I can't recommend The Car Doctor enough!…read more My transfer case catastrophically failed, and I was incredibly lucky that my car broke down just two minutes away from their shop. It was around 10:00 PM, so I searched Google for the nearest repair shop and found The Car Doctor. Even though they were closing, one of the employees took the time to help me drop off my car. That alone showed me they genuinely care about their customers. The next morning, my car was fully diagnosed, and they clearly explained the issue and gave me multiple repair options without any pressure. Since replacing the transfer case is a major job, I was told it would likely take a few days. To my surprise, I received a text message the very next day around 5:00 PM saying my car was ready for pickup! I honestly couldn't believe how quickly they completed such a big repair. The price was very fair, but what really stood out was the outstanding customer service, professionalism, honesty, communication, and efficiency. Everyone at the shop treated me with respect and made a stressful situation so much easier. Thank you to the entire team at The Car Doctor for taking such great care of me and getting me back on the road so quickly. You've earned a customer for life. Highly recommended!

As such, I drove over early on a Tuesday morning, and got in line before their 7:30 AM start time (first come, first served). Three (3) vehicles were in front of me. To their credit, they were quick and efficient. I could also see many of the folks were repeat customers based on the obvious familiarity. Bottom line, they completed my inspection by 8:15 AM, spending no more than 10 - 15 minutes per vehicle. I was especially relieved to see the care they took to not ding or scratch a vehicle. I certainly would recommend Yates to others based on the experiences of my wife and I. I will be back!

While the inspection line was long (5 cars in front of me and 6 cars behind), it was taking too long. When a weird situation happened with my car, Marvin & Willie were super transparent, helpful, and kind to me while they accommodated me without hesitation. Know that car service centers/dealerships have a really bad rep for the greedy out there, but in the years that I've come here, I've always depended on this service station to do right by me and not try to empty my wallet as much as possible. I also appreciated not having to re-explain my situation ten different times for them to remember who I was. Was pleasantly surprised to see that they also updated the waiting area. I was okay waiting in the old area and migrating to McDonald's if it meant I got good service, but I can tell it's going to make a huge difference for the next time I do have to wait a little now that it's all revamped. Overall, a great experience. Thanks Marvin & Willie! Will obviously come again.

1 star. Absolutely terrible experience…read more I brought my BMW here thinking I would save money compared to the dealership. Big mistake. They quoted me around $2,950 for an oil housing replacement, while the dealership quoted $3,000. So there is basically no price advantage at all. Then it got worse. On the first day, they gave me my car back without the underbody cover at all. When I came to pick it up, I clearly told them that I would take the cover myself and they didn't need to install anything, but instead they handed me someone else's cover, which does not even fit my car. On top of that, I had insurance that was supposed to cover specific damage, but they opened a claim for everything they possibly could, creating unnecessary complications. I would not recommend it to anyone.
