The instructors are fun, friendly, supportive, and talented. You can see everything from the outside, and I'll be honest, I felt a little awkward knowing people could watch us. Once inside, I noticed several couples dancing with different instructors and had a moment of nervousness, wondering if there would be enough space for us. Then we met our instructor, Johnny, and all of that disappeared. He is an absolute delight. From the start, he made us feel comfortable, relaxed, and completely at ease. I quickly forgot about the windows and the other dancers. We had plenty of room, and that's entirely thanks to how Johnny guided the lesson. Even though we were doing a shorter intro session, he managed to teach us all the basics to the song we chose. Somehow, it felt incredibly intimate and personal, even in such a large, open space. We had so much fun that we've decided to continue our lessons. Highly recommend, especially if you're looking for an inclusive, welcoming place with truly wonderful instructors.

Over the course of my journey here, I've not only learned how to dance with more skill and grace, but I've also found a community filled with joy, encouragement, and laughter. Veronica ended up being one of the best pole instructors I've ever experienced. She was so fast to connect to me and my goals and understood instantly my ability and previous experience on the pole and in dance. She then was able to teach the techniques she laid out for me in a way she knew I needed to learn them, and installed the exact concepts and methods she knew I needed for were I wanted to go. Unlike many other experiences with classes and studios, this experience left me feeling like I just walked out with a super charged download of pole skills versus the usual feeling of wasted time and little progress I've felt with other trainings. The studio itself is set up so perfectly too. The whole design and layout of the dance room is really interesting bc it's so warm inviting and elegant yet intimate and professional at the same time. Every little detail of the whole studio is done to perfection. It's hard to say something new about a studio that literally has so many five star reviews to its name, but honestly I would just say that for anyone who wants the hands down best pole dance training of their life needs to set this studio and the incredible Veronica as a priority number one to come and experience for yourself.

As a naturally reserved and serious individual, ASCB has profoundly shaped her, building her confidence, poise, and integrity. Ms. Jennifer, the studio's exceptionally knowledgeable director and teacher, has been a constant guide, witnessing and fostering my daughter's growth every step of the way. From a mother's perspective, I cannot overstate the immense impact that both the studio and Ms. Jennifer have had in shaping not only her dance technique but also her character. ASCB maintains a high standard of technique, which Ms. Jennifer skillfully balances with patience and kindness. And to anyone wondering whether this is the studio for your dancer... I can't emphasize enough that your dancer will find a home here where they will be both challenged and nurtured...where they will grow! Here's a quick list for "WHY ASCB?"... * This is a serious ballet studio. Classical technique is taught with a high standard and with care and kindness. * The classical ballet technique taught at ASCB fosters a strong, flexible, and coordinated body and nurtures discipline, focus, and expressive movement. * Ms. Jennifer is highly knowledgeable and effective. * It's a smaller studio which means more individualized attention, increased guidance, and stronger teacher-student relationship. * Once dancers hit a certain level, the dancers are invited to attend the studio's summer intensive w/guest teachers. * The schedule works nicely around school schedules. * I absolutely love seeing all the dancers perform at the studio's recitals. The work put into them by Ms. Jennifer and the dancers is incredible! * OH! Aaaaand the studio is right by Movin' Easy! Did your dancer forget their tights? We recently started at Dance Discovery with high hopes, but unfortunately, our experience so far…read morehas been quite disappointing. My daughter (age 3) has attended four different classes with different instructors as we tried to find the right fit for her. As a shy new student, I expected at least a minimal effort from the teachers to help her feel welcomed and included--but that has largely been missing. In most of the classes, there was little to no effort to engage her, encourage her participation, or help her feel part of the group. Even in the few classes that had student assistants present, they did not step in to support her or offer any guidance. In one instance, my daughter needed tap shoes (which are available in a shared bin for those without), and rather than assisting us, the student assistant pointed me toward the bin to figure it out myself--something that could have easily been handled more supportively, especially for a brand-new child. Another serious concern is bathroom access. My daughter is still potty training, and after a 45-minute drive to get to class, we often urgently need to use the restroom upon arrival. To access the bathrooms, however, you must walk through two active classrooms, which feels disruptive and uncomfortable. On one occasion, it took us over 10 minutes just to get into a stall, which meant missing a significant portion of class while awkwardly waiting in a hallway right next to an ongoing session. Overall, I'm very surprised by the lack of accommodations or support for young children and new families. It's disappointing because I had high hopes for this studio, but at this point, I'm not confident that it's the right environment for us and we have already put in our 30 days.

Alcohol & towels are provided to you for sanitizing your poles or to make the sweat go away. Our instructor was by the stage name Zifatigg Bonbon. She was funny, professional, and very sweet! She encouraged us to go at our own place, would re-review any moves if we didn't understand it, and taught us how to move our gluteus Maximus muscles - which blew my mind by the way!! We also had the chance to perform for each other with Zifatigg guiding the way and throw some dolla billz ;) I came out bruised and sore all over, but it was definitely fun that it has me considering taking classes back home!
