I'm a big fan of acai and bowls of fruit goodness. I found out this place new, hot and trending. I had a custom bowl with acai, the topping was literally a sprinkle. I eat a lot of organic fruits and the bowl didn't have much flavor at all even with honey. The acai was not very good either. I had to give it a second chance and try a smoothie. I got a $8 vacation smoothie. It tasted nothing like it items in the menu. Very bland. So disappointed. But the place is trendy and cute, but it needs a lot of help in the ingredients department. I'm so sad to give this place a low review. When they first opened I went all the time, the fruit was fresh and so good and everything looked so clean. Now everything looks messy, The fruit looks like it's been sitting for days. I usually get berries and banana on top of my bowl but I only got banana because that's the only thing that was fresh. I went with a friend and they were out of 2 bowls we wanted to try. I got a small bowl, the girl filled it a little less then a 1/4 of the way and my friends was filled 1/2 way with the mix and I asked her why mine wasn't filled and she said that's all she could get out!! If Everbowl is one thing, it's unreliable. The bowls are good but you never know what's going to be in stock. Last week I stopped by this location and they were shut down for health violations, maybe because the week before when I stopped in here the store was so hot idk how they could have kept the fruit fresh. Over the last year I've walked out of Everbowl at least twice because once they were out of Acai, a second time they were out of granola. I don't know how this franchise is going to survive. Everbowl is the reason I now buy all the items I need and make my own bowls at home. Usually this place is my favorite for smoothie bowls but lately I have been a little disappointed. The lines are long and the waits are even longer, leaving me and my friends waiting for 30-45 minutes for our $8 smoothie bowls. The employees are nice but seemed a little irritated when confronted about this wait for the smoothie bowls. My teens wanted everbowl after school. I dropped them off and waited in the car. There was no line. I saw 3 parties come in between 5 and 10 minutes after them. I wait I wait I see 2 of the 3 groups come out with their bowls. Then the third. what is going on!! I go inside 32 minutes after ordering when there was no line and they say they are up next. No apology, except from the employee who said she just got there. Did they move the order because the kids were teens with no adult? Don't come here!! Let me start by saying that it's not the employees fault. But don't the owners clearly don't care about their business! This is the third time that this has occurred where I order ahead of time via the grub hub app they themselves advertise. It's a Sunday it's noon I ordered 20 minutes ahead of time I arrive the employee attempts to have me two bowls I do not want to touch them as of course corona issues so I explained how I only have one bowl. I do see that one of the bowls is double ordered. But I wanted her to doublecheck she goes back to her app and asked me if my name is Warren I say no it's not and she asked me my name? The entire time that I was there waiting about 3 to 5 minutes the phone was ringing off the hook and a little voice was coming up over a speaker saying new GrubHub order new grandpa order it did that probably 8 to 10 times in the time that I was there. She goes down the list of names for the pools none of them are my name. She finally finds me and states that it's going to be about 20 minutes before her she's able to makeMy ball. I explained that I don't wanna wait as there was already a line behind me at three people and we're in the sun mind you. It's also during peak hours and yes she's the only one there she's maybe 18 years old if that she's a sweetheart but she was clearly not able to handle the rush hour of people ordering on a Sunday afternoon. She attempted to call the manager, asked me to call in and get a refund myself. The lady ended up giving me the bowl that was sitting there and kept the other boat I've left very flustered as it's like 100 degrees they have no canopy or anything for us while we wait in the hot ass sun. SO UNACCEPTABLE especially when we know small business need us. Staff accordingly. Make some effort to keep us out of sun if we have to wait especially after ordering ahead of time. So I go to everbowl a lot in the Escondido/San Marcos area and I brag about how good they are and their customer service, so when I went to visit my friend to try the Temecula place I was expecting the same happy feeling that I get. What I got was a rude worker who had an attitude. She interrupted me and made me feel like I had to go faster. She then continued to make me feel more uncomfortable while she gave me judgmental stares while talking with other workers. There seems to be no professionalism here as I try to enjoy eating and see workers gossiping and sitting on counters where they serve food. I really don't plan on coming back to this place. And for all the people who have been to a different location and wanna try this one beware of a rude worker with an attitude problem and make sure you see if they wash their hands because they sit on counters. read more
