They both clearly love what they do, and it shows in every interaction. When I started, my 6 month old puppy struggles with really bad separation anxiety, anything loud terrified him and made him try to bolt away. I was feeling overwhelmed and completely discouraged that I was doing anything right with him. During our training journey had its challenges, especially correcting my bad training behaviors I was taught along time ago that weren't working. Chloe and Emily were there to guide and support me every step of the way and gave me updated tools that actually work! The one-on-one sessions and private lessons each week were beyond anything I could have imaged, so supportive and willing to spend the extra time in areas most dogs would have blazed through things, Odin needed the extra support for him to become more confident. I know now every dog moves at their own pace and you need to be patient. My training journey isn't over with Odin and glad you guys are apart of mine and Odin's journey. Can't wait until I can eventually show off Odin once he becomes a service dog and let everyone know who helped me get there. Thank you from Odin and Me! See you all later! Rooted Dog Training exceeded our expectations.

Now that I have more time I wanted to finish Bella's training. I reached out to bark busters because Bella had a lot of anxiety and would have non stop barking issues. We have a new baby in the house so all the barking was no fun! I'm telling you, no joke after the first visit with our trainer Justine, I felt as if Bella was a whole new dog! She gives such great advice on how to properly train your dog without food incentives and shock collars! I was so amazed that I started telling a lot of my friends about it! I just finished my second session with Justine today and she was giving me tips and tricks on how to walk Bella without her pulling. By the end of the session I was walking Bella and Bella wasn't walking me! Justine truly cares for me and Bella and is very thoughtful on modifying things that help me the best! It's definitely worth the investment. I couldn't be any more happy and I would definitely recommend Bark Busters, especially with Justine, to everyone and anyone! Enjoy a picture of Bella after our training session today!

If you truly love your dog, then Bark Busters is the best thing you can do for them! We rescued an…read moreAmerican Pit Bull Terrier mix from our local animal shelter during Covid, and immediately fell in love with her. Since then, we have done our best to train her (even hired a dog training company) and while she's been amazing to us, there have been some incidents. We tried to correct her behavior but we had to go beyond just correcting a behavior, we had to know the why. We needed a dog behaviorist. Enter Bark Busters and Justine! From the very first phone conversation with Justine, she told us about a dog's personality (the who) vs. a dog's behavior (the why). Was our dog just naturally an aggressive dog or was our dog showing aggression due to past trauma. After the initial phone call then came the in person assessment in our home, Justine knew our dog's personality was sweet and loving to us; however, due to her being a rescue, her past experiences led to trauma that led to aggressive behaviors towards others in certain situations. Moreover, during that first assessment, she educated us things we had no idea about or thought about with dogs as pets plus what we need to be and do as owners. Justine was and is exactly what we were looking for in understanding our dog and from there building the right relationship with our dog that will keep her and others safe. The business model and curriculum that Bark Busters and Justine have put in place is one of a kind and works from day 1. We have always wanted what is best for our dog and to give her the best life possible, especially because she is a rescue and her breed. Bark Busters and Justine continues to give us the tools in place to build the confidence and trust we have as owners in our dog and our dog has in us as owners. We are forever grateful to Justine and will recommend her and Bark Busters to anyone!

Tony was a godsend, because before working with him Sunny was extremely reactive with me and any other living being he saw, lol. Tony taught me very simple and practical ways to essentially understand how dogs think and communicate. My relationship with Sunny has greatly improved and multiple people in my life have noticed that he is a completely different dog. It is night and day. He has a calm place in our home. He is no longer running upstairs or jumping on the couch without permission. He's no longer biting my ankles and going after my two cats. He's no longer reactive when he sees people and he has greatly approved his reactivity with dogs. I can now safely take him to a café and a dog park and trust him and myself. I genuinely feel like my relationship with Sunny and his relationship with me has taken a complete 180 turn for the positive. I am so happy to now get to enjoy my dog and explore our relationship.

I had never had a dog before and Tony honestly changed my whole mentality towards life and having a dog. I took his advice and learned to reassure myself and feel more confident so Enzo didn't feel reactive around me. It's been a few years of practice now, but Enzo walks off leash, and spends time with his friends and is overall more calm and confident with and without me. I'm very grateful and would recommend Tony to anyone looking for a trainer!

We started with them when our Belgian Malinois was 4 months old, we also decided to do the 3-week Board and Train program when Logan, our trainer, recommended it to us. I'm so thankful and truly appreciate Logan's patience, dedication, and willingness to work with both us and our dog. He has been an amazing trainer and has been there to guide us every step of the way. One thing about Logan is that he doesn't just train the dog, he teaches the owners how to properly communicate, build understanding, and explain how training will look when continuing at home. I can confidently say we've learned much as owners and we've seen such a positive difference in our dog, and we're so grateful we found Elevated Canine and Logan. Although there's been some instances in which we arrive a little late, Logan, with the positive spirit that he has, is always so understanding and welcoming. He never makes us down or shuns us- nothing but a great attitude and an eagerness to educate! You can genuinely feel the love and care Logan puts into his job and especially with our Darius. He's always willing to board Darius whenever we need it, especially on the days when I'm busy or working overtime at work, and that means so much to us. Knowing that Darius is somewhere he is loved, cared for, and in good hands gives us so much peace of mind. We're excited to continue working with them and if we could have the opportunity to meet thee great Oscar Mora, we'd want express our gratitude as well as mention how wonderfully he picked and taught his staff. He hired really good people who go above and beyond! May God continue to bless them and his whole foundation. Highly recommend Elevated Canine to anyone looking for someone who genuinely cares about the dogs and the people they work with!

I've got a105lb 11 month Rottweiler that I love to death, but he's a T Rex disguised as a dog. Hes super friendly, loves people, and wants to play with anyone/anything. Problem is he wants to do it his way, which cant happen because he scares the living shit out of people due to his size/breed. I realized how crappy of a job I've been doing "training" my boy within 2 minutes of being there. My boy was a bit startled from the methods used but quickly adapted. I got more done in 60 minutes at the class than I have his entire 11 months. Highly recommended. Toys and treats may work for some, not for others. My dog is clearly on the latter so this is what he needed. One last thing, sorry for the cones Tom...

I knew the repetitions would pay off for my reactive heeler eventually but never expected her to be able to know to sit in the pet store when she saw another dog. I fully anticipated her to lunge like she used to, and in that moment when she sat and looked at me instead of creating such a panic and making us leave, I knew this was the best investment I could've ever made for us. My dog is happy to do the work, satisfied and calmer at home and the real world examples of us being able to go out and do things now without her disrupting the entire experience and turning it into a scary one is so priceless. We keep going back because it's great exercise for both of us and the socialization with other controlled dogs is such a great thing for her. Cannot recommend Tom and Companions R Us enough!
