Cute little coffee shop we stopped at they were about 10 of us and we tried to go to the overpriced restaurant next-door, but it didn't have a good vibe so we decided to come over here. I got a Panini with him and pesto and I ate it well looking out at the lake. What a beautiful view great vibe. They were super friendly and the service was quick And the food tasted wonderful. I highly recommend this place! And there's plenty of parking.

My favorite coffee shop, but as of late someone needs to ease up on the cleaning chemicals. It's so strong you can smell it from outside. And sitting inside is difficult for someone like myself with respiratory issues. I'm so thankful it's so clean, but I hope they find a more natural solution to use.

It's a cute little coffee shop near the small town lake, so the view is good. Service was very friendly as well. You could tell this was a local favorite for coffee. They allow dogs on the patio and have water bowl which is great for dog people! Since we stopped in for lunch, but I didn't have the coffee and maybe that's what keeps bringing people back. As far as the food goes - I had the Reuben and it was mediocre at best. There might have been two slices of meat, but it was mostly bread and super thin bread at that. I wouldn't get it again.

They are consistently great, which is why you'll almost always find the place buzzing with energy. The location is fantastic--it's situated right next to Bear Creek, providing a cool, relaxing atmosphere that really captures the mountain vibe. As for the food, it's excellent across the board. The breakfast scrambles are a highlight, topped with fresh sauces and served with perfectly crispy hash brown medallions. Their smothered burritos are another must-try, loaded with melted cheese and served with fresh sides. Beyond the plate, the staff is always wonderful, making you feel welcome even when they are slammed. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this is a staple for a reason. Rating:

Blackbird is cutesy and inviting with brightly painted exterior (featuring butterflies and sunflowers), cozy and wooded interior, with one hell of a Creekside view. The layout inside is a little awkward - and entrance is right near the kitchen. However, we maneuvered to a table in the corner near the window - with a nice, sunny view and was greeted by a friendly face who gave us a rundown of the specials and allowed us ample time to peruse the menu. We decided to sip on Arnold palmers and split The Rachel - essentially a Turkey Ruben with a side of fries and sweet potato fries - because two types of fries is always the right choice! Within about 10 minutes, our food arrived, which was just what the doctor ordered. Splitting the meal was perfect, as the sandwich was huge. Mom's fries were delicious while my sweet potato fries were a little burnt, but still yummy. Service was friendly, welcoming and accommodating to our lunch date. Pricing is on point and reasonable for a cute mountain town. I'd easily return!

The Secret's Out: Why Evergreen Bread & Cocktail Lounge is Our Forever Favorite…read moreFor a few years now, my wife and I have considered this place our little "under-the-radar" sanctuary. But let's be honest--when a spot is this good, a secret stays a secret for about as long as a fresh loaf of their bread lasts on a table. (Which is to say: not long at all.) Here is why Evergreen Bread & Cocktail Lounge remains our absolute go-to: * The Vibe: The atmosphere strikes that perfect, rare balance between sophisticated and soulful. Whether you're there for a quiet morning reflective coffee or a lively evening drink, the ambiance just works. * The Bread (Oh, The Bread!): It's the undisputed star of the show. It's consistent, artisanal, and frankly, addictive. If you haven't tried it yet, consider this your formal intervention. * More Than Just a Bakery: They consistently turn out dishes that are as thoughtful as they are delicious. From the first bite to the last sip of coffee, you can tell the kitchen actually cares. * The People: A restaurant can have great decor, but it's the staff that gives it a heart. The team here couldn't be warmer or more attentive; they make you feel like a regular from the moment you walk in. The Verdict? If you're looking for a spot that nails the transition from "morning bakery bliss" to "evening lounge elegance," this is it. We're already counting down the days until our next visit. Highly recommended--just don't be surprised if you have to fight us for a seat!

Anyways this place is totally worth the stop in a fast casual concept. We also got a pumpkin chip cookie that was good too. It's a nice interior and friendly service. Loved this place.

The location is pretty, but the noise level was crazy loud. There was a particularly noisy table with guys shouting and the rest of the restaurant had to yell to be heard. We had to shout our order to the staff just to be heard. The tables are wobbly--noticed several with plastic shims to help balance, and no, they don't take care of it before you sit down. We asked and the guy nearly tipped over our drinks on us. Started with our drinks. Ordered some specialty drinks and they left the Sprite out of what we ordered. They brought a carafe of Sprite and they had run out of syrup so it was club soda. They remade the drinks and all was well. Burrata appetizer was trying too hard. Too much going on with flavors. It was just okay. Lamb ragu was cooked well, but lacked flavor. Mussels, hopefully, won't get me sick. I had a bad batch and one mussel that was so bad that I had to spit it out and it soured my appetite so much so that I didn't order anything as a replacement. Paella special was over cooked. And the pasta primavera tasted like a curry. The best item of the night was the beet salad. When we got our check, it was crazy expensive for four people. $250! And that was with only one alcoholic drink! They also didn't take my mussels off the tab, which we had to point out and they corrected right away. Also didn't help that we could visually see our server complaining to the other servers about us. We were absolutely polite and kind to everyone helping and still left a nice tip because we've both worked in restaurants. It's a pretty location with overpriced food that isn't that tasty and a server who doesn't understand that when things get messed up, it's the restaurants job to remedy it--especially for the price that customers have to pay! Ridiculous.

I was craving a homey coffee shop moment, something cabin-esque where you can relax without feeling rushed. Muddy Buck delivered. Comfy couches, warm wood vibes, and the kind of atmosphere that immediately makes you feel welcome. I did forget the book I meant to read, but that worked out because I ended up having a really lovely morning playing games with a friend instead. The coffee was solid, and the pastries were warm, soft, and pillowy. But the sleeper hit here is the Muddy Buck chocolate chip walnut cookie. Gooey, perfectly baked, and genuinely memorable. One of those cookies you keep thinking about later. If you're in Evergreen and want a cozy, relaxed coffee shop where you can actually sit and enjoy your time, this is the spot.

The seating is a fun mix of tables and comfy couches, plus outside patio seating. There is a selection of board and card games available, and a slightly tucked away book for those who want some privacy (as I did on my morning visit, to take a work call). 2) The chocolate chip walnut cookies are SO good! Definitely get it warmed up. 3) Free wifi. The less good: 1) Given they roast their own coffee I had high expectations on the taste of my latte but it was just okay, nothing standout. 2) The cinnamon rolls are another thing the Muddy Buck is known for and maybe I just got one from a day-old / less fresh batch but it wasn't that great. The edges were crispy - not sure if that's intentional - I prefer my cinnamon rolls soft & pillowy. 3) The service is hit-or-miss and their overall workflow needs some adjusting. After most orders the cashier would walk away and tell the next person in line they'll be with them in just a few minutes, even if it wasn't that busy. When I got my Italian soda, I didn't get my cookie - I was told they were still working on it (it was in the display case) - yet my friend who ordered after me got her soda and cookie at the same time. I had to go up again to ask for it. 4) They're inconsistent with their use of disposable vs reusable packaging. My latte was in a to-go cup despite dining in and plenty of reusable mugs hanging there. Cinnamon roll came on a plate. Italian soda was a to-go cup. Cookie was in a to-go bag. They have both reusable and disposable silverware. Some adjustments are needed IMO.
