Delicious Venezuelan treats and food. Friendly service, beautiful little gem with a very quiet and friendly ambiance.. Cachitos, coffee, tequeños, everything was delicious! Everything was delicious!

I was super hungry in the morning and didn't feel like cooking breakfast the little woke up sick. I decide to order the perico arepa. Living in Miami since 2015 I've had my share of arepas. It arrived about 30 minutes later. The arepa was fairly large but I was disappointed as it wasn't hot, and actually the eggs had put out a lot of liquid and it split in half and was soggy. I also think the eggs weren't salted well. The saving grace was the picante salsa, I wasn't too impressed with the ajo salsa. I probably would not order again with plenty of other options around.

Cachitos de jamon... they may not look perfect, but they do taste and feel perfect.

You can't get more Venezuelan than the European corner. For those of you wondering, the first thin you have to know about Venezuela is that most good bakeries, delis and restaurants are owned by either a Spaniards, Portugueses or Italians, hence the European Corner's name is actually the most appropriate you can get for this. It's been along time since I came last... but it is as great as I remember. The cachitos de jamón (ham pastries) are perfect. Unlike other places where they may look prettier but taste meh, here they look a bit less... photoshopped, while in taste, texture and content they actually are perfect. The coffee, at least the "marrón grande" taste just like they did back in Caracas. The desayuno criollo, to my taste, a bit low on salt (but you can always ad salt, you can never subtract it, so I'm not complaining. The perico (eggs) was nice, the shredded beef too, but the star (and those who know me know I'm not usually a bean guy) were the caraotas negras (black beans). The arepas are nice, though they look a bit burnt and uneven, just like home-made food should be. Well, the hot sauce is as good as it gets, and the garlic sauce is pure deliciousness. I decided to give the golfeados a second chance. If you don't know what a golfeado is, think of something that resembles a cinnamon roll, and you put a square of cheese, at ambiance temperature, over the hot/warm roll. The last time I came, I ordered the golfeados to go, so maybe that was why they were a bit stiff. This time I got them to dine in. While the golfeado itself was good, not great. But it is kind of an insult to melt the cheese on the roll. YOU DO NOT DO THAT! ¡Eso no se hace! I'm not taking a picture of that traumatic event. But they really did melt the cheese. Anyway, that's the star I subtracted, everything else can't get better. I love the place, they care to give you actual Venezuelan food, it may not look "magazine cover" perfect, but the taste and texture is always how it should be.

I love small ma and pa kinda places! This is a ma and pa place with a Venezuelan twist. It looks like a bakery but has delicious breakfast/lunch menu. We shared the arepa with eggs and the cachapas which I learned is a sweet corn pancake.....wow! We are talking incredible! Buttery and Rich yet sweet! Knocked me off my feet! I have fallen in love! Prices are very reasonable! Cafe con leche comes without sugar! Whoop whoop! So add your own if you need it. A small gem!

Can someone please explain why this place is called European Corner? Seriously, please message me. We wandered into this casual Venezuelan joint located across the street from the Winn Dixie after grocery shopping. Luckily after a couple minutes a mom with a couple of kids showed up so we weren't the only ones dining here. I asked for a cachapa (several yelpers mentioned these) but the sweet lady didn't quite understand me and said the didn't have them. She also said that there were no tequeños. They either ran out or don't serve them on the weekends. I didn't quite understand the lady. I tried some corn cake filled with pork and it was delicious. Rich, meaty comfort food with sweetness from the corn. It might have been a cachapa after all. I still don't know. Service was very friendly & accommodating considering I had no idea what most things were on the menu. They have a small parking lot in front of the small shop. There are about four tables inside if you want to eat your food right away.

Exceptional gem in the heart of South Miami. Super friendly "mom and pop" establishment with home made and fresh empanadas, natural juices, arepas stuffed to max capacity all at a great price. High quality food is an understatement. Go!

Food is incredible. One of the best places for authentic Venezuelan food. My favorite breakfast place. Best Cachapa ever. Seems like a lovely family run business committed to quality and customer service.

What a wonderful little corner bakery. You walk in and are immediately greeted by the owners who are extremely kind. They have on display beautifully made cakes, pastries, cheeses and finger foods like empanadas and tequeños. I came here today because I had a doctors appointment nearby and I'm glad I stopped by. Authentic Venezuelan food is what you can expect as well as great service. Also, this place is very reasonably priced. I ordered an arepa with huevos pericos and cheese it was delicious. My mom ordered huevos pericos and toast. They didn't offer her breakfast on the menu but they were able to prepare it for her which was thoughtful. This place has about 6 tables so it isn't big, but it's cozy and the food is yummy. Swing by if you're in the area.

We started with the bone marrow appetizer, and it was truly outstanding -- incredibly balanced, rich without being overwhelming, and so good we couldn't stop talking about it. We ordered the steak and eggs. The crunchy brioche, earthy mushroom purée, and beautifully sliced steak came together perfectly, and the saltiness of the caviar tied everything together in a really thoughtful way. The picanha was another standout! incredibly tender and full of flavor. We paired it with the broccolini and wagyu fat potatoes, both of which were absolutely delicious. To finish, we shared the ube cheesecake empanada. We were a bit hesitant at first, but it turned out to be the perfect ending to an already fantastic meal. The cocktails throughout the night were also excellent. We enjoyed the restaurant so much that we brought friends back later the same week. That visit was just as impressive -- we ordered the tomahawk steak, garden salad, bone marrow (again!), steak and eggs, truffle fries, broccolini, carrots, and tried all of the desserts. Once again, everything was delicious across the board. The only area for improvement would be the service. Everyone was kind and attentive, but at times too quick to clear plates and not proactive enough with the next course. At a restaurant of this caliber, I'd expect the dessert menu to be offered immediately after plates are cleared, rather than needing to track down a server. Overall, the food is exceptional, and we'll absolutely be back.

The ambiance is very upscale, welcoming, and sets the tone for a memorable visit. Joey the bartender was very professional, kind, extremely welcoming and very apologetic for the Happy Hour lounge being closed the day I visited which was bit disappointing. However, my friend and I still decided to stay and enjoy a cocktail. As we were leaving, we met Tommy the manager, who was just as nice & gave us a tour of the dinner area which I would love to try one day. He briefly chatted with us and gave us his business card. Everything about this place was top-tier. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a classy night out with exceptional service or just a few appetizers & a cocktail.

From the moment we walked in and were handed a glass of prosecco, it was clear this would be something different. There was an intentionality to everything--the pacing, the ambiance, the way each course was introduced. It didn't feel transactional. It felt ceremonial. Each of the six courses represented a different European destination (Portugal, Spain, France, Italy and Greece), and what made it extraordinary wasn't just the quality of the food--which was exceptional--but the way the environment transformed alongside it. Lighting, visuals, sound, and narration worked together in a way that made every dish feel contextual and meaningful, rather than simply plated. Every part of this immersive experience contained instruments working in harmony to amplify the meaning of each course. The courses were beautifully composed and balanced. Nothing felt excessive or forced. Each plate served a purpose in the broader narrative, and each wine or cocktail pairing elevated the dish rather than competing with it. What stood out most, though, was how present it made you feel. In a world where most dinners blur together, this one didn't. Time slowed down. You became immersed. Fully engaged. The service was impeccable--attentive, warm, and deeply knowledgeable without ever feeling rehearsed or overbearing. You felt guided, not served. Tommy (the owner/proprietor) and his staff were unquestionably five-stars. By the end, you remembered how it felt to be transported somewhere else without ever boarding a plane. It's worth every moment.

Although interesting for a Russian menu- which I have not had in years. The ambiance is super luxurious, like a nightclub. There is a long bar area with multiple colored lights. The menu consists of well known dishes but there are no surprises - everything is cooked well and tasty but not memorable. The best dish is the Ceasar's salad which is prepared table side, using raw eggs (!) and is a must-order simply for the show. Everything seemed to order it. The crab cakes were very good - crispy crust and big chunks of crab with a spicy mayo on the side - worth it. Lumache Alla Vodka was also good, with the pasta cooked just right and a nice spicy kick to the sauce. The almonds on the European Sea Bass made the fish - toasted and slightly caramelized paired with a very good sea bass. Get it if you are in the mood. The oysters Rockefeller are simply ok but not worth reordering. The chocolate layer cake was also very good but not extraordinary and typically of any good pastry shop's version. Finally the service is what you would expect of a Michelin Star, which was precise and well executed although our waiter has a pretty bland personality compared to the guy serving the table next to us.

After you valet, be sure to use the restrooms because it's a journey to and from your table. Now, this is where we thought we were at a self service restaurant. After being seated there was no waiter in sight, the table next to us speaking loud and clear that they have been waiting for their check for over twenty minutes. After 15 minutes, still no server in sight. I got up to go order from the bar, behind me comes our server. He took our order and brought our drinks and that was the end of him. The Pina Colada was a bit too sweet, the rosé, perfect. After we finished our drinks I went in search for our waiter once again. He was nowhere to be found, so I asked another server if we could order a salad, she insisted on finding him for us. Out of nowhere he appeared, and I no longer had any patience. We asked to move tables, for a new server and this is where a true five star service started. We ended with a fantastic, attentive and friendly waiter. He brought us drinks in a timely manner, checked up on us often and reminded us that good service does exist, just not with our first server. Overall, the service needs some serious attention here. When we arrived and walked through the front door, the restaurant was completely empty... No host, no staff, no one in sight. We waited around for about 15 minutes before deciding to walk around the property, where we eventually found a side entrance near the bar with two employees. When we told them we were there to dine, they seemed genuinely shocked by the size of our group, despite the fact that we reminded them we had a reservation. We were then asked to wait another 15 minutes while they prepared a table. During this time, the air conditioning inside was not on, which is unacceptable given this is South Florida and the heat can be relentless. We ended up asking to sit outside, which was surprisingly cooler. Once seated, we immediately noticed bird droppings on the floor and on a wall/pillar just inches away from our table. It was very off-putting and confusing why this wasn't cleaned, especially since the outdoor area is clearly meant for guests. Service continued to be disorganized. After sitting for several minutes, we were finally asked if we wanted anything to drink, and we requested water. Immediately after that, we were asked what we wanted to order for dinner -- before we even had time to look at the menu. It felt rushed and poorly timed. When the food began coming out, it arrived in random spurts rather than together. Half of our group received their meals and started eating, while the other half waited over 20 minutes. At one point, more of our food was brought out -- but instead of being served to us, it was left sitting on the bar nearby for about 15 minutes. We had to ask three separate times if that food was ours, get ignored, then FINALLY be told, "Oh yeah, sorry, we'll serve you now." By that point, the food had been sitting out, exposed, and had gone cold. Not to mention we were already outside so I'm sure some flies were on and around the food. The server attempted to give us the food and we told him it was cold. He then said he would "warm it up". We had to explicitly ask for fresh plates, which should never have been necessary. By the time the replacements arrived, the rest of the party had already been waiting 30+ minutes after others had finished eating. The entire experience just felt chaotic. There was obviously a noticeable inconsistency in service. A table next to us appeared to be receiving extremely attentive service, while our table struggled to get even basic needs met. I think they may have been Georgian so they got special treatment. One of the particularly frustrating issues was water -- all of us were drinking water, and not once were our glasses refilled until the very end, when they were completely empty and we were visibly thirsty. Even then, we had to ask for more water!! Because this was a birthday celebration, we had originally planned on getting dessert, but given everything that had happened, we decided to just ask for the check. Getting our check took an additional 20+ minutes to arrive. To add to the confusion, another staff member repeatedly brought food to our table that none of us had ordered, forcing our server to redirect him to the correct tables. It seemed like nobody was trained?? With all that said, the food and drinks themselves were very good overall and tasted unique compared to standard offerings in the area. Our waitress was also very kind, and it was clear she was overwhelmed and likely did not have enough support to properly manage everything. The location is beautiful and has a great atmosphere, with fantastic views of the surrounding buildings and nearby water in Fort Lauderdale. Unfortunately, the lack of organization, cleanliness, and basic service overshadowed what could have been a great experience. I really am rooting for them and hoping they can get it together because it has potential.
