I always love Chicken Tikka Masala - I consider it the test of a good Indian restaurant. We got the Allo Gobi - a cauliflower and potato dish, as well as some of their lemon rice. I had never seen that before so we had to try it. We also had a Paneer dish with onions and peppers. Everything was fantastic! So fresh and flavorful, and absolutely packed with spiced! My partner said she thought it was the best we have ever had! We enjoyed everything, and the service was very friendly and personal. We spoke with someone who may have been the owner, who informed us that the food was from Punjab - far Northern India. We had a great meal, and felt like we made new friends as well. What separates Darbar's chutney from others is the flavor and the thickness (while other restaurants water their chutneys down). This is one example of the attention to details the makes this my go to for this cuisine. The folks working there are friendly and provide good customer service.
