Leaving a one star is too generous in my opinion, I came here for a lash removal and as soon as I walked in they told me I could go to the back room to get it removed. Once I entered the back room the lady who was doing my service was taking a nap on the client bed, she got up and told me to sit on the bed she was sleeping on. She applied the lash removal and it got in my eye, I was terrified I wasn't going to be able to see after the painful burning sensation, I called for help about 8 times (I'm not even exaggerating) and she came back into the room. I told her it got in my eye and she didn't bother attending to me but instead added more lash removal and told me to keep my eyes close. She left the room and I couldn't stand being there anymore so I called out to her and told her that I'm done. I paid $5, I should've done my research and saw the early red flags. read more

I used to get my toes done here regularly but the last 2 times it's been hell, I always get acrylic on my big toes and I always like them square. I know some of them don't speak English but I always try to find someone to translate so they understand what I want, I even used my translator once. Last time I got them done they charged me $45 dollars which I asked why when it's usually less than that I came to realize they had put shellac on them and I didn't noticed because I was on my phone. I also wasn't told neither I instructed the lady to do that, so I complained to the only guy who was working there and I also showed him how the color was not what I wanted and how bad they looked not squared at all and the acrylic looked like it wasn't filed he just said "ok we'll make sure that doesn't happen next time" so I just paid and left. read more

I made an appointment and was seen shortly after. The gentleman was ready for me upon arrival, greeted me by name and did a fabulous job on my nails. He took his time and made sure I was satisfied. As we were almost finished, he hands me the phone and it's the manager wanting to speak with me. She again apologized and thanked me for coming back. I found my new nail salon! I loved my service! They were fast but not like rushing fast. They did the job and had me out in an hour. I honestly hate being in the nail salon forever so I'm really thankful they did a job good without having me there forever. I got the rose pedicure which was $65. Tbh, my pedicure took longer than my nails which is surprising! The nail tech, I believe her name was Hannah did an amazing job while I was in the chair getting my feet done! The person who did my feet, I forgot her name, did amazing as well. I love how they did a temp check and wash hands to ensure cleanliness and safety. The place was clean and very simple. Hoped to find a new nail salon close to home but unfortunately not the case with this salon and I won't be back. I do want to mention that the young man who did my pedicure did a very good job but the shellac manicure really ruined it for me. I did notice during my pedicure he dropped liquid into the polish (maybe acetone or something similar?), which I assume they do to thin the polish/make it last. A little off putting to see him do that just right in front of me during the middle of my pedicure. Anyway, the salon staff was nice and the salon seemed clean enough, but I was extremely disappointed in my shellac manicure. They don't have OPI or some of the more reputable, longer lasting shellac colors I'm used to, but that would've been okay had the manicure been done well. The color doesn't cover my entire nail in some places, my cuticles were not pushed back/trimmed neatly (super jagged and rough looking, and some cuticles were polished over), and one of the worst parts was just how much shellac polish she got OUTSIDE of my nail and onto my skin that she didn't get off, even after I pointed it out. She tried removing it, but at that point it was stuck on my skin, making it look like I tried to paint my own nails but did a crappy job. This place is absolutely amazing. I have never been treated this well at a nail salon in all the 10 years i have been getting pedicures. My boyfriend and I went as a last minute thing and we just decided to go here. Zhen and Viet did our pedicures. We got the Milk & Honey package with mask and paraffin wax which is a must. They were so accommodating and very sweet. My nails are shaped exactly how i like them and my feet are so smooth. My boyfriend's nails are shinny since they buffed them (only $5 extra). I went to get a refill which was $35 and then she charged me five to cut down so my bill was 40 bucks. I paid for a 2024 version. Nails and I got a 1990 version Nails, which I should only pay $20 for this damn refill, there's no shape they're just bulky and after just a few days they're so thick you can't tell where my real nail is from fake nail because she put so much acrylic on it. I do not recommend this place at all and rude. And the vibe was none. read more

This is one of the best places you could possibly go! They take great care of you the owner and his family run it and they do an amazing job! Always take great care of me and the other that walk in! If you see the review in my picture, DO NOT BELIEVE IT! This girl was 100% drunk when she came into the shop, was told the wait would be over 35 minutes, she and he's drunk friend decided to wait. After that they voice there problems quite loudly, commenting on how the restaurant they left up-ed the salad price from $13 to $20 and how they where just gonna lose her business if they didn't baby her every need. (And would want to lose that) then she just kept demanding that she had called ahead 10 mins before she got there to make sure they had 'snow bunny' (not a color offered there) and when the gentleman who was working on me stopped to explain to her that they did not carry this and showed her the white they did she agreed it was fine then her and her friend went back and forth about what they wanted and weather or not she was gonna pay for her friend or her friend pay for her self. After she declares that she wants basic peti (which does not include scrub. ) she decides that her friend will have shellac. One they started on her toes she interested in a drunken huff and exclaims that's she dissatisfied with the service, and there's no need to continue. She then declares she will still pay for herself claiming that she's doing this in spite of the service not being finished and then gives then throws the Towle down knocks both her glass water bottle and a bottle of shellac nail polish on the ground and both shatter. At this point I'm fully ready to kick her out myself but the owner not only cleaned up her mess but also did not make her pay for the polish. She give them $25 for her petition, and give the one who cleaned the mess $10 and goes to sit in her car. The friend gets hers finished and goes to the car. The owner had to go out to them and remind them they had not paid for the friends peti, and because hers was shellac, it was $45 that was missing. She threw the money at them and then came charging in 5 mins later demanding $20 back to make her leave still drunk and still sluring her words, after it's made clear she's not being refunded she then sits in the cair again and demands them to paint her toes then. The owner still trying to be nice says to just paint them the lady literally gets 2 toes done and has another melt down, this time taking those from the foot rest, wiping the polish off and throws the Towle at the technician. At this point the owner is no longer nice and tells her she is not welcome back, and needs to leave she refused, so police where called in her drunkness she starts saying she will leave a bad review and the police give her money back you could smell the alcohol on her from 2 chairs away. Once this is pointed out she grass her bag and leaves but does try to come back but they didn't let her in the door this time and she officially leaves cops are told not to come out any more and a drunk driver goes home. read more

Visit: Tuesday, February 23, 2021 Recently moved into the neighborhood about two months ago and wanted to find a new spot close to the house. I had passed by this shop a few times and decided to give it a try. I have been getting consistent mani pedis for about 15 years now. You can tell after a few moments with a tech if they are new, know what they are doing and if they are going to be your go to person. Remember this point because it is going to come into play later. Here we go! I called this morning to get an appointment but no one answered. So decided just to drive up there and see if they were open. When I arrived they were in fact open. So I went inside to get a mani pedi. It had been a while and after the winter storm last week I needed to do something for myself just to decompress. This was supposed to be a relaxing experience, but ended up adding more frustration. A young guy came and greeted me. Everyone was wearing masks so that was great. He was doing a pedicure and stepped away to speak to me. There were only 3 people working. They easily could house another 7-10 people in here and they needed it. They are struggling hard. I told him I wanted a mani pedi and that I tried to call this morning but no one answered. He said they have been busy and could not answer the phone. I signed in and he asked me to wash my hands. He said it would be about 30 mins until they could get to me. I said that was fine. I did not mind waiting and wanted to support a local business. While waiting they let me sit in one of the pedicure chairs and use the massage chair. During this time a few people came in and wanted service but many left because they did not have the staff available and the wait was going to be 30-60 mins. About 45 mins later I was able to get the pedicure started. The lady who worked on me definitely seemed new. She seemed nervous. She got to work and it took her awhile. You could tell she wasn't too skilled in the craft. She dropped wax all over the floor trying to put my foot in the paraffin wax bag, cut one of my cuticles and was very confused when trying to move my legs to angles to work. The biggest issue was her nails. It looked like she began to install a set of acrylics on herself, cut the nails down and did not file the corners. So the nail tips she had on had these very sharp ends from being cut. So every time she touched me I got scratched. It was very irritating and definitely took away from the experience. When things slowed down in the shop and another tech opened up, the young guy asked her to come and do my manicure. She said "Why? She can do it." referencing to the tech already working on me. Definitely not something you would want a client to be in ear shot of. We finally finished the pedicure about an hour later and we began the manicure. Same issue with the nails scratching me. The tech was also slow doing this. I understand taking your time. That is one thing. It's another when you are going slow because you just don't know what you are doing. The result was okay, but for the price paid and time it took you would expect better. I went to go checkout and the young guy asked how the experience was. I told him it was okay. The tech who worked on me told him she needed to finish her own nails. I told them both yes you do and told them about the scratching. He laughed it off and apologized but didn't help the situation. My honest overall feeling is disappointment. I understand we all have gone through a lot the past week and I definitely am giving some grace in this review and rating due to that. However, when you operate a business there is a level of professional skill required not only to be in business but to remain in business. I actually wanted to spend more money and get more services, but due to lack of qualified staff being available and not wanting to continue to be worked on with someone who wasn't fully ready to be servicing clients. I might go back but I would have to have the young guy do my services from now on. Everyone who went to him seemed very happy. Definitely major room for improvement here. read more

I always receive the best compliments on my nails when I let Nathan do them! He's awesome! They're prices are unbeatable as well. If you live in the area I would come here. I would give 0 stars for the service I received today. Any other time I would give them a 3.5. I usually come here because of how close it is to my home. I chose the honey and milk lover pedicure for $45. Was it worth it? Absolutely not. Water was not warm, hot towels were not warm, the attitudes of the women were horrible and unfriendly. The service is at an all time low and the end result was subpar to say the least. When I requested warmer water and towels which were cold I was met with no concern. My dad got a pedicure by the same young lady and it was a challenge as he is a runner and doesn't take care of his feet but she did an AMAZING job.
