Was taking advantage of an offer at Costco while in the area. Upon arrival we were told take out ONLY... this was not listed anywhere online. We ordered: 1. Chicken Tikka Masala-chef Special$16.99 2. Butter Chicken-Chefs Special$16.99 3. Saag Paneer-Chef Special x 2$33.98 4. Garlic Naan x 3$11.97 5. Lentil Soup$6.99 6. Plain Basmati Rice$2.99 7. Half-Chicken Tikka Kabab-(4pcs)$10.99 The portions were small for the price. We were left underwhelmed and would not return. Service was unwelcoming and we almost left.

Everything was pretty mid, not sure how it's this packed at 9pm. Wait for food was long and I've had better Nepalese food in the Bay. The chicken chow mein was bland. It felt like something I could easily make at home. Chili momo was super spicy and had my whole mouth tingling and burning. Titanic momo was overly salty, and the "Titanic sauce" was just the same chili momo sauce, slightly warmed up. Even the side sauce was the same... basically, all the sauces were recycled between dishes. Also, the steamed momo skin didn't compare to the delicate texture of Chinese xiao long baos. Overall, not impressed.

Had a cozy and flavorful experience at Everest Cuisine in Mountain View. If you're in the mood for comforting Nepali and Indian food that feels like a warm hug, this place is a must-visit. We tried their: * Momo - juicy, well-spiced, and served piping hot * Thukpa - a hearty noodle soup that hits just right * Paneer Tikka Masala - creamy, rich, and full of flavor * Garlic Naan - soft with the perfect crisp, great with the curries * Masala Chai - aromatic and soothing, a great way to end the meal The staff was kind and attentive, and the ambiance was relaxed -- perfect for a casual lunch or dinner. If you love bold spices, homestyle food, and warm hospitality, definitely check out Everest Cuisine. Located right in the heart of Mountain View -- absolutely worth the visit.

I came here last night with my friend and we loved EVERYTHING we got! My friend ordered for us but I like that they have pictures of the dishes for people like me who aren't as familiar with the cuisine. Everything was super fresh and flavorful. The staff members were super nice and the food came out very fast! It is a very casual restaurant and good for family dinners. I can't wait to go back!

This is definitely one of the top Momo restaurants in the Bay Area . I have also gone to the San Jose location and experienced the same amazing experience in taste and service . We ordered the jhol vegetarian Momo , veggie chow mein , gravy gobi Manchurian , and tandoori chicken kebab . The ambiance is informal and comfortable .

This is my favorite place to go as a Nepali!!! The servers are great. They also give papad if the waiting period is long. Their ambience is good. For those with dogs, they have outdoor seating. Their momo is top-tier. It's a MUST if you go there. Their titanic jhol momo lives upto its hype. If you want to try different types of momo, the platter is a great option. Their california spicy chowmein is really tasty. I would recommend that too. Chicken lollipop & chicken 65 are great as well. Their biryani wasn't good. Try to stick to Nepalese food when you order :)

Had a nice time here. Be ready to wait around 45 minutes if you want tandoori momos. We tried the Jhol chicken momos, tandoori chicken momos, mango lassi, and naan. Naan was mid, but momos were pretty tasty (coming from someone who doesn't usually like them). Tandoori flavoring was done very well and momos were also spicy which was a plus. Mango lassi was one of the worst I have had - tasted like the yogurt or milk was sour. Service is great, we did ask why our order was taking long and the server explained it takes a while in the tandoori oven. Everyone was very friendly and ambiance was nice too. Brightly lit place with decent amount of seating. Would definitely come back again.

Good food, great fast service, decent ambience! We ordered chicken chilli, veg fried rice, butter chicken and naan as well as mango lassi and while everything was delicious two things that stood out were butter chicken and the mango lassi. They tasted really fresh and just the right amount of spices and sugar :) My kids really enjoyed the naan and butter chicken combo! Solid place for getting good food for really good prices! I would come back for more :)

The onion kulcha and momo platter are both good. The jeers rice is fine. The cauliflower is just too bad and too weird

Our favorite place to go to for good Indian food! Service is great, food is fresh and very tasty. Shout to Bemont for taking care of us!

Came here last week and ordered for takeout. I had bought the 2x $50 gift cards for this place from Costco. When I came to pay for my food which was $110, they said they would only honor 1 of the gift cards and then they said this is a new policy that started last week. Nowhere in the entire store was it posted that only 1 gift card is allowed per 1 order. Next, the food was very mediocre. Butter chicken was a 3/5 until I found a hair in my gravy. Garlic naan was bland compared to others I've had. I will not be coming back to this place. Edit 06/24/2025: I'd like to reply to Prince, the owner of this establishment. My review was based on the fact that the food was not up to par, no signage was posted regarding this policy you speak of, and there was a thin, light-colored hair inside of my butter chicken. If you read my entire review you would have acknowledged this. Thank you.

Some if not the best indian/nepali food in the Bay area. Me and my friends try and eat here every week, the food is that good and genuinely authentic. The establishment ambiance is really cozy and the staff are very very friendly and polite, especially Bimal, and everyone there is just as kind. The environment and friendliness is much more than any other eatery I have been in. There is a huge variety of dishes. They open late as well and it comes convenient for late night dinners.

The flavors are AMAZING. Every single dish we ordered in these photos was delicious. I'll definitely have to come back to try the rest of the menu. Thank you so much for a great dining experience, friendly conversion, and incredible food. I love how causal and homey this restaurant feels. I enjoyed everything I tried :)

There was plenty of outdoor seating, and the service was speedy. You order on a kiosk, which makes for a streamlined ordering process. The food is always solid - I love all of their thali selections. This location was much more peaceful compared to the Palo Alto location. I stopped by on a Saturday evening, and there were only a couple tables that were occupied. I will say I feel like the portion sizes here are noticeably smaller than those at the Palo Alto location. This might be because all of the orders are packed to-go, so maybe there's less space for food? For instance, the thali from the Palo Alto location includes a side salad, which was not included in my order here. The other sides (pickled salad and daal lentil), along with the entree, were also significantly smaller here. The prices are the same, so I do think the Palo Alto dishes are more worth it.

Booked the table, showed up, and what followed was a full-on feast that I have zero regrets about. Varam is right on Broadway, on the block next to the courthouse, just before the closed off section of the road. Its in the middle of restaurant row, and you could almost walk past it if you were not looking. Interiors are nice and chic. I guess the place has been open for a year or so. Lets get down to the food First things first: the Appam. Someone had given us strict instructions to order it, and thank god we listened. The plain Appam comes with a little curry and a sweet coconut dip that is, I'm just going to say it, divine. Soft, lacy, perfectly made. I have been chasing good Appam in the Bay Area for some time, and looks like I have found my spot. Of course the excessive consumption of the Hayward 5000 beers set the mood nicely. Very nicely. The kind of nicely where the conversation gets louder and the food tastes even better. Apologies to the staff waiting on our table and every one else seated around us. The staff were genuinely great, especially considering we were basically the last table standing before they shut down for the evening. Not only did they not rush us out, even though I could well imagine them wanting to. Our server recommended the Andhra Goat Curry, which we promptly ordered along with the Khatti Daal. The goat was cooked exactly how it should be: tender, full of flavor, not aggressively spicy but with enough depth to know someone's grandmother's recipe was involved somewhere. Had it with roti and naan. Absolutely on point. Now. The Gongura Paneer Biryani. I will be honest, vegetable biryani feels philosophically wrong to me. Like a compromise nobody asked for. But this one genuinely exceeded expectations, and I say that with some reluctance because I don't want to make a habit of enjoying veg biryani. Let's call it a one-time exception that may happen again. Bonus: Varam is right across from Zareens and not far from Broadway Masala, which means Redwood City's Indian food scene has quietly become something serious. This place is going on the regular rotation. Next Time: Going for the dosas, the haleem, the real mutton biryani, some of the chaats and of course check out the deserts.
