I absolutely love this nail salon. I'm 34 years old now and I've been coming here since I was 14. That alone says a lot. The pedicure ladies are AMAZING and truly the MVPs -- they always do such a wonderful job and make me feel cared for and relaxed. I do have a few small suggestions only because I love this place so much and want the experience to feel even more peaceful and spa-like. I would personally love more relaxing music instead of hip hop or upbeat dancing music during pedicures. I come here to unwind and fully relax. I also remember the lighting used to feel a little softer and dimmer, which made the atmosphere more calming. The individual pedicure chairs already have bright lights, so the overhead lighting can sometimes feel a bit too intense. And this is no one's fault of course, but I wish some customers would be a little more mindful of volume. Some of us come here for peace, quiet, and relaxation. This nail salon is conveniently located in a shopping plaza. I needed my nails done for a wedding. I requested a mani & pedi. They started me off with a pedicure. The nail technician was gentle and did a great job on my ugly feet lol. Everything was going well until customers started trickling in. I can tell that this was not the norm for them on a weekday. The staff started rushing. While still working on my pedicure, the owner approached my nail tech and asked her to hurry and fix another customer's nails because she knows how to do powder nails. They spoke in Vietnamese (and I understood everything being said...) Then I was pawned off to another nail tech to do my manicure. I did not like that. I asked for round/oval nails and got square shaped nails. She also filed them way too short. The gel polish was thick and clumpy. She rushed on my nails and didn't even do a cleanup around the edges. I was told my nails are done and when I got to the car, the polish started smudging! I can tell it was going to bother me, so I went back inside for a fix. It was a 3rd nail tech I got now. She was sort of rude and filed down the smudged area to apply another clumpy layer on top. All in all, I was very dissatisfied with the service and how my nails came out. Walked in for pedicure and basic manicure. Contrary to what I have experienced in other salons, the tools used were just plucked out of a jar and obviously could not be sterile. Most good salons start off with a tools individually packaged. The manicure did not include any soaking of the fingernails or cuticle treatment. The filing of the nails left ragged edges. Obviously, I will not return and let this be a warning to anyone considering service here. I guess the women who were getting service and appeared to be regulars don't care about cleanliness, but I was appalled. read more

Everyone is very nice at this location. Prices are fair. I would recommend you not get a manicure while getting the pedicure because you don't get the same attention on your manicure when you do this. Terrible and unsanitary. The place was dirty and dusty. I went in for a manicure on natural nails and the nail tech cut my cuticles until they bled. She left rough edges on my tips, roughed up the top of my nails for no reason and slapped polish on top. On some fingers she painted over my skin. The polish was so sloppy in places that I removed it after I left. Now I am waiting for my cuticles to heal, hoping I don't get an infection. read more

This nail shop is 30 minutes from my apartment but I am willing to make the drive. I've been coming to Evan nails for about 3-4 years. I don't get my nails done that often but this is my go-to place. I always ask for CAROLINE. She is so sweet and talented in her work. She is meticulous that everything has to look clean and precise. She is so easy to talk to. I've gotta SHELLAC, ACRYLIC, and with this last visit, I tried DIP POWDER for the first time. They have so many services and a huge variety of color you can choose from. Their shop is always so clean and their wall is stunning. Those red paper flowers were handmade! That attention to detail is an indicator of how dedicated and talented their employees are. They probably have 25ish workers. There are some that have a more advanced skill set than others but overall they are consistent. Find a person you like and stick with them. Also if there is something that you are not satisfied with and want to be fixed, Speak up! Make it known. Everyone is critical in their own way and want things done a certain way. My second time going to this establishment after my pedicure was done well the first time. This time my experience was different. I asked for Nancy to do my acrylic nails based upon recommendations. I called hours ahead for an appointment. When I arrived much to my surprise she was very rude upon greeting. She is a much older lady who moves at turtle speed doing my nails. As I ask for a better "stiletto" shape she tells me it will be an extra $5. Then it's an extra $10 for these crystal stones that weren't sized properly to fit my tiny hands. By this time I'm quoted $75 for a basic French ombré short acrylic nail set. I have gotten my nails done better at the same price for long nails. Thereafter I ask for a pedicure because I don't know any other place to go. Tracy comes over and starts cackling something to Nancy very loud making me feel a certain way. I ask if everything is ok and they just act as if I wasn't speaking. How rude! Tracy begins my pedicure but was loud talking me the whole time with an attitude as if I had done something. Covid champs!! I'm so happy with Evan Nails and their response to covid. All of their staff wear masks, shields and protective jacket/shirts. Customers are of course required to wear masks. The chairs and stations are spread a safe distance and sanitized before each customer. Each pedicure chair is surrounded by discrete but effective plastic. And acrylic shields separate manicure technicians from customers. Clearly they care for their people and their customers. First time I went to Evans Nails I had an amazing experience. The second time ANN did my nails and the experience was awful. I got a manicure with shellac! I have 3rd degree burns on my hands so I'm aware my hands look different. She turned my hands over to look at my burns and didn't say anything. Just looked in disgust! She looked at my hands as if I had a disease. She didn't massage or put lotion on my hands after she was done I asked for lotion she basically slammed it on the desk and walked off. After she was done she stood up and walked off and waited for me to follow so I could pay. She also left cuticles sticking up and they are snagging on everything. I've tried other salons and I always come back to this one , I'm never disappointed. I've had my nails done by Nancy, Hannah and Vince! They are all great but Vince is a perfectionist! Even tho he only did a refill he fixed my nails,- from a previous nail place he made them amazing , hung my purse , brought me a hot towels , I was there 2 minutes early for our appointment and he was already waiting for me. He is a great conversationalist and loves what he does. My nails look amazing , I've heard he is one of the best in designs I have yet to try that. I had a nail appointment with a friend. We were seated immediately but separately. The nail service was rough but Tracie moved quickly. I could tell she was rushing but I didn't mind because I appreciate quick service. However, there was a time she rushed and grinded my finger with the grinder. She apologized so it wasn't a big deal. I think if she slowed down and were more observant, she would be able to be more gentle and be able to tell the dip powder wasn't even. She barely did any shaping so the result was misshapen and lumpy nails. Just as an fyi, to remove acrylic, they soak your hands in acetone instead of acetone cotton and finger wrap. One of my nails chipped in 1 day and broke on the third day. A second one chipped in 3 days. Even after all of that being said, it was the actual rudeness that prompted me to leave a review. One of the techs assumed I didn't speak Vietnamese and said some things about us that did not sit well with me. Out of courtesy, I held my tongue. Just some advice, Don't insult your customer and talk about them negatively while they are there. It is common courtesy. read more

I go to Jade (@jadedangbeauty) and she's amazing with nail art and microblading! For Jade, you must book and appt in advance and make a deposit and her price is pretty steep. Quality over quantity. They rest of the staff there does a great job too. If your looking for designs VINCE, does a great job as well. Hannah, caroline, Tina, jenny, Nancy and Lisa can do great nails as well. Another thing I love about this place is the pedicure selections! I'm in love with the new morrocan clay $50 pedicure! It smells amazing and leaves my feet silky soft. Their regular pedicure starts at $25. I think it's a steal as they dispose there tools and uses liners for sanitation. They've recently increased price at the salon but I feel like you get what you pay for. If you want a certain tech I would suggest booking in advance. Everyone has different skill level. They have about 25-30 people working here so it can be overwhelming if you don't know the right person to go too! They have TONS of Shellac colors, dip colors and acrylic powders! Tried this place again, after three years and it's still trash. They did my nails on Friday, and they were completely thick and lumpy. I was asked to come back Monday to have them redone and their top coat is all lumpy. Danny told me that they'll have to call the manufacturer because they're all messed up (he even opened a brand new one). He applied and reapplied and reapplied the top coat over and over and over for what felt like forever. After TWO HOURS (I'm not even kidding.. 12:50-2:50), I left with a set of nails I'm not happy with.. again. Some female employee who wasn't even a part of the conversation came over and told me they can take the polish off and I can leave without a refund if I would like. Why would anyone do that? In all honesty though, my husband is right - time is money and they wasted a whole bunch of mine. For the last time. This was my 3rd time here - I keep trying it because it's so close to my home, but never again will I be tempted to step foot in this place. I haven't been a customer at Evan Nails for about a few months now and it's disappointing to write such a bad review when my previous experiences were so amazing. However, my most recent experience was not enjoyable and left me disappointed. First and foremost, I came in for a new set and my nail tech decided to use another tip extension to take them off when I clearly specified for a soak off leaving me in such pain during the process. I continuously stated that she was hurting me and yet she continued. After taking the previous set off, she didn't care to fix any damages that she has caused. In other words, she left my nails uneven and chipped. She even ripped a piece of my nail, exposing the skin under. Moreover, she proceeded with the new set. They did come out pretty yet, the work was sloppy and left the acrylic very thin which you can see the actual tip extension through it. After a few days of having my new set, I had to do my own soak off because the glue was stuck to the skin under my nail bed causing such pain. This is highly unprofessional. Even the lady sitting next to her looked at her weird whilst she was doing my nails. Again, it's disappointing for me due to the fact that I've been going here for a few months and I had to be treated like this. read more

Was blocked on Instagram by the owner of this establishment after expressing some concerns about her outlandish requests for clients to be on time to their appointments when i have personally had to wait on a tech to start my nails because they had to go get their son from school. I mean if you have children or other responsibilities it's understandable but don't book appointments for the time that you won't be present that makes absolutely zero sense. I was appalled to know that expressing genuine displeasure with the restrictions and requirements that the customers must follow that don't em to apply to the staff. Over priced !!!For starters the place is so cute . They are very clean and all very nice people , but unfortunately I did not like the way the nails came out .Especially for $90. I don't know any other nice way to put it but I myself could've done a better job at my nails . The nails are supper thin . I'm not one to tell people how to do their job but I personally feel like they should've looked like what I asked for ,for $90 . Way too thin didn't even put a clear acrylic coat at the end I'm pretty sure all nail salons do that if you're gonna do the color this thin . Should've been at least $45 for this .
