Yeti has great food and great service, and the only thing holding it back from five stars is the price, which runs a little high. I've never had a bad curry here. The chicken and lamb dishes are all good, and my two favorites are the lamb korma and the chicken tikka masala. The naan is the real standout. It's giant, and I skip the rice and order two, sometimes plain and sometimes flavored, then use the pieces as an edible spoon for the curry. It's the best way to eat it. The staff were super friendly and nice, and it's a place I keep coming back to. read more

Pretty disappointing take out experience from Yeti with a few highlights. It was $116 for 3 people including chicken tikka masala (very tomato paste-y), a $33 lamb dish that included lamb pieces that were overcooked and veggies that were undercooked (my husband had to still fry it when we got home), aloo gobi that was very oily, 2 orders of samosas (generous portion but mostly potato) but they forgot to give us any sauce, one huge garlic naan (which had a little spice and wasn't cut up), a cup of mango lassi (was very tasty) and masala chai that was also very good. They gave us a very full cup of chai, which I'd normally be super happy about except that the top kept popping off so it spilled in the car. We had leftovers but will definitely try a different restaurant next time. read more

Very good service food was amazing, the restaurant was very clean the food came out sizzling hot love it. Price point ok

Very large space with tons o parking. Not much business. Good personal recommendations. Went in. Sparse! Loud ethnic music. Meh. Food comes.. salad --hard pass! Tandoori prawn for friend and kofta for me w naan and rice for me, no booze, just water. Absolutely fantastic flavors! Having been all over India 6 times for months for work, I have had spectacular experiences. So much so, I cook several of the dishes----except kofta! Way Too Hard!!! Both of us flipped over the combo (but the tandoori prawn was a bit too spicy) with rice and butter naan! I loved it, and I'll be back! read more

I visit Santa Rosa quite a bit and this is my go-to Indian restaurant. It is very authentic, Vindaloo is my favorite, I can get it nice and spicy, and fabulous naan. And saag, often the same, but these are tried-and-true (highly recommend). It is a great space for groups, so we often meet up with friends as a group of six or so, and I see some families too though we are all adults dining together. The owner is very friendly, and the service is excellent. I've also ordered to-go orders a number of times on my way to a friend's house, always very convenient, hot enough, and even the naan holds up well. Once I was there for a friend's party and they did a good job as far as I could tell, food was fabulous as always. read more

we ate there previously and ordered from the menu and the food was fine, but yesterday , after a walk in the area, we decided to go for the buffet. my personal preference with indian food is the buffets because you get many tastes and there is usually something new to try. seeing an empty buffet house at one pm on sunday should have been a warning, but we went in. only after getting a plate of food did friend S mention 'the food is cold'. we are a small 'eating club', and didn't want to be rude and stayed, and were disappointed. when the only praised foods are radishes and pickled food, that is very bad. SO MY SUGGESTION TO BUFFET ATTENDEES IS TOUCH THE PANS. IF THE PANS ARE COLD, ORDER FROM THE MENU OR LEAVE. read more

My daughter and I came here for lunch craving for Indian food. As we walked in, the place looks nice at first glance. As we were seated to our table, we noticed the table didn't look that clean and also the glasswares. it had spots on them and water was suspiciously bubbly. We ordered mango lassi, chicken, momo, lamb shank curry, garlic, naan bread, and basmati rice from the dinner menu when we came in for lunch. Then the first order came, which was the chicken Momo then took another 30 minutes for the other order to come, which was the lamb shank curry then took another 15 minutes for our bread to come then next the rice was last. We were unaware of their lunch special menu till the other customers that came in after us requested for it. You would think they would've just gave us the lunch menu as well since we came in during lunch. I guess the server wanted us to order from the pricier dinner menu instead. The service was really slow, especially it was only two customers that were there which included us, so four people total in the restaurant. When they gave our lamb shank curry, the rice and naan bread came 15 minutes after. We wanted to eat the lamb shank curry with the rice and bread, but since we had to wait the meat entree got cold. The food was bland. The mango lassi and unsweetened iced tea that we ordered (cos the water looked suspicious) both tasted weird. The only good part was just the garlic naan bread and the chicken momo. But I unfortunately would not come back here again. read more

I am Yeti's BIGGEST fan. I have been a frequent customer at Yeti's for the last 3 years of my life. This is my favorite restaurant. The chicken tikka masala is my favorite food. I've legit never liked anything more than Yeti's version of chicken tikka masala. Everything else is super delicious. I have been here easily over one hundred times. read more

I'm sorry to say they don't listen to the customer when we ask for very very mild. I could not eat it. I spoke with the Spanish speaking chef and he said the owner try's different spices every week. I do not want to be subject of an experiment when I go out for a good dinner. I have had one good meal and the last 4 times I couldn't eat it. I will not be going back. Bummer read more

amazing food, amazing service, clean environment 10/10 i go here all the time it's my favorite all around it always hits the spot! my go to order is of course the chicken tikka masala, honey butter naan, and a Thai iced tea i feel like a lot of the poor reviews are about the pricing all i have to say is you get what you pay for and if you cant afford to eat here then dont :) hope this helps read more

What an incredible dinner! The food was unforgettable, and the service felt like a warm hug. My mother and I were treated like queens--every detail was taken care of with care and kindness. Just enjoyed the lunch buffet with a friend, we enjoyed everything. Very friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere. Don't miss this buffet.

For the past 15 years, Chef Narayan Somname's cuisine has been dazzling my tastebuds. Yeti is in my top 5 favorite restaurants in Sonoma/Napa. The food is that delicious. And if you're on a tighter budget these days like me, one dinner can last me two days due to the generous portions. My favorite dishes: prawn masala, saag paneer, samosas, chicken sekuwa, momo's, lamb vindaloo, and garlic naan. My mouth is watering just writing this! Lastly, the service makes you feel like you're at home in Nepal! Thank you Chef! read more

Wow! We came for Valentine's Day and were lucky to get a reservation last minute. The interior is beautifully decorated, staff were amazing with recommendations and very attentive to our needs. The food stole the show! The naan is a must! And we went out of the ordinary by ordering okra, but it was incredible! Cooked and seasoned to perfection. When we are in town, Yeti is absolutely on our list to visit again. read more

I got a medium chicken tikka masala, and it was super spicy. My husband is Mexican and can usually handle spice, but even he was spiced out. I called the restaurant to see what we could do cause I already picked up the order and instead of trying to remake the order or refund me the food I can't even eat, they told me that I just couldn't handle spice and did nothing they could do about it. So I wasted my money time and still hungry because the food is so unable to be eaten. Don't go here unless you want to be disrespectful, and still hungry . Just admit to the mistake. Just rude. read more

Amazing service polite wait staff. The food has always been amazing. Try the lamb korma it's my go to.......

Place is rather nice inside, reasonable size menu. Service is fast, everyone there tries to be nice. Food is consistent. Minuses: Wine list is not up to par, very suboptimal choices. Cocktails are $12 but obviously they do not have a professional bartender. Those should be more like $6 for the quality they offer. Servers started cleaning the table while we were still eating. Another server filled up the water glass, spilled half on me and did not even blink. Buttomline: if you want fast and not bad indian food, do not mind a so-so service and do not have a Napa Valley wine expectations, this place is not a bad choice. read more

This location has been very inconsistent with their food and sometime it takes forever to serve us food. Had multiple bad experience dining here. The ambiance of the location is good but that is only what is good with that location. Food 3/5 stars. Service 2/5 stars. Ambiance 4/5 stars. read more

Delicious Indian food made fresh daily with authentic spices and rich flavor always!!

Great dining experience, especially for groups. I've been looking for a good Indian food place in Sonoma County, and I think I've found it! Tried a little bit of everything: Chicken Curry, Chicken Tikka Masala, Tandoori Shrimp, White rice, Kashmiri Pulao, and of course garlic naan. Also got to try out some apps like the chicken momos, samosas, and the chef salad! Everything was great, so no complaints there. The Mango lassi was also delicious as well - super creamy and more smoothie-like, but but overly sweet. The food portions looked a bit small when it first came out, but by the end we were all full and satisfied. Will definitely be coming back soon! read more

The service was slow and preoccupied with take out orders. The food was not good. I have tried several times to enjoy the food. The food is either over cooked and not edible or too salty or spicy. There was 3 tables with guests so it was not busy. There is no excuse for slow service when there are few customers. read more

Second time inside the restaurant after ordering many takeout times during covid. Everything was amazing! Happy hour drinks were yummy and great value. We ordered way too much food but it still turned out cheaper than our other nights out. Highly recommend the momos - they were little dumplings with lots of filling. The samosa was good too, but not quite as good imo. The nan break is huge! The rice is fluffy and perfect. Chicken tikka Marsala is insanely flavorful! I just wish my partner was okay with us getting it spicy. Sad that this place is so empty. It's decorated nicely and the staff is super sweet. I do wish it was a touch faster to order food, but this place offers great value and never disappointed with the food. read more

Simply delicious. I had to eat at both Yeti and its formidable competitor just 200 yards down the road (i.e., Cumin) before writing down this review. Yeti comes out on top in terms of taste, plating, and dining room ambience. I must admit that the waitstaff at the neighboring competitor were more attentive. Nevertheless, the outstanding quality of the garlic naan made Yeti stand out: this Indian staple here was both flavorful and crisp without being too dense, unlike store-bought varieties. The star of my dinner was the chicken biryani, which packed a spicy punch muted by the deletable accompanying yogurt. Dessert was just right: the coconut rice pudding capped the perfect Indian dinner in Santa Rosa. read more

Tried this place for dinner, it was my first time in, and I will definitely be going back! Based on the other reviews on Yelp, I expected kind of generic food, but this place definitely deserves 4.5 or above--it was a solid 5 stars for me. My partner got the chicken tandoori dish which came out sizzling with fresh veggies and a mountain of chicken. It had 2 bone-in thighs and 2 bone-in drumsticks for a total of 4 whole pieces of perfectly cooked chicken. Wasn't dry at all, and it was perfectly seasoned. We honestly could have split that dish with a side of rice and been perfectly full at the end. But I got my own entree, the lamb saag, and it was one of the best lamb dishes I've ever had. The spices in the sauce perfectly complimented the lamb's natural meaty flavor, and the meat was cooked just right - sooo tender. I also had a mango lassi which was delicious, and we split a garlic naan (also HUGE! Wow! Think twice as big as what you'd normally get, and so tasty). All the portions were bigger than I expected, and everything is priced fairly. We had leftovers to take home. We didn't get dessert because we were so full, but they had some yummy looking options. They also have a full bar! And regarding the restaurant, it was nice and clean, big wooden tables with fresh flowers on them all. Perfect for casual dining or a night out, birthday, family dinner or date. They can accommodate large or small groups and have a huge dining room. Parking was easy and available since they have their own parking lot. Oh and the service was great - they always made sure our water glasses were full, and everyone was very friendly. They did a great job with the menu, too, it has all the gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options marked for those with dietary needs. Highly recommend this place! read more

Ordered lunch to-go and will definitely be back to dine in - the inside of the restaurant was very nice and the host was so friendly when we came in to pickup. Our order was ready in just 20 minutes, and the food was absolutely delicious. Matar paneer and butter chicken were so good. Their mango lassi and Thai iced tea were also very good, although size was sort of small for the $6 price in our opinion. Highly recommend! read more
