Went in to have my oil cooler replaced and within 50 miles of leaving their shop my engine blew up. Come to find out if they failed to prime the oil pump it will cause engine failure and they said, "tough" and proceeded to quote me 20k for an engine replacement. I had taken my Maserati Granturismo twice for a custom wheel alignment and all wheels balance, not factory specs. EuroSpec was able to meet my requirements to prevent inner wheel wear that was happening when aligned to factory specs. The alignment was good, because after a year and a half from the 1st alignment it was pulling to the right a bit. It now drives very straight and no shake or wheels bounce. read more

Yesterday I took my wife's Jaguar XF in to have a leaky valve gasket replaced along with an oil change. About 10 minutes after I drove off the check engine light flashed on. I immediately called Euro Spec and advised them of what was happening they advised me it could be something simple as the gas cap needing to be tightened. I pulled over at the 1st gas station and tightened up the gas cap needless to say the check engine light remained on. I was advised to bring the car in 1st thing in the morning to see what was causing the check engine light to come on. I arrived to Euro Spec at 9am at 11am I was advised that the code that was causing the check engine light was indeed due to the gas cap. I was handed my keys and was told to have a good day. I walked to my car, unlocked the door and put my foot on the brake, fastened my seatbelt, and hit the start button...... NOTHING, ok maybe I did something wrong let me try this again.... NOTHING! One more time. NOTHING! I walked back in and grabbed Justin the Technician. He came out and tried the same thing and the car didn't start. We changed the battery in the keyfob and it still didn't start. I had to leave due to my attendance was needed in my office. I received a call at 2:58pm from Euro Spec that after test were done my keyfob was not reading. Now I'm confused the same keyfob that was used to unlock the car, the same one that was used when the tech drove the car to the front earlier that morning. Ok I happened to have a replacement key that needed to be programmed so I left work again and went back to Euro Spec and sat in the waiting area for almost 2 hours without any news on what was going on. Finally I was told there was a program needed for the replacement keyfob and they would not have it until tomorrow. Then I was told the cost of everything was going to be an additional $404.00. Wait WTF. I just paid Euro Spec $569.87 the day before. I'm still trying to process this. I'm paying $404 extra because the check engine light code was never reset. I understand that additional time was put into trying to figure out why the car wouldn't start. I UNDERSTAND that it cost to program a keyfob an additional $404 after I just proudly paid $569.87 and my keyfob worked prior to 9am and even when the Technician drove the car from the garage to the front of the building. This does not make sense. I offered to pay for the programming of the keyfob and I was told by the Manager that was not something he could do because he didn't charge me to see why the check engine light was on. Wait! Hold on you didn't charge me to look at my car when the check engine light came on 10 minutes after I paid Euro Spec $570 yesterday really. This will be the last time I use Euro Spec. They came highly recommended and seemed to be very customer service oriented but after this experience today they have lost a customer. read more

He just tells me the computer gave us this code listed and could not tell me anything else. Basically they said I could come in and have the sunroof diagnosed, did not have time to get to the car before the weekend, then I said I would come pick it up and not leave it there, so they hurried and connect it to the computer for 15 seconds, gave me an irrelevant code having nothing to do with the sunroof (which I researched) and told me that that was the diagnostic and charged me because they knew I would not be coming back to have this company fix anything. read more

Subsequently took back twice but they again sent (my wife and her) vehicle back out on the road with a soft brake pedal that when pressed went to within an inch of floorboard. VERY DANGEROUS AND VERY UNSAFE. (But it wasn't HIS wife's car, so...) NO QUALITY CONTROL! Took vehicle to John at A&E Auto Services, a "one man show" in SA who readily identified and fixed problem. Euro Spec found and fixed the problem by manufacturing a metal cover for the cabin air filter system that has worked great. Not the cheapest, but the best I've been to. Best service I have had. I've come here several times and they have always always saved me money. My brake light came on and I thought I needed new pads; however, it was the sensor, and since they replaced the pads, the sensor was replaced by warranty. They are thorough and fair priced. Had the taken it to Tom Bush it would have cost me an arm and a leg..and having a History with them... they would have replaced the brake pads regardless. Also, did I mention the rebate(customer loyalty check)? This is also being applied to my billing, 199 down to 150$. I had to replace some filters.... Took my car for leaking oil problem. The had the car for 2-3 days. Customer service called to share I need new upper and lower timing covers ($1500). Found the leak afeter leak detection test performed. Scheduled to bring the car back for 2-3 days to fix. After picking up the car, still had leak. Called, and was told to bring it back. Dropped off another 2 days, was told it is just residual oil from leak, they clean out the oil, car is good. Several days later, still leaking. Bought it back in for 3 days and was told its the oil ring from the dip stick. Picked up the car, and week or so later (I dont drive my car everyday, work from home), leaking again. Dropped off the car for 3 days, was told they did another leak test and they want to replace the new lower timing cover they just put on. Brought it back for another 2 days. They said call us if I have any more problems. Started leaking again, called my customer service tech and shared I am still having a problem, he said its a NEW leak! For me to bring it back in to find the NEW cause. I shared my car has never stopped leaking and obviously the work performed didnt fix the cause. I asked for refund, I was told this company does not do refunds! read more

Brought my 2015 BMW M4 here last year for an oil change. I rarely drive the car and was in florida for the winter. I took the car back up to CT and went to have BMW change the oil. The then informed me that whoever changed the oil last tightened the bolt way too much and stripped it. The bolt will now not come out and I need a new $1500 oil pan. I called the owner of Euro Spec Ryan Merchan who essentially pointed the fingers back at me and said the car is known for this issue and there is no way to prove they messed up. I talked with BMW who said this issue is not common and that they can tell how extremely tight it had been put on based off how hard it was to get the engine bay areas off as well. Euro Spec refuses to acknowledge their error and told me to go kick rocks. I am now out over $2,000 after trusting this show to do a simple oil chance. I took my 2014 Mercedes Benz here for an alignment, to look at 2 springs in the eyeglass holder that had fallen out ( which I still had) and to see if the washer fluid button could be replaced. I was told they would do a diagnostic on the car but was not told I would be charged for this. I received a call after dropping it off that the springs could be replaced but the button could not be replaced. It would cost 800.00 for the entire wiper stalk to be replaced and labor because they would have to take the whole steering column apart to replace this. I said no. They started the alignment and called me and said that I would need mew tie rods because they couldn't get them off to do the alignment. Cost 1200.00. Told me I needed new brakes and rotors. Told me I needed new front tires due to car being mis-aligned. Long story short I paid over 1000.00 for 2 new tires and for them to replace the springs I had for the eye glass holder (which still isn't working correctly), a diagnostic which I was charged a hefty fee for, and a partially completed alignment. Do not take your vehicle here. They will find all kinds of things wrong with you car to try to get money from you. read more

I needed an oil change for a BMW 3 series which generally runs about $128.00 at the dealership or $99.00 if I get lucky and they are having a special. BMW will also wash your car with an oil change. Eurospec did a fantastic job. The garage is spotless and the employees are friendly. However, they charged $160.00 for an oil change. I'll wait at the dealership for a couple of hours before I pay that kind of money for an oil change. For that price, they could've at least washed the car. read more

I called Euro Spec with a/c issues in my car; it was sometimes blowing warm air instead of cold. When I called, I was quoted $150 to run a diagnostic test. When I brought my car in for the test (6/2), I was told that to run dye through the system, it would cost $285 (Problem #1). I decided to get this completed. Was informed I needed the compressor, expansion valve, and condenser replaced, receiver dryer, evac and recharge. The total repair would cost $2,994. I decided to pick the car up and was told if I brought it back for the repairs, I would have to have the diagnostic run again (Problem #2). In addition, when I picked up the car, it was constantly blowing hot air (Problem #3). I decided to go to another repair shop. Their findings: the service ports need replacing ($750). I told them about what I was told previously; they re-checked and everything else was fine (Problem #4). I got my car repaired for $750 instead of $2,994 and have not had an issue since. I don't know if it was me being a woman, but I will not be going back. read more

I'm not sure what's going with this place. They replaced my timing chain a couple of months ago and almost immediately the car started occasionally running rough at idle. I called them to let them know something wasn't right and when I took it back in they said I would need a new fuel injector but it wouldn't hurt anything to drive it for a while so I did. When I brought it back, one injector turned into two injectors and it took them all day to replace them. Funny thing is, the car wasn't any better so they replaced the spark plugs. Still not any better. They had no clue what the problem is. They were talking vacuum tubes, smoke testing, compression, VANOS, wiring, software updates...etc. They called me Wednesday afternoon saying it was the valvetronic units and they would have the parts the next morning and car would be ready to go. They had the car for nearly two weeks and finally got it back to me. They said something about some magnets that needed replacing or some kind of bullshit. Now the car runs great sometimes but it has stalled 3 times since I got it back and it's lurching when I come to a stop (as if someone suddenly stepped on the gas for a second). These guys are never touching my car again. Update: They warped my cylinder head by removing a bracket. This caused $7,000.00 worth of repairs. The good news is their insurance covered it so I took the car to the stealership and let them do the work. I also got a refund of $3,000.00 from EuroSpec. In addition to destroying my engine, the also unplugged a connection, which forced the car to go into fail safe mode, which masked the problems for a while. read more

I took my Jetta to Euro Spec last week with some ignition issues. My car wouldn't shut off. They called me later in the day with a quote of $1100 to replace three parts. They said it would take 5 hours of labor and it would take about a week to receive my car back because they had to order some parts. I told them I needed to think about it. In the meantime, I spoke with O'Steen Volkswagen about my issue. They quoted me a much lower price of $497...this price was with having to replace the tumbler which they said rarely needs to be done. I was told by Euro it needed replaced. I let them know I was going to pickup my car and take it to O'Steen. They called me while I was enroute to let me know that with my extended warranty I would only owe $397 because the warranty would cover $566. Long story short...I decided to go with my instincts and drove my car to O'Steen. They only had to replace one part and the total came to $320 of which my warranty paid for ALL of it and it only took them 2 hours to complete the job. Oh, and I received my car the same day. Euro Spec tried to charge me $800 more than the dealership. Don't take your car here. read more

I had an intermittent problem that would stall the engine on the highway. When the issue occurred a code would pop. I would read the code start the engine and the code would clear. Needless to say I would take the car in and inevitably get a call saying we can't find anything wrong with your car. On a friends recommendation I brought the car to eurospec and they actually listened to me. I left the car and they drove it until the problem occurred for them. They fixed it and drove it another three days to make sure they got the issue fixed. I have had the car for a week and have had no problems. read more

Deceptive, dishonest, BEWARE. We retired in Northern Florida since 2015. Our Mercedes CLS was always service at the dealership. The closest MB dealer near my new home is 20 mi away so I start servicing my car at Euro Spec. Each time I ran in they always found some additional problem(s) or didn't solve the problem. The shop foreman convinced(more like pushing)me to purchased a set of Continental tires instead of my choice(Michelin). In less than 15,000 mi a golf ball size tumor protruding from the front tire side wall. They refused to replace it but to offered me to purchase another bad tire at prorated price. Outrageous, i don't think any sane person would put any more money on a shitty product. I had my brake pads replaced in 2 different times with them. After they replaced the front pads the car start shaking under heavy braking. I took the car back they flush the brake fluid twice but didn't solve the braking issue. So I took my car to a MB specialist and he found the problem in less than 5 mins. Euro Spec had installed 2 different type of brake pads on the car. They've charged me over a huge sum of money on the problem caused by their incompetence professionalism. They never offer me a refund or an apology. I learned about EuroSpec from Tirerack.com after buying tires for my Mercedes AMG and selecting EuroSpec as the installer. I prefered to have the work done by a shop with specialized expertise in my car. Once they got the car in the shop and took off the wheels they did a cursory look around and informed me that the front brakes were nearly due even though the sensors had not hit the rotors yet it made sense to do them while the car was there so I didn't have to come back a few thousand miles later. While I waited they were able to acquire the proper brake parts and install them...great demonstration of excellent service! While waiting I talked with the owners and they are performance car enthusiasts rather than just another shop working on European cars, I really like that. I had been going there for years getting my regularly scheduled maintenance on my Mercedes Benz and I will NEVER go there again. These clowns had the audacity to quote me $535 for scheduled maintenance (oil change, fluid flush) on a Mercedes Benz. The BENZ dealership doesn't even charge that much!!. It's a shame that whoever is in charge now would try to overcharge their loyal customers. I don't know what happened to Steve but when he left, he took the honesty and customer service with him.
