Quite possibly the worst takeout meal I have ever had. We ordered an Italian sub, chicken parm sub, a Caesar salad, and chocolate chip cookies. All of it was disgusting. The red sauce tasted sour, the salad was old with soggy Parmesan cheese, and the cookies tasted synthetic. read more

This is a hidden gem in the heart of Hingham, MA. Located in the back of a liquor store, you'll find this cute & clean sub shop. If your trying to get a quick bite that's filling and affordable at lunch, this is a great choice. You can grab something cold from the fridge, or order hot food from the counter. This was my first visit and recommended by a work friend. She knows the area restaurants and said we wouldn't be disappointed. She was right, I loved my sub. They have a large selection of subs including Italian, BLT, Chicken Parm, Turkey, Tuna and many others. They also offer salads, calzones and party platters. I ordered the chicken salad sub. I loved it! Tasty chicken salad on fresh bread. So good. We were in & out within 10 minutes for all four subs. So fast. Friendly staff. Usually everything's really great at the Norwell location. Just lately summer 2024, the attitude of the hairless young white men working there is completely off putting. No one can say hello, no one can say, hi, what can I get you please? Everyone looks at you agape, like, are you ready?! Like they're doing me a giant favor, staring at me, wondering what I want, and eventually making me a sandwich. I don't appreciate it and There are and have been better people working here. Maybe it's because everyone's gone for the summer leaving these humans here to do the work. Please train your staff to be more friendly and courteous. read more

Bread was ok, meat was not good, place was dirty when we went there, and our order was wrong. Haven't been back in 10 months and won't being going back any time soon. i Should have walked out when two customers came in to say their large orders were wrong And they wanted refunds. I frequently visit Euro Mart for lunch with colleagues and have even catered a family party from here. Unfortunately today I had a very negative experience when I attempted to use a gift card that was given to me in December of 2021 and had it ripped up and was told it could not be used because they had switched to a new system. I called to try to further discuss the issue and reminded the man on the phone of the MA law that states gift cards must be honored for a minimum of 7 years and was told that I could show up there with my lawyer and he would bring his lawyer and we could discuss the law because he knows the law. He then told me that people can't be coming in with gift cards from 2007 which I reminded him mine was from 2021 to which he replied that he had just looked at it in front of his face and already knew that and insisted that he would not honor the $25 gift card because he "works hard for his money." This was an extremely rude and off putting interaction from a business owner over a gift card that someone had already paid for. I was hoping by calling to follow up I would be given better treatment but unfortunately that was not the case. While I enjoy the food from here I sadly will not be returning after the way I was treated today. read more

We read an article once that they had the best Italian sub on the South Shore. Hubby confirms this. I love the "Porchetta Special" (thinly sliced Italian ham, fresh mozzi, pesto and roasted peppers). Their sub rolls are to die for and they keep secret where they get them from. (Trust me. I asked and they winked and said, "Canada.") We keep quarts of their frozen Italian Wedding soup in our freezer as a staple. Don't let the "ambience" of the place scare you off. It's a liquor store in front with a smattering of Italian groceries but the magic happens at the deli counter at the rear. And they are open 7 days a week! just got a prosciutto de Parma here today and I have to tell you the service was some thing out of 19 7080s. Extremely respectful, extremely good-natured, professional beyond what you see today, and I know that's not saying much as the service industry has truly taken its fall. You could tell that the more mature woman that ran the show not with an iron fist but with respect to her employees. They smiled. They laughed. They look like they were having a great time. I haven't eaten my sandwich as of yet, but I wanted to get this down for the service along. We love this place. We went for the first time today and got the prosciutto di Parma and fresh baked chocolate chip cookie. It was amazing. Everything was fresh and just as it should be. Aged/slightly funky prosciutto (how it should be), fresh Basil, creamy mozzarella, and THE best bread. We will certainly be make to try everything else on the mine and to pick up any and all of out of our "over 21" needs. From walking around they have a great selection, and we will certainly be back. Super Subs, Sandwiches, and Old World Delights but still no Hoagie Coming from the land of Hoagies where the magic of crisp, chewy bread meets delectable Italian cured meats, I've had my fair share of disappointment. My last neighborhood in Virginia had the promise of the Italian Store, which is good but still nothing like Sarcones in Philly or White House in AC. Now I'm living on the South Shore of Boston and my search for a top quality Hoagie continues. The Euro Mart on Whiting St. in Higham offers me some solace and tastes of home with their subs and sandwiches. The deli counter is in the back of the store. You can order one of roughly 8 different sandwiches. The one that I went to try first is the Italian. It has a delicious blend of Italian cold cuts, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, olive oil, vinegar and oregano piled onto a crispy and chewy roll (not quite a hoagie roll but still suitable). The sandwich is $7 and it's a fantastic sandwich. You might get a foot long at Subway for $5 but you're not going to get the top quality ingredients that they use here. I was very impressed and happy with my sandwich. I can't quite call it a Hoagie due to the roll but overall it's better than the Italian store back in Arlington. The shop itself is also filled with many tasty options from frozen pasta, pre-cooked dinners, wines, quality beer and refillable balsamic vinegar ($11 for the first pour and then $8.95 when you come back, not a bad deal). So if you're in the Hingham, Norwell area and looking for a sub for lunch I definitely recommend the Euro Mart. read more

We've done Euro Mart catering now 2 different times. One time for my Dad's retirement and most recently for my nieces bday party. Everyone raved about the food. We did meatballs, sausages, cold cuts, and Greek salad this last time. The time before we did lasagna and another ziti dish. Everything was delicious. I have a picky family and people were packing up to go bags! I highly recommend for catering. We typically pick it up - not sure if they deliver. But it is the combination of a great sandwich and a quality beer selection that makes Euro Mart stand out. There aren't a lot of places to do one-stop shopping like it. Some of the tenderest and freshest chicken Marsala, pulled pork, meatballs and Mac and cheese we have ever purchased for a party. It is quality food for catered party. The food was excellent it was not frozen the chicken was pounded and thin slices with mushroom wine sauce. Everything was fresh. I saw it after we exited Marylou's coffee and since they shared a parking lot we decided to go in and look around. I loved their selection of craft beers. We ended up purchasing an apricot wheat beer. They also have a huge selection of European candies. And, they have kinder eggs! I love kinder eggs. They're pretty cool and even though I'm not 5 I like seeing what toy is inside. There's a deli section too and based on the menu they have some interesting and delicious sounding sandwiches for sale.
