommend him to anyone looking to renovate or remodel their home. Connor helped us with framing, window installation, and siding--and everything was completed with excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail. What really stood out, though, was how collaborative and supportive he was throughout the process. As a first-time owner-builder managing my own project, I had a lot to learn, and Connor went out of his way to guide me through each phase. That kind of partnership is rare in the construction world. One of the biggest highlights was the shou sugi ban siding--a challenging and labor-intensive material to work with. Connor and his team nailed it. The result looks incredible and adds a unique, high-end touch to the exterior of our home. If you're looking for someone who is not only skilled but also communicative, reliable, and great to work with, I highly recommend Three Peaks Interiors
