After following video instructions and speaking with the manufacturer of the gateway, I was told I needed to contact the installer of the system (LASolar). LASolar's offices were closed Christmas Eve, so I wrote an email. I heard back the day after Christmas and after speaking with a customer service person, it was determined that a tech needed to come out. I feared the worst since it's the holiday season, but an appointment was made for Monday, December 30 and the technician calmly solved the problem. LASolar's customer service department is greatly improved from a few years ago. I was delighted by how responsive and communicative they were.

I had several other solar installers provide me with quotes and some of those were at least twice as much for a similar system. Some companies would not even give me a quote because they did not want to deal with Lodi Electric Utility. Once I contacted Valley Solar in January they responded immediately and I was up and running in March. The system has performed flawlessly producing power and I will break even in another 4 years. Valley Solar is very pro-active and has been out a couple of times to address issues with the system communication function. I did not request these visits, they just called and asked if they could come out and do some upgrades. Pretty impressive if you ask me. Would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them.
