I especially hate when I go into a store that does carry plus sizes and they are in some dark corner of the store. When I walked in today, I didn't know what to expect but was met with enthusiastic staff who very much seemed like they wanted to help. I asked where the plus sizes were and was led to a smaller section towards the center of the store. While it wasn't quite as large as the rest of their stock, it had a decent selection. As I began holding some items, I was met with a staff member asking if she could start a fitting room for me. Every time I had at least two items in my arms, I had her or another staff member eagerly asking if they could place it in the room for me or if I needed help with any sizes. As I was in the fitting room I needed a few things in different sizes and Ryan was quick to help. She did not seem annoyed or rushed, but seemed actually happy to help. Unfortunately I only ended up purchasing one item, but when I was being rung up, another staff member, Donna asked me how I liked the plus size section and if i had any feedback. She explained that the brand put a lot of thought into developing a plus line and are continuously looking for feedback from plus size consumers. I discussed a few things with Donna and she made me feel super comfortable and wasn't weird or judge-y about my size, which is something I've run into at other retailers in the past. I was so impressed with their great customer service that I wanted to make sure to leave a review! One star is taken away because I wish the plus size selection was a bit larger.

I've worn Gap clothing since I was a kid and I've been visiting this Gap store in Atlantic Station…read moresince it opened with Atlantic Station in 2005. I visited this store several times in the mid to late 2000s, but I've rarely visited in the 2010s because I have all the clothes I need. However, I did find myself back here recently and the store was pretty much just as I remembered it. While the layout has changed over the years, the overall store design mostly remains the same. There haven't been any significant or major renovations. I like Gap jeans. They fit me well enough, the quality is good enough, they last a long time (many years), they're comfortable, and they're affordably priced. I'm a small guy and Gap carries men's jeans as small as a 28 waist and 28 length. However, most of the smaller (and bigger) sizes aren't carried in stores and must be ordered online. This is what I've had to do most of the time. I did find a particular pair of jeans in my size at the Gap store at Lenox Square years ago, but that was an anomaly. What I've normally ended up doing is ordering online, trying on at home, and returning what doesn't fit or what I don't like at this store in Atlantic Station (since I live in Atlantic Station, it's a very quick trip for me). The returns process has always been fast and easy. At regular price, most of my jeans have cost about $50-70 each, but I've almost always purchased during a special sales offer or promotion or used a coupon. In the end, my jeans have worked out to more like $40 apiece, with free shipping too. I like the different cuts the jeans come in. For example, standard, straight, and slim. They also come in a variety of colors, washes, and styles. Over the past decade, I've opted for the simple darker washes. The color does transfer so you have to wash the jeans a few times which is annoying. It's important to note that not all of the same colors are created equally. For example, I tried on two "indigo" colored jeans, but one pair was noticeably darker than the other. So in actuality, colors between pairs can vary even though the labels might say they're the same color. I've also purchased a belt or two from this store. Like their jeans, Gap's belts last a long time too. Most, if not all, of the employees I've encountered at this store have been nice and helpful. Park in the Atlantic Station parking deck on level P2. It's less trafficky on P2. You can directly access P2 from 16th Street. Parking is free for the first 2 hours.

I was in a bad mood (mostly because I was at Atlantic Station and because no one had what I was looking for), so I honestly wasn't expecting much from Gap - it was mostly just a last ditch effort. I ended up finding exactly what I was looking for for $13 - holy crap! I walked in and was immediately greeted by an employee who walked me over to a sale rack - and I actually found a pair of pants that fit!!! The staff was really nice, the clothes are great, and I was generally impressed. The only negative I could see (other than being in Atlantic Station) was that the store was pretty small.

It is bright, open, organized, clean and in great condition. Each area was clearly defined and easily to navigate to and from. They have casual sections, suit sections, business casual, shoes...and one of the largest clearance sections I have seen at a Brooks Brothers...and maybe even at a specialty clothing store. There was only one Associate in the store at the time and he was helping other customers with a custom order, so we did not interact with him. However, the service and conversation I witness was great and the customer on the receiving end seemed very happy. Prices were hit and miss. I found several things in the clearance section that I enjoyed and ended up getting, however the clearance shoes were still marked a tad high. Our main goal was a pair of slacks, and while they were priced well for the most part, they were short in stock of sizes needed. Overall, good trip to a solid Brooks Brothers location at the outlets!
