Someone who ignores the crying until my momma has to ask them to "please stop" and then a few seconds later, "stop" again. They do not have ultrasound guided IV insertion support, which is greatly needed. Do not take your loved ones to this location. If you have to go to this location, I highly recommend bringing an advocate with you into the room to make sure you successfully get an IV or are paid attention to when they repeatedly fail (they tried twice). The Embry testing center here was pretty straightforward in terms of booking, getting to the site, and receiving results. Spots were rapidly getting filled while I was browsing at times so I booked the earliest time for the day I wanted, only to find out that they accept non-appointment arrivals too! Despite this, the wait wasn't too long past my scheduled time, around 30 minutes. The line was steady and moved at a decent pace and there were 2 areas set up for testing when you got to the front of the line. The actual testing was simple, quick and painless. The person performing the test was thorough and professional. I anticipated a 2-3 day wait for results but was pleasantly surprised to get a message less than 24 hours later with full details after 48 hours. If needed or wanted, I would get testing done at Embry again. She was friendly, articulate and took all the time needed to explain her assessment of the injury to my thumb. We settled on PT and I'm doing that currently in hopes the pain and strength in my thumb will improve. I'm hopeful.
