So my roleplay group rented this space last night for 8-10pm so we could do a fun class + demo, and it was phenomenal! I was really impressed by the facilities and layout of the place-- much larger on the inside than it looked on the outside. There was the large dance area with mirrored wall, plenty of folding chairs we could use, a large lobby with places to sit and wait for the previous class to finish up, even a quiet booth on the far side, and a little nook with a fridge and microwave. The fun-colored neon lighting was a nice visual touch, coupled with the ability to play music on the sound system really set the mood! The owner was very helpful about making us feel welcome, getting us set up, and letting us know where everything was and how to use the facilities. The only two things that could have been better were the cramped parking lot with limited spaces, and the single occupant bathroom. It was a really nice bathroom, but there was only the one so it caused a wait to use it. Would definitely rent this space again!! read more

The website is awful. You sign up, it takes your payment information and has warnings about no-show policies. I show up to my first class. No record of my registration for the class. I'm not offered to take the class. The girl at the desk says check your email. I check my email, and it says you have to link your account. So why does the website have you select a class, lead you to believe you're paying for it, and show you enrolled? Maddening. I was always so interested in taking a class but always thought the website was absurd. I now have to make sure money isn't taken out of my account, and I don't show as a no- show for a class I wasn't welcomed to join. I was so looking forward to a great dance experience. So fun!! Been a dancer my whole life and as an adult it's hard to find dance classes to do. They really make you feel welcome and the dance is not too hard but still good if you've danced before. I saw a bad review about filming videos and posting to private group - BTW they tell you before hand and dancing in them is optional... and it is private (they don't accept you unless your part of diva dance) Anyways would recommend! read more

I went to DivaDance one time and was immediately turned off by how they must record and share each session online. They gave zero notice ahead of time that they are filming to share on the internet. Sure, the FB page is "private" but anyone can request to join. So if you're a first timer and not willing to share your dance skills (or lack of) with the internet I would just skip this one. I wasn't planning to leave a review... but now, ~5 years after never going back, I am getting spam text messages to do a free trial. I get enough spam these days. read more

Divadance is everything I needed in my life after going through a Domestic Violence relationship. After that happened I had shut down mentally and physically and pushed everyone away. After months of agony I decided to get back into dance, something I had done as a child and in high school. I was SO nervous at first but I was immediately welcomed with open arms. I never feel judged or out of place. Divadance IS the most inclusive dance, gym, squad, business EVER!! I always get a great workout and I can honestly say I've made some real friends! They also offer fun recitals you can be a part of, video shoots, lockins (when there wasnt a pandemic) and alot of other opportunities to grow in damce and your connections with the guys and girls. So my friend posted an Instagram with her DivaDance crew and I was curious so I signed up through Groupon. And it was love from FIRST CLASS. The instructors are amazing and super helpful for even bad dancers like myself. Totally judgement free FUN dance class that anyone can do. Without even trying I've lost weight () going 2-3 times a week and it's way more exciting than the gym. Please give it a try - you won't be disappointed! You'll probably be surprised at how good of a dancer you are! Slay girl slay! You can't go wrong with any of the instructors but I've been to Trey, Jessica, Kasey and Natalie's classes. Went for the Beyoncé choreography and found one of the best, most fun workouts in Austin! I went into the class at the Domain location and was blown away by how high quality the preparedness of the instructor was, how challenging and fast-paced the moves and choreography were (in a good way!), and how the hour FLEW by! There were men and women in the class (~15-20 total) across all ages and skill levels. I, myself, entered the class around a 0 skill level, whereas my sister has been dancing for years and we both found it valuable and fun. I like how engaging the instructor is the whole time, repeating moves and asking where we need help directly. I usually like SoulCycle / YoStrong by Wanderlust for a strong workout and didn't expect to sweat in this dance class, but I definitely fulfilled my workout quota for the day there. It's easy to say a Beyoncé, Spice Girls, Rihanna, etc.-themed choreography dance class would be fun (and it is), but Diva Dance has actually put it into action! We had so much fun dancing to Lady Marmalade with Sam for a bachelorette party! She perfectly fit photo time, choreo learning time, champagne toasts, and final performances into an hour! It was amazing! The studio was clean and air conditioned so we all kept cool on a hot day! Natalia helped out with all of the booking and logistics beforehand. She was extremely helpful answering questions! DivaDance is a must for any bachelorette party, girls weekend, or birthday party! It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip! read more

Diva Dance is AMAZING! We booked for a premium dance party for our group of 10 girls for a birthday trip out to Austin. Half the girls wanted to take a pole dancing class but this wasn't the cup of tea for the other half - so we were able to please everyone by finding Diva Dance! The instructor was amazing in her choreography - worked great with the different dance skill levels of all the girls! All the staff were incredibly responsive with helping us book our party. They were very accommodating to helping us find a time that worked during our short stay and in btw all our other activities. The entire group LOVED having fun, feeling sexy, getting a workout in! So, I took a month long dance class to learn choreography to Beyonce's - Formation. I loved it! I can be a bit lazy and hate working out, this tricked my brain into actually getting my body moving. Lots of movement, sweat, and dancers of different skill levels. I plan on registering for more classes here and there and WILL convince my friends to go. :) read more

We booked a private class for 9 girls for a bachelorette party. The coordinator was very responsive via text/phone so planning it was very easy. They were so nice (even though I asked so many questions)! We were not expecting to learn steps so fast and some girls were regretting the idea of "working out" after brunch. But when we got there, it was like a fun, energetic party!! Sam, our instructor was so fun filled and energetic- she made the experience amazing. At the end, she even took videos, pictures and boomerangs for us! There was enough studio space even if we had more people in our party. They had the fans on as well so we don't get too hot during the class. It was a great experience and I would definitely recommend it. read more

I've taken a couple of dance classes here and they are so much fun! I'm terrible at dancing and have trouble with following choreography, but they make it a lot of fun with different themes and ways to teach dance. Their locations are super spread out around Austin, so I can't wait until they add a more Central/East Austin location. read more

I was so sad I could not attend my best friend's bachelorette party in Austin and I wanted to surprise her with a special experience during her weekend.
